• Candace (1/5): Over Charges under delivery - Nothing call said internet was down and so was the pool charge for a stay after canceling staff unhelpful
• Amber (5/5): - The rooms were nice and clean. I booked this specific hotel for their pool for my niece to have a fun pool to play in. Upon arrival we were told the pool chemicals were off and that they were treating it and it would be open at 6:00 pm. We arrived back to the hotel around 9:00pm and asked about the pool and was told it would be closed the entire weekend. This hotel was over $100.00 more than the average hotel in the area. I wish now I wouldn't of spent the extra money to stay there for their pool. Also the room across from us had a dog staying in it as well (which is fine) however when we went to our room for the first time the dog started barking and scratching on the door. Scared the mess out of my niece and I. From that point on the dog continued to bark for the next 3 hours. I did report this to the hotel and they did take care of this issue.

• pennyg598 (10/5): Very nice place to stay with you dog - I stayed here with my 2 little dogs and this place did not disappoint! The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly. I like their little patio area for sitting with my dogs. I was impressed with the large grassy area they have for your dog. It is very well lit and I felt safe walking outside around the property by myself. The area of town was nice and had lots of different places to eat close by. I especially liked the gas prices in this town!

• Txpr (8/5): Great stay! - Nice, clean hotel. We checked in after midnight after trying to find a place to stay. Joy was working the front desk and she was FANTASTIC!! So friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and clean. The beds are a little too hard for us, but if you like hard beds, this is for you! The shower has great pressure, but the water wasn’t very hot. We would definitely stay here again. I do wish they had free breakfast though. It’s a nice location, not too far from the highway.

Charges disclosed after booking. $9 a day to park in a regular parking lot. Nothing but coffee was free including water in your room. No way to get water but faucet or buy it at their little store. I felt like the franchise is all about money.

• Barbara (9/5): Watch out for hidden parking lot charge. - The very friendly staff and easy check in. The parking lot charge!!! It is a regular parking lot and was full of snow and ice. No one cleared it and we are charged a fee to park! Did not know this until sent a welcome email. No reason for the charge. Everything costs extra in room so beware.

We filled out all the information, only to be told at the end of the application that room was no longer available. Called the number provided only to find that only a lesser room was available and at nearly twice the price as previously posted. When we said we wanted to cancel, operator was extremely rude. told us "yeah, yeah, yeah whatever" and hung up. And still charged us for the room on our Capital One Card, I am a long time member of Hilton Honors - not impressed. Craig Lawlis

• Al (8/5): - Cleanliness, location, price were all great The night / evening staff was very nice, professional acting and professional looking. The day staff did not have a professional (Hilton) demeanor. The stand alone shower had no hot water.
• Larry S (9/5): I would definitely recommend to future travelers. - The facility was very up-to-date. The room was spacious. the AC & heat worked great, with a good frig, microwave and coffee maker. The decor was nice. The hamburger and fries at the Bar and Grill were very good as was the breakfast buffet. The streaming on the free tv (ABC) was not working correctly-Kept freezing up. The bed had a loose spring on one side. The bathroom sink was set too far back as we could not reach over enough to use it.

• Sherpa10717146233 (10/5): A Very Nice Place To Stay - We were traveling to visit friends in AK. We left much later than planned and made it to Longview about 10 pm. The reviews talked about wet carpets and other things. We weren’t going to be there long and have Hilton points so decided to stay here. It’s beautiful. It’s very clean and bright. The staff were very friendly. They have the usual free continental breakfast with omelette but also have a menu you can order from. We will stay here again if we return to Longview

• Shanna (10/5): Great Experience - We stayed here with our two dogs when we were in town for a dog competition. We chose this hotel because it was pet-friendly, and we were able to reserve a large suite so that the fur babies would have more room to spread out. The room was very large and nice. The bed was comfortable. The interior of the hotel was clean and nice. We ate dinner at the restaurant, and it was good. We did, however, choose not to eat there for breakfast because the buffet offering did not seem worth the $12/person pricetag. I didn't take advantage of the pool this time, but the fact that it had an indoor pool was a very nice feature. We would definitely stay here again.

• Michael (10/5): - It is great that this is a pet friendly hotel. It’s rare that you have top tier quality accommodations that allow this. The coffee in the morning is phenomenal but I would like to have seen a complimentary continental breakfast or breakfast option at time of booking. Regardless, this will be the place we stay when going through east Texas.
• BigMeatball (8/5): Good, not perfect, with a very annoying parking fee - The hotel is decent, but probably not worth much of a premium over other choices in the area. I’d stay again if the price is competitive. The pros are that it is clean and in a good area. The negatives are that the first floor is loud as the sounds from the lobby travel right to the rooms, the amenities usually provided are, well, grudgingly provided. Coffee runs out, kcup machine is broken, desk staff is challenged at times. And most annoyingly, they tack on a $7 parking fee….this is just a regular parking lot in a suburban area. Not a parking garage or anything like that.

• R6027KPpatrickm (4/5): Stay away at all costs - I stayed at the hotel for a couple of nights for work recently. I stay at Hilton brands the majority of time if it is in my control. I really like the chain for reliability. This hotel however should not bear the Hilton brand. This might be on par with a Days Inn or Quality from the 90's. It was a very poor remodel of a hotel. The walls were dirty everywhere, half the lights did not work, none of the outlets worked, the shower drain would not stay open longer than 10 seconds, the handrail in the shower was falling off and there were pubic hairs on the towels. I will never stay here again. I'm returning to Longview this week for work and I'll sleep in my truck before spending the night here. Best advice: get a tent before wasting any money here.

The breakfast the next morning was not good. Food in the serving trays (buffet) was not hot....cold by the time we got to a table. We also ordered off the menu....it took over 20 min to come out and was served luke warm. The room, bed, people, everyting else was great.

My breakfast bill was $9.90 something and I gave the guy two 5's he was acting funny so I was like do you need a credit card? He said oh yeah, so I give him my card I signed and he didn't offer my money back sooooo I was like ok .... So don't give cash , use your card.... I would definitely recommend a stay here all in all we loved it

• Lauren (10/5): - The staff was SO FRIENDLY. Loved everyone we encountered. Kids had a great time in the indoor pool and the rooms were very comfortable. Paying to park is crazy to me. This isn’t a flyable city so that is so bizarre? Expedia sent me a lot of wrong information, such a the pool being closed (it wasn’t) and stressing that I needed to download an app and check in with contactless key. After 20 minutes of frustration and error messages I went inside and the nice people were able to explain to me that this is not the process at all. Expedia responded to none of my messages so it’s better to book this hotel directly!
• Jasmine (5/5): This is not my first time staying here, my family and I are very familiar with this hotel. We love the breakfast options - I liked that the property had an indoor pool and offered breakfast. The hidden fees and charges for everything!

• 283billyg (6/5): Mediocre at best - Not a good experience. We got checked in ok but I wanted to watch TV and my satellite was not working. Called down and they said it’s the weather. Lame excuse without offering to send someone up to check. So I gave up. Keep in mind they don’t have a complementary breakfast. That’s $16 extra. And even though there was plenty of uncovered parking available, they charge $7 per day for parking. Bedding was good and the coffeemaker worked, so it’s a mediocre hotel at best.
• 34mrsc (10/5): Good service clean rooms - I appreciate the cleanliness of the hotel even with it being outdated. Shae at the front desk made sure I was taken care of during my stay. A very welcome change to some of the places I've stayed at previously! I know where I'll go next time I return to Longview.
• Shelli (8/5): Very good - The hotel was nice. I was a little disappointed in the beds, We did not get much sleep because the beds were uncomfortable. They don't have complimentary breakfast, which was disappointing. You could order breakfast but it was a little expensive. But other than breakfast and the beds being uncomfortable, the hotel itself was nice and the staff was great and helpful.

• Serena (8/5): - We truly enjoyed the hotel. I would have loved to enjoy the amenities you offered IF we had the time during our 2 nite stay . I do have a couple suggestions . You can take it for all it’s worth but I will give you my honest opinion. 1. I’m sure 9/10 of your guests have voiced their opinion about your breakfast lol. From our group - yes, they were not happy about the paid breakfast arrangements HOWEVER I disagree to some extent . I consider Hilton Garden a little more upscale than your typical hotels so I get that you would charge for breakfasts. However I have seen the breakfast you serve and honestly $16 for the buffet is ( to me ) a little high . Reason being -this is the same breakfast that is served at a FREE breakfast at most hotels . I would either serve a more upscale breakfast ( more personalized ) or lower your breakfast prices. Thats it. Staff was great and we enjoyed our stay .
• Charles (10/5): - Excellent check-in. Staff were more than helpful and extremely courteous. However, the beds in our room were extremely low to the floor. My toilet at home stands taller. There is no ice machine on the first floor. One of the staff, Joy, was super happy to get us ice and delivered the ice to our room. Excellent service.
