Guest Reviews
- June Lesley (8/5): -
- Paul (9/5): - The accommodation was quiet, with a friendly greeting on arrival. The Breakfast was excellent!! Rooms are a bit dated, but the excellent service more than made up for it
- Buxton (8/5): Comfortable and cosy. - Lovely breakfast, rooms great, very comfy beds. Nothing, Telford not as nice as I thought it was going to be.
- Claire (9/5): Fabulous B&B - The owners were lovely, rooms are spotlessly clean , comfortable beds, all amenities met. No black pudding for breakfast.
- Noel (8/5): -
- Jen (9/5): Booked as affordable and will likely return if attending conference again - great little guest house - Stayed at Grove House whilst attending a conference at Telford International Centre - not as convenient as staying onsite (but I'd left it too late to book that affordably), but a 7 minute drive isn't much of a hardship! Room size fantastic for 2 sharing, staff were incredibly friendly/helpful, and breakfast - YUM! Literally only 2 things, both personal - could have done with a larger bath towel, those supplied were perfect for my size 10 colleague, but meant I couldn't waltz around in mine (and at size 16 I'm not exactly a heffer!). And I could have done with a slightly plumper pillow as I have neck issues (yes, I probably should've brought my own, good point, well made!).
- Darren (10/5): -
- Jav (10/5): great value for money, can’t go wrong - clean and tidy, friendly host, superbly presented breakfast if being picky, and it was only a minor flaw, the curtains could probably do with an update to block out the early morning light
- Guy (8/5): -
- Barbara (10/5): Exceptional - Exceptional 10 out of 10 Great customer service will say everything was exceptional
- Sophia (9/5): Met my needs well. Friendly and helpful. Would return - I didn't stay for breakfast but it smelled great. Parking, safe and plentiful. TV OK, a bit small but plenty of choice. Well looked after by the host. Would stay again.

- Margaret (7/5): Leslie was helpful and informative when I needed help and information - The room was very adequate, spacious with ensuite shower, etc.
The dining room was nicely laid out.
Plenty of parking and Lesley was pleasant. Several big cracks in different walls around the building, creaky floors and a little paintwork required.
No lift only stairs
- Rasike (10/5): Very relaxing - I went there for an Anual conference. Stayed two days. The lady was very polite and helpful and the English breakfast was brilliant. The lady could be having a mild to miderate hearing impairement. Should as the GP to refer to the lical audiology team.

- Helen (9/5): Exceptionally good value for money! - Very comfortable stay here at Grove House Guest House. Bed was extremely comfortable, room and en-suite was clean and all essentials provided.
Breakfast was a very generous full English and continental options also.
There was a slight noise from a ?washing machine within a short distance of my room which initially made it difficult to fall asleep but other than that I couldn’t fault my stay here and would definitely stay here again! Noise from washing machine

- Alison (9/5): Comfortable, good breakfast and na an unrushed checkout. Very happy with our stay and would use aga - Breakfast was excellent, the location was perfect for our visit and the room was a little dated but clean and comfortable. Parking was also a nice bonus. A few cobwebs on the ceiling but who doesn’t have those. Could hear our downstairs neighbour snoring but he must have been exceptionally loud and that’s nothing that could be done about that.
- Sujeera (9/5): enjoyed the stay - very good experience good host
- David (8/5): Nice and clean. - Clean and a great breakfast The bed a little too firm. Location a bit out of town.
- Nuttyducksmum (8/5): Telford B&B - Excellent location right by local shop and food outlets.
Great breakfast really tasty Room was quite cold, and noise from outside room was quite intrusive
- Tatenda (7/5): Great for the price for 1 night max - The breakfast was lovely except the standard restaurant sausages which I am not a fan of but considering price it was great The bed was hard and the room was cold
- Mike (8/5): -
- Sarah (8/5): Welcoming and great breakfast. - So clean, and excellent breakfast. Parking on site a treat.
Hosts friendly and helpful. There’s just a bit of noise from adjacent rooms and corridors in the early mornings, or even over night, if a light sleeper like me.
- Raushan Irgaliyeva (9/5): -
- Eileen (10/5): A ver comfortable and refreshing night’s stay. - Good safe stop over for a single traveller.
Excellent parking facilities.
A very clean, peaceful guest house. There was nothing to dislike about this property.
- Mark (8/5): -
- Anthony (8/5): -
- Pauline (8/5): Amazing freshly-cooked breakfast! - Good location for visiting family
- Catherine (10/5): A wonderful welcome and perfect for a short stay! - The location was great, hosts were so friendly and hospitable, The room was immaculate. I couldn't ask for a better experience! I wish I could have tried the breakfast but I had to leave early. It smelled amazing!
- Adam (9/5): - Friendly welcome, comfortable bed, and really good breakfast. Excellent value and highly recommended
- Gillian (10/5): Pleasantly surprised by a beautiful property with excellent breakfast. - I was really happy with the size of the room, and cleanliness. We were greeted on arrival, and shown to our rooms. Everything was explained clearly, and pleasantly. There was plenty of beverages including water bottles. The area was lovely and very quiet. Ample parking, and a beautiful breakfast. There was nothing that I didn’t like.
- Jackie (10/5): One night in Telford - Welcome was very friendly as I had driven myself up there from Kent. Room very comfortable, I had upgraded to a double bed, shower was hot and plentiful. Breakfast was outstanding. Slight mould in the bathroom
- Mark (9/5): - Great breakfast, lovely host, comfortable beds.
- Karen (10/5): - Location, nice size room and ensuite.
Great breakfast
- Dale (8/5): Can't fault it for the price and a good breakfast included. Good location for Lilleshall - Decent location for Lilleshall, about 15-20 mins away. Room was clean, just a bit dated but did its job for a night. Bathroom was fine and shower was decent with plenty of hot water. Nice quiet room and plenty big enough for 1 person. Breakfast was on time and well cooked. Private parking at the rear is very handy if carrying sports gear etc. Host was friendly and welcoming. Coop right across the street and takeaways nearby. Would stay again if in the area. Not a lot, furniture in room is a bid dated but functional. Corridor creaks a lot outside room 5 so if a light sleeper maybe avoid that one.
- christine (9/5): - As usual the accommodation was clean, well presented and excellent value for money.
We come here every year whilst on a work trip and always look forward to staying.
The facilities and breakfast are always excellent
- Kevin (10/5): - The breakfast was amazing and the staff superb. This is the fifth time I have been back and will go again next year. I would highly recommend to anyone
- Steven (7/5): -
- Cook (10/5): -
- Clive (8/5): -
- Pete (8/5): All fine, weather was rubbish but that's not their fault! - Excellent breakfast. Liked the form you had to hand in the night before where you could say what you wanted to eat etc. Would have been nice to be able turn the radiators on when we arrived in the room as the weather was cold-ish (much colder in Telford late September than where we'd travelled from). Maybe they turn their heating on later in the year.
