Guest Reviews
- David (6/5): The Titan. - The shower
Nice chap issued key. Box room dimensions.
Restaurant closed.
Basic accommodation, reflected in price.

- gary (3/5): Poor experience - The single bed was comfy Unfortunately I was told after booking that the pub was closed so no dinner or breakfast available. That was the least of my problems. I couldn't get in as there were no staff around. A phone number on the door to call which put you through to an AI, you then have to guess what the magic word is to progress anywhere. Unfortunately the magic word wasn't any of these- check in, reception, front desk, get in my room, speak to someone, I have a room booked, I need to get in, I have a booking. So you're basically stuck unless you know exactly what to say.
Ended up banging on windows to get someone's attention as at this point you are locked out. I was met with someone who was unfortunately to say, a bit cocky and not particularly helpful or apologetic.
Room is tiny too, TV didn't have many channels. Just not good enough regardless of the price.

- Magnus (6/5): -
- Nick (9/5): Excellent - Good clean tidy Nothing
- Dan (8/5): Very happy - Great location for me, exactly what I needed, quiet room Friday and Saturday night. Didn't hear the pub, staff very helpful when needed Nothing really.
- Haldane (10/5): -
- Janet (10/5): Wonderful - Fantastic- fulfilled all expectations. Staff were all outstanding - helpful, pleasant, felt like staying with family. That it might not be available in the future.
- Daniel (10/5): Fabulous best money for value - Staff clean easy access and parking Peace and quiet
- Stuart (7/5): Good value for overnight stay - Good location for us
Spacious room
Quiet
Parking
Food available on site
Friendly staff Could do with a refresh, two chairs needed rather than one, mirror and plug needed at desk/dressing table for hair/make up
- Jim (5/5): - The staff and i had a decent greek salad The room was tiny
- WG (8/5): - The staff were very pleasant and helpful..
The food was very good and the drinks were reasonably priced. The room was very clean The outside of the hotel could do with painting it would make it more appealing.
The room although very clean and roomy could do with upgrading especially the shower.Thete were also various gaps under window sills and in the bathroom that could do with filing.
- Steele (10/5): - Great value Staff 3
- Jill (10/5): Most enjoyable and relaxing - Enjoyed having some me time, shopping, eating and drinking! Enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant and a bottle of prosecco! There was nothing that I didn't like. The hotel does not do breakfast but I took a trip into town and discovered a lovely cafe.
- Tony (9/5): -
- David (7/5): Would use again - Central, very pleasant staff and easy check in
- Guest (9/5): -
- Shirley (8/5): Comfortable bed, good value, clean bathroom. - It is a bit “tired” , but clean and good value. Going up the stairs is a bit of a challenge when jet lagged.
- Jacqueline (4/5): - we have stayed her many times probably 5 times a year was disappointed that they have took the breakfast off also the showered door in our room was hanging off location
- Wiktoria (9/5): -
- Mcinally (5/5): Basic over priced - The location was directly on the a82 with a good resteraunt I went to pay 75 pound for the room as I always wanted to try that particulate hotel but never got around to it till the 12 of April 2026. I found the bed annoying. It was a large bed but was two singles pushed together. If there was a mattress topper on the bed it wouldn't have been so bad but the joint in the middle was uncomfortable. The mattresses themselves felt like a bag of springs, .the decor was basic and the bathroom wast that great it had remnants of a past curtain rail still sticking out of the celin where the shower was but it had a very small ( as lmost trip hazard ) shower gate. On the us side it had a disabled seat. The toilet was huge and would definitely fit a bath in it and have a large amount of room in it still.
The windows were old double glazing and it didn't really do much to stop the noise from outside . The room had very basic equipment in it. And had two bath towels placed in a doorles wardrop framealtbough the room was seventy pound a night with no bed n breakfast option and ann11 am exit time it would go to or a bed just to sleep in. I still don't think it was worth the price. For the same price I could have had a room at the 4 star clydside jubilee hospital.... Which will be my next option
- Oscar Alberto (9/5): Piacevole - Posizione , pulizia ,servizio ristorazione Stanza piccola ma nient altro
- Robert (4/5): - Location suited our purpose They no longer offer breakfast
- Robert (3/5): Poor not acceptable For a hotel room . - The bar and restaurant was ok Poor quality rooms shower door broken no one to complain to on desk .
Rodent trap bait under one of the single beds in the twin room not acceptable no one there on check out from GK
- Redmond (8/5): Really enjoyable and the services on site were good - The restaurant food was really enjoyable and the hotel location was good as well Never got breakfast as it was at 10am, thought you could consider arranging breakfast prior to, not sure about saying could you arrange breakfast only before arriving.
- Helen (10/5): - Staff very welcome and friendly
- Barry (10/5): -
- Lesley (4/5): - The parking is close The room i was given was kitted out with disabled facilities, had an extra room, obviously intended for a carer, with just 2 bed side cabinets in no bed. It looked like I was just shoved in the only available room. Although it was clean it was very poorly kept with curtains hanging off rail.
- McCormick (3/5): Tired, tatty and poor facilities..... - Not a lot as there were many issues with this booking 😒 The room was not as advertised as it was an assisted double room which wasn't what we booked, adjoining room was draughty and had damaged furniture in it and a broken blind. None of the curtains in either room were hanging properly on the rail as it was falling off it's fixings. The sink was so small it was almost unusable and impossible to fill the kettle from. Room situated next to stairs so very noisy. Asked to move rooms as soon as we arrived but was told no other double availability for our stay. The restaurant had no working grill on the first evening of our stay so a good percentage of the restaurant menu was unavailable due to the kitchen staff unable to cook items such as steak etc. The staff were unaware whether they would have all the availability of items fir breakfast in the morning either ( on site food was part of the reason we booked this hotel so not best pleased at this issue). Very noisy on Saturday night until nearly 1am. Overall extremely disappointed. 😠
- ESRAA SAMY MAHMOUD (7/5): - الطاقم محترم والمكان نظيف و قيمة مقابل سعر الطاقم مش بيبقى موجود الصبح وقت ال check out بدري
- Miguel (6/5): Great value - Bar Attached Narrow rooms
- Aiebee-Iberedem Nkereuwem (7/5): -
- bill (10/5): Very short stay but ideal for my visit - Very clean, facilities ideal for my one night stay. Food in bar was very good. Nothing springs to mind
- Charlotte (5/5): Lack of communication from staff - Great location for what we needed No staff working over night. There were other guests partying all night which kept my daughter up all night. There’s no staff that work on reception. You need to collect your key in the bar. We were told breakfast was at 10am and came down to a sign up on the door saying 11am opening and Mother’s Day bookings only so had to find somewhere else to go.
- Steve (9/5): Good value overall - Comfortable room. Breakfast on Booking.com says 8.00 to 11.00. Breakfast available from 10.00
- Deseada (8/5): -
- Issa (5/5): - Comfortable and clean They gave me a wrong room as i booked twin bed , however the gave me room 8 which was single bed.
There was no staff
The bathroom roof full of mold
- Natalja (6/5): -

- Mohammed (8/5): Good food , helpful staff -
- phil (9/5): - Location was good for all my needs really friendly staff, late check in was excellent and well covered, food was very good with great service. Friends who came to visit found a hair in the coleslaw while we ate there.the fire door slamming at all times of the night with people coming and going at 0130,0200.0400 and 0630 most nights were the same
- Dow (8/5): - Closeness to clydebank food excellent 👌 lady in dining room fantastic other staff not so in dining room Nothing

- Nichola (7/5): Decent enough for a cheap room - Nice big room and comfy bed, staff at night were lovely and helpful. Great price for the room so decent value for money. It was a room to lay down in as we were at a party locally and it was perfect for that. Vending machine in lobby a great idea for when bar is closed. Room was too hot and couldn't open a window to cool down (even in January) Safety window which is understandable but what is available is a small window and only way to let air in is to keep curtain open however, its a huge window which people can see straight in. We turned the radiator off on arrival and was still very warm on our return later in the night.
Breakfast although not included in the price was not nice, cold beans, meat that looked reheated several times, although cheap we'd expect better. Staff also seemed less interested or even aware of the breakfast offers on the menu and we were charged slightly differently than expected. We didn't mention this however as it was after paying and getting food we realised and staff seemed new maybe and we do understand.
We'd stay again but definitely would go elsewhere for breakfast.
- Jack (8/5): - Friendly staff ,comfortable basic room thought I had booked a double got a twin. To lock my door couldn't see the lock had to walk to the end of the corridor to access light then go back to my room
- Andrew (10/5): -
- Claire (9/5): Nice place, friendly staff. - Nice tidy warm rooms good price friendly staff. Good location easy to get to. Plenty of parking. Breakfast menu could be better.
- Robert (8/5): -
- Pamela (7/5): - Convenient Sunday roast wasn't all home made, mainly frozen items
- Tony (8/5): -
- Fae (10/5): Absolutely fabulous place, the staff were so incredibly friendly, the manger Thomas was particularly helpful and made us - Comfortable room and bed (although on the small side), blackout curtains were so helpful. I fell out of the bed lol
- Anthony (4/5): -
- Kerry (10/5): Great - Great hotel, real value for money - you know what you are getting for the price. Room a wee bit tired but bedding and shower very clean. Food and drink also great value for money. Room a bit tired that's all.
- Peter (5/5): Used the Hotel before and no doubt will again. However, breakfast timing is not idea. - Good location, reasonable price. Breakfast starting at 10:00 is no use to travellers (nor I believe workers staying local).
- Adrienne (1/5): nightmare, disgusting - nothing, awful rundown room with plenty of mould and peeling paint off the walls. Smelllt dirty and dusty. There was not enough signal to operate the TV and it kept losing signal and turned itself off, no WIFI. Room 2- awful rundown room with plenty of mould and peeling paint off the walls. Smelllt dirty and dusty. There was not enough signal to operate the TV and it kept losing signal and turned itself off, no WIFI.
- Tyler (10/5): Defo be back to stay again sometime! - The staff were lovely and amazing Nothing
- Isobel (3/5): I wouldn’t consider staying again unless there was a complete refurbishment. - Location was good The room was clean but was needing decorated.
The restaurant did not offer breakfast until 10AM which was too late for us.
- Aamir (10/5): -
- Kamal (4/5): Not happy. - First, double room was switched to single rooms. The trim I am my wife stayed was a room for disability people. The bathroom was not adequate for us to use.
Too noisy at night as it was too close to the main road.
Wouldn’t book again and would not recommend family and friends.
Disappointing.
- Sean (7/5): Reasonable prices. Reasonable hotel - Clean. Bar and restaurant on site.
- Paul (1/5): Would recommend it for a meal but don’t stay here. - Only thing that went well was the meal in the restaurant The room was awful. Very small and needed updating. The bathroom was disgusting with black mould in the shower. Large spider in the shower which had cobwebs all over so must have been there a while! Needless to say we didn’t shower.
- Michael (7/5): Lovely jubilee - Nice breakfast, and dinner top marks
- Nicola (7/5): -
- Nicola (8/5): -
- Luke (10/5): Excellent value for money - The amenities and the cleanliness of the establishment. All staff were lovely friendly, great time keeping skills. I will return .
- Elizabeth (8/5): Overall it was very pleasant and staff were most helpful - Breakfast was lovely, staff really made you feel welcome, treated you like family. Room a bit small and bed a little small
- Stu (10/5): -
- Kirsteen (8/5): Bargain hotel but still good! - Attended a birthday party in the same place so it was perfect for our needs. Bed was really comfortable and huge! Room was huge as well with an extra room that could have been used as another bedroom too. Great value for money and would use again. We really weren't expecting much for the price we paid so we were over the moon. Room was basic but didn't need anything fancy. Shower was really good but the stand for it was faulty so it worked fine for me but when my partner used it, it kept falling down.
- Amy (8/5): -
- Fiona McArthur (8/5): Excellent, central hotel - Friendly staff, nothing was a bother to help us. Comfortable rooms, very clean. No available breakfast before check out time
- Josephine (7/5): Cheap & cheerful - Great value for money with on-site restaurant. Room was too hot!
- Helen (1/5): - I enjoyed the dinner with my friends but sadly due to lack of Guest Care (see below) I won’t be going back! I stayed for one night and my friends joint me for dinner and drinks which was very good. However, I went downstairs the next morning for breakfast and the whole place was in darkness and doors locked! I couldn’t believe it felt very uneasy as I couldn’t access front door.II packed my bag and went out the fire escape door on the ground floor. I went back in the afternoon to l see the manager and her response was that was the normal procedure as we don’t open till 9am. I asked her why that information wasn’t given to me on arrival, and just got “sorry about that! Health and Safety plus Guest safety in question?
- Diane (7/5): Cheap, clean and lovely staff - Staff lovely. Comfortable bed. Large room. Very clean. Close to the Golden Jubilee hospital. Inexpensive. Room needing redecorating and updating. Someone smoking (possibly outside as windows were slightly open) and it smelled strongly in the room.
- Colin (8/5): Wasted by the heating noise. - It was very clean and comfortable. Good location for the golden jubilee. Food was great at the bar. Had an issue with loud noise that was coming from heating and couldn’t find anyone around to resolve the issue. The noise went on at night and was constant through the night. Felt comfortable but wasted our stay.

- mullen (9/5): Delivered exactly what it said on the tin. Excellent no frills value, very pleasant staff - Right from check in the staff were extremely helpful & informative, even upon leaving ,the room maid asked if I'd enjoyed my stay & took my key. Plenty of space to park & free - bonus. Excellent value. I didn't eat there there but there were gluten free options. Room clean & tidy. Excellent value The decor in the room was a bit tired but given the price that could easily be overlooked
- Hendrie (7/5): - The location of the hotel near local buses meals are good value for money Was there in Aug the room I was allocated had no working TV was there for 3 nights but couldn't do anything about it but got refund went this time and checked tv as soon as I got in and it wasn't working was going to leave but the house keeper actually got me moved into a other room the woman in the restaurant said nothing she could do about it she tried that the last time too but I spoke to the manageress and she was so nice about it but it was the actual housekeeper that resolved things this time
- Davie (10/5): - Great staff quiet room
