Power outlets inside lockers, storage for dirty shoes, place to hang your wet towel, laundry... Everything was top notch and they offer a variety of things to do. - Shirley (10/5): Excellent super friendly service - This is the best service we have experienced in 4 months travel, they are so helpful. You get your own labelled fridge space for each room, a drinks fridge to help yourself to, run on an honesty system. They have good value tours with pick up from the hostal. Great breakfast as well!

Tout le monde est incroyablement gentil et serviable, et que dire de Carlos… un immense merci à lui pour son aide avec mes lunettes. En effet, après avoir prolongé plusieurs fois, j’ai quand même du partir pour le Guatemala, mais sans mes lunettes de soleil !!! Carlos a prit le temps de m’aider avec beaucoup de gentillesse et de bienveillance, ça m’a vraiment rendu service. Grace à son organisation et sa gentillesse, j’ai donc pu récupérer mes lunettes au Guatemala :) Des personnes comme lui rendent l’expérience encore plus mémorable, et je dirai même rend le monde meilleur ! L’hostel est calme avec de supers voyageurs et super hôtes! Les dortoirs sont super bien agencés et les petits déjeuners sont succulents ! Tout était vraiment parfait La difficulté de partir …
- Anna (10/5): Little ideally located place of great value - A fantastic hostel with great location and services. The owner Carlos is an amazing hardworking host! This is an example of a hostel that actually cares about its guests. And you can save tons of money booking tours directly through Casa Verde instead of paying for expensive tours online. Private transportation to Santa Ana volcano and back costs only 20 dollars, and they offer many other things too. Still water is free at the property. Staff is extremely friendly. A great view of the city from a terrace that serves food and drinks. Beds do not have any sheets/blankets to cover at night and there are no towels provided, but a lot of hostels in the country are like that.

They made it so easy and seamless, all with a smile and treat you like family. I could not recommend this place more. The dorms were clean, well maintained and had hot water. The bar/ restaurant areas are amazing with great food and a terrace area and they have amazing tours available! 10000000000/10! Thanks so much! Nothing. Everything was amazing.

- Carlos (10/5): Sensação de estar em casa - O melhor Hostal que já fiquei na minha vida. Chuveiro sensacional, energia do local ótima, o meu xará é muito comunicativo e ajuda com tudo. Não precisa agendar nenhum tour com antecedência porque dá pra fazer tudo por meio do hostal. O café da manhã todo dia muda, ele tenta fazer comidas típicas com ovo, vem feito no prato mas pode repetir se ficar com fome. Tem um bar anexo ao Hostal que pertence ao Carlos com comida variada, de camarão a massas e tudo é muito bom e Os drinks são sensacionais. O hostal disponibiliza freezer para cada quarto onde vc pode guardar algo que comprou e precisa armazenar, só não pode bebida alcoólica. Local muito tranquilo, é proibido festa, depois das 10pm tem que manter silêncio. Tem uma piscina boa pra quem quer relaxar pós passeios. A sensação foi de que eu estava em casa com a interação que tinha com os outros hóspedes.
- Christian (9/5): Don‘t look much further, this is your Hostel in Santa Ana. - Plus, plus, plus: Most everything in this hostel is excellent. A few aspect worth pointing out: The house including the pool, attentive staff, the breakfast varies from day to day, no mosquitos despite pool and courtyard, a mini bar next to the reception and an attached restaurant / wine bar. Minus: The bed was of mediocre quality. Plus/Minus: Maybe the host (I think his name was Carlos) pays a bit too much attention to the guests – always, everywhere – but others might say that‘s perfect and it can‘t ever be too much.

- Belinda (10/5): - Excellent. I extended my stay due to Easter. Stayed in private for 7 nights . Water was hot, bed was comfy. Staff and venue are excellent. Highly reccomend🙏 Rooftop is amazing to chill . They dont really like anyone talking after 10pm. That part was weird. Lucky for us the restaurant was closed during Easter so we did a couple of 11/12 pm ish on the roof, we was super quiet and respectful. If you are a smoker you have the roof or the street. Pillows were hard 😴

- Jerome (10/5): J ai beaucoup voyagé (6mois par an depuis 23 ans), et c est une des Guesthouse s que je me souviendrai - Franchement, tout….. tout est pensé pour les voyageurs, ce qu on besoin les voyageurs lors d une halte d un ou plusieurs jours….. Carlos le patron et son personnel souriant sont aux petits soins pour nous…. Le déjeuner du matin (oui, parce que en Suisse on dit déjeuner pour le matin ☺️) est top, les dortoirs sont top, les espaces communs avec tables sièges et hamacs sont top, et la petite piscine pour se rafraîchir top…. Et que dire du bar resto, avec des petits plats mélangé de Salvador, Italie, Grèce et peut être pleins d autres pays, avec sa terrasse sur toit avec vue sur les collines et la montagne….. à la fin de mon séjour au Salvador j y retournerai c est sur Rien

- Cesca (10/5): Lives up to the hype - Best hostel we’ve stayed at in Central America. We had a private room & bathroom and it was spacious and super comfortable. The shower is so good - HOT and high pressure - I miss it already! The included breakfast is delicious and different everyday. The attached resto / wine bar serves great food. And to make your own food, you get a dedicated fridge space and a big kitchen to work with. Carlos and his team are all wonderful. 10/10 would stay again!

We had access to a swimming pool, breakfast was included, and there's a restaurant right on the hostel (the food is delicious). The staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and always available. Carlos is an amazing and very welcoming host, available on WhatsApp almost all the time, and always ready to help us find assistance with our activities and upcoming destinations. I recommend this hostel to anyone who wants to stay in Santa Ana.
- Françoise (8/5): Great stay, but a bit less social. - Very clean and comfortable. Good comfortable bed and pillow. Hammocks in the courtyard, swimmingpool (you need it in this hot city), breakfast included. Kitchen with literally everything! (Discovered to late). Many rules.. Good to have them, but it was not allowed to play a game with my friend who stayed somewhere else. Which is a bit to strict I think.
- Simon (7/5): - Stauraum und Zimmeraufteilung gut durchdacht. Viel Platz und sehr sauber. Eigener Platz im Kühlschrank. Man kann dort direkt Vulkan + See transport buchen. Ich musste früh morgens auschecken, am Vorabend war aber kein Mitarbeiter zu finden, weswegen ich das Geld (zu viel, da ich es nicht passend hatte) im Zimmer liegen ließ. Auch wurde ohne zu Fragen etwas aus meinem Kühlschrank entfernt. Viele "Verbotsschilder".

- Stephanie (10/5): Wonderful hostel in Santa Ana! - Homemade breakfast every day was delicious. They offer a good size and clean kitchen guests can use, as well as a dedicated refrigerator space where you can put some items that need to be refrigerated. They also have water and beer for sale, and sometimes offer a cooked dinner for guests (for an extra charge). The hostel has a small pool, indoor patio, hammocks, a couch and board games for guests to use. It also offers backpack storage for those who need it. The experiences offered by the hostel were an added bonus. They offered transportation to tourist destinations such as the Ruta de las Flores, Santa Ana volcano and Lake Coatapeque. Going with other hostel guests made it memorable. The owner Carlos is very nice and is flexible, he helped arrange transportation from the airport and then onward to the next destination, which was much appreciated. The room was quiet and comfortable, and had a small lockbox to store valuables, as well as some shelves to place items. Another added bonus is the hostel’s rooftop terrace. It offers views of the church and local landscape, and was a perfect spot to sit and relax outside. I would definitely recommend this hostel, and appreciate that they had rules for quiet hours, no outside visitors and no smoking. Everything was good. No complaints.

Tours offered are good and price (of tours and accommodation) is more than adequate. The courtyard area and pool is a nice place to hang out and meet other travellers. The staff were all very friendly and Carlos was helpful with helping us book tours and transfers. The breakfast included changes daily and were very enjoyable! The shared kitchen is very well equipped and the each room has a shelf in a fridge. Really well run hostel and would recommend to other travellers! Intermittent hot water at times

No curtains on beds but it feel private enough Big bathroom with plenty of hot water ( the only place I stayed in El Salvador where they had hot water) Super friendly staff and very nice vibe where it’s easy to meet other travellers. Big and very clean kitchen if you want to cook your own meals. You even get your own fridge shelf

- Dánae (8/5): - El personal, muy dedicado y excelente. El desayuno, cada día diferente y con opción vegetariana. Las instalaciones, bonitas y tranquilas. La limpieza. El único pero que puedo ponerle es que mi habitación salía del patio y había ruido a partir de que comenzaba la hora del desayuno (6.30h), pero el segundo día me adecué a ese horario. Está a 10 minutos de la plaza principal, pero Santa Ana es muy seguro y no hay problema.
- Laurens (10/5): Fantastisch - Dit is een hostel welke alles in de puntjes heeft uitgewerkt. Zeer sociaal maar geen party hostel. Iets wat ik erg waardeerde. Prijs-kwaliteit dik in orde. Personeel begroet je altijd. Erg vriendelijk! Het enige minpunt is dat je weinig privacy hebt in de gedeelde slaapzaal (geen gordijntjes aanwezig).

- Giulio (10/5): A great hostel with amazing staff, excellent value for money, and a perfect mix of comfort - This hostel truly exceeded my expectations. It’s located in a central area and offers everything you could ask for: bar, pool, great common areas, and a very welcoming atmosphere. The girls in the kitchen are incredibly kind and friendly, and the breakfast is fantastic to start the day. The price is excellent, the beds are very comfortable, and the Wi-Fi works really well. It’s also a great place to work, both indoors and outdoors, with hammocks and beautiful vintage decorations that give the hostel a unique charm. There was a small issue with the water during the week, but overall it didn’t affect the stay much and everything was handled well.
- Maxi (10/5): Jeden Penny wert und absolut empfehlenswert - Warmwasserdusche, bequeme Betten, Regal zu jedem Bett, Haken im Bad mit Bettzuordnung. Super Küche, super Frühstück, super Hängematten, super hilfsbereites Personal. Ich war krank und Marco hat mir sofort Bonbons, Sirup und Tee gegeben. Außerdem hat er mir einen super hilfreichen Arzt vermittelt. Absolut gar nichts.

- Raquel (10/5): - Really cute and comfortable hostel! Very good location (far enough from the center to be away from the noise, but close enough to walk). The beds were very comfortable, with much space to pack everything. The shower had hot water and amazing pressure (which I have found to be rare). The staff was super nice and helpful, and the breakfast (always different) was so good too! Really really recommend Even though it was comfortable, the beds had little privacy (I stayed in the 4 bed female dorm). Not a huge issue but something to be noticed
- julie (10/5): - Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits dans l'hostel en chambre double (2 lits doubles séparés). Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Casa Verde. Le personnel est d'une grande gentillesse, le petit déjeuner est exceptionnel et change tous les matins et le cadre est superbe. Tout est pensé pour se sentir bien et autonome. Voilà un vrai hostel comme on les aime.

- Antoinette (10/5): - Alles inkl. Zimmer und Pool sind blitzblank sauber. Abwechslungsreiches Frühstück. Zu Fuß ca. 10 Minuten ins Zentrum, haben uns sehr sicher gefühlt. Personal sehr hilfsbereit und offen. Haben täglich angebotene Tour auf Vulkan Santa Ana und anschließen den See im Hostal für 20 $ gebucht, war auch ganz toll und klappt wunderbar

- Maxime (9/5): Great stay in Santa Ana - The hostel was really great! We had a double room with private bathroom, very spacious. The staff was really friendly. The breakfast was great, the on site bar as well, with good prices. The pool was nice and refreshing. The hostel is located right in the centre of Santa Ana. Tours were provided in the hostel, e.g. to climb the Santa Ana Volcano.
- Hans (10/5): - Leuk hostel en erg compleet qua voorzieningen. Wij hadden 2 privé kamers. Deze waren ruim opgezet en voorzien van een nette badkamer. Het centrum is vanaf het hostel uitstekend te voet te bereiken.
- Yana (10/5): Highly recommended in Santa Ana - Absolutely fantastic: great private rooms, excellent showers, really welcoming staff and amazing breakfast: I stayed for three nights and got a different breakfast every day. Strong WiFi. No noise after 10pm — it’s the most perfect place to stay in Santa Ana. Everything was great and they are building a cafe too

- Polina (10/5): Best hostel ever - Very clean, it iwas thought about everything. The value is in the details! Safe box with key, a towel, great breakfast - everyday something different, the best stuff ever - helpful and friendly!
- Alan (10/5): - A really high end hostel. Very modern facilities with amazing traditional touches. Room was large with 2 double beds & private bathroom with great hot shower. AC and some English movies were a bonus. Restaurant was good and reasonably priced and the included breakfast with coffee and juice very tasty. Honesty fridge and personal shelf also very useful. Carlos the owner and staff very friendly. Carlos showed us the roof terrace almost refurbished with 360 views. Had a fantastic stay in a very sociable but quiet location. Better than most of the hotels we have stayed at.
- Charlotte (10/5): Heerlijk verblijf & fantastisch ontbijt - Heel vriendelijke mensen. Het ontbijt was heerlijk. Ze bieden verschillende tours aan. De bedden zijn goed & handig kastje om alle spullen op te bergen. Persoonlijke locker. In de mixed dorm is er een badkamer voor mannen & vrouwen apart. De dorms hebben geen gordijntjes voor privacy aan het bed dus je slaapt open en bloot en vrij dicht bij de buren.

The breakfast is delicious and the ladies in the kitchen are so friendly and kind. Great pool, facilities and organized set up! Amazing shared kitchen!! We got there after dark and missed the entrance. It could be marked a little bigger.
