Please note, the property is not regularly staffed. Guests are required to inform the property in advance of their check-in times. Please note, last check-in is at 20:00. Guests may not be able to check-in after this time. Please contact the property for details.
Guests with a tattoo may not be permitted to enter public bathing areas and other public facilities.
From December 15th to March 1st, it often snows in the area around our ranch.
When visiting our ranch during the winter, we recommend installing snow tires.

Information on the facility's barrier-free accessibility measures
1. to reduce the distance for guest who is lacking physical strength , we have secured a space where guests can move their cars right in front of their guest rooms.
2. by preparing writing tablets for hearing-impaired guests, we provide written information on our facilities when requested by guests.
3. we will ensure that visually impaired guests are given explanations using the clock position when meals are served to them.

- Aron (9/5): We are city folks from Singapore, and staying in this countryside is truly an unforgettable experience. It felt like the - There is a cowboy and cowgirl onsen for guests to use, which is a distance away from our room. Although the temperature was near zero that evening, the yukata and the Mizuno robe provided was surprisingly able to keep the cold weather out as we walked to the onsen. And we were blessed with clear sky that night, which we were able to enjoy the starry sky. There is electric bed or blanket provided on our bed, and it’s the first time I tried using it. Don’t set the thermostat to the highest, as it could get quite warm under the blanket. There’s little to dislike about this place. My family of 6 pax loved it.

The price is a little high for what you get, especially if you don't do horseback riding. The location is a little out of the way, but maybe that adds to the charm for some people. The room key is very big, it would be nice if they had key cards instead of a block of wood attached to a key.

The availability of horseback riding throughout the valley was the primary reason for our selection of El Patio. The horseback riding experience was terrific. The room was large, modern, clean and very comfortable and with a nice "Western" theme style. The personnel were all very friendly and helpful. The food was adequate, but not fantastic. The Dinner salad and chili were very good. The dinner "hamburger" was like an average meatloaf and the accompanying vegetables were bland.
- Ethel (10/5): Exceptional - We wanted to check out Kusasenrigahama, hike the Kuju Mountains and then go to Kurokawa Onsen Town, and this was the perfect spot for the first leg of our trip because it is so convenient to the Makinoto Pass Trailhead. The room itself is spacious and peaceful, with large windows overlooking green rolling hills. Beds are so comfy, including the duvet and cover. There was a long desk along the windows, great if you need to do some work or writing. The staff is great, and the western style of the restaurant and lobby is fun.

It’s quiet and feels connected to the environment. The horses and the stables gave the whole place a rustic and Western vibe. The food was warm and hearty, perfect for cold winter nights. The staff were so kind and helpful, they were worried my rental car did not have winter tires (I stayed during a snow storm) and went to lengths notifying me in advance and making sure I would be safe driving on the roads.

- Liyan (10/5): - This is a great place to stay, it is up at the hill, surrounded by field and hills, a very relaxing place to stay for holiday, the best thing is you can ride horses there, the horse riding experience was amazing! Riding your own horse jogging at the hills. We were a bit surprised when we arrived and the staff told us there is no bath in the room, but then here is another surprise, there is hot spring in the public bathroom, it is a good one! We enjoyed staying here so much and highly recommended. We stayed in the room with the mountain view, so nice!
- Chun Mo Joe (6/5): A overpriced farm house - You should better take it as a farm house rather than a hotel. The price is seem overly charged. The service is good.
- wing shing (8/5): 感受原野風光 - 適合喜歡原始郊外生活的人，感覺遠離繁囂也是喜歡騎馬的人首選晚餐是自助燒烤也很特別食物也很好吃
- yilin (8/5): 享受悠閒的旅店 - 在山上特別偏僻 四處都沒有任何商店 晚餐只提供到4點 需自行帶食物免得肚子餓沒東西吃 洗澡有分時間可以兩人一起洗 6點半後就變男女分開浴室
- Verified traveler (10/5): A special experience in the wild - The environment around is spectacular. Numerous stars can be seen at night. Staff are nice and friendly, even the dogs there are welcoming.

- WINGS (6/5): - The buildings are a little bit old, need to renovation somehow. But the staffs are nice ppl & make you comfort & welcome.
- Carol (8/5): Somewhere a bit different in Aso - The El Patio Ranch is perched high on the caldera rim with great views towards the active volcanoes, some distance away. We didn't participate in the horse activities that take place at the ranch, preferring to explore the geopark. The Ranch was a great place to return in the evening.
- Homer (6/5): Nice and quiet - It's a ranch and it's quiet during our stay. Definitely you will need to have a car tho drive here. The owner speaks pretty good English and very helpful too.
