Michael (5/5): Received less than we paid for! - The location met our needs. Fast food restaurants within walking distance. Seemed like a safe area of town. Room fixtures were old and out dated. Window would not lock in place. Restroom had areas that were so old and weathered they were not cleanable. Lastly the bath tub was filled of spiders.
Marie (2/5): It sucked. - Plenty of fresh towels. No breakfast. No coffee pot. No cups in the room. No nightstands. A metal chair in the bathroom to hold toiletries. Floor had been cleaned, I guess, with something that left a dirty sticky residue and my bare feet left footprints on the bedroom floor. I put a towel down to walk on and the underneath side was black in the morning. Skimpy pillows. Check in was weird with a video screen of a live person, whom I had trouble understanding. Why did you need a copy of my drivers license AND take my picture. Why did I have to leave an additional $50 for security. What could one possible steal??? Was it that bad of a neighborhood? It was a very unfriendly and check in experience.

Bathroom tub had a constant leak mold all built up around it. Need an extra blanket for room 108 for my 91 year old mom and no one on premises to assist us. Juan (8/5): I was only therefore a one night stay I had a confirment event at the Moose Lodge in Lake Placid - I didn’t have the I think the price, but it definitely been better but it was a last minute booking
Deb (2/5): Bad Motel - Nothing. If I could have cancelled once I saw room I would have. Do not recommend anyone to this motel. I think it was one that would be used by the hour instead of an evening stay, I went to check in and person behind desk told me that she was only there to collect rent and that I had t o go over to a video kiosh. I had already prepaid for the room and I had to resubmit fir charge, I ended up being charged $140 for the room. The room was minimum at best. There was only a folding chair. No place to hang up my jacket. The pillows on bed were almost flat. My room was located in the front next to the office and I had to put off with Rte 27 road noise the whole evening. The TV kept freezing up on me.

Air conditioner was extremely loud. Three wires hanging down from the ceiling. Microwave was ancient. Pool filled in with dirt and weeds. Pictures on web were deceiving.

Tanner (7/5): Adequate for my needs, but not somewhere I will stay again, probably. - The staff was very nice and helpful. the location was easy to find and very central, though being on a major hiway meant it was noisy. I kept the tv on all night. this was the tiniest motel room I have ever stayed in. I don't know if all the rooms are this small, but mine sure was. The only flat surface was the top of the microwave which was on top of the mini fridge and the toilet tank. No table, no chair, you had to sit on the bed. I was only there overnight, but I don't think I would do it again.

We know it is bed bugs because both of us are itching badly and have red marks all over us. Here are the pictures of the bites. The owner said he was too busy to talk to us about it. Today Dec 31, I spoke to the management of Budget inn hotel which has communicated with me timely. The management is new and sounded compassionate about the situation. The hotel manager bombed the room I was in with insecticides and actually flip the beds over he did a really job I believe in getting rid of the bed bugs in that room. He actually gave me another room and we both sprayed it down and bumed it also. I requested that I have a complimentary service until I have spoken to the owner and since he was unavailable and too busy to get back to me my money was unavailable also. I'm seeking reimbursement for the cost I inquired for medications and urgent care cost. Since there were previous infestations that he was aware of or should have been. I will also be pressing assault charges. And I am seeking compensation for lose of work since I'm actually a healthcare worker. I was given the name of "Greg or Craig"Weinstein""? As the owner by a source I'm not mentioning.

Pitzy (5/5): Nice motel manager. - This was a “dated” facility for sure. No frills! . But it was clean. And had comfortable beds. And it was the only option we had ( at the last minute) to escape the path of the hurricane which was originally headed to where we live in St Pete ( mandatory evacuation zone). So we were grateful for a safe place to stay! But this is clearly a very old and dated “budget motel” facility.

Rita (1/5): Disgusting rooms that are never maintained and make you glad you made it out alive. GROSS - SOOOOOOOOOO many things. I took pictures to show my friends just how awful the room is. The smoke alarm was not attached to the wall but instead was resting on a piece of furniture. The furniture itself looks like something out of the 70s. The table I used only had one leg and was resting on the board on the back. The chair was so heavy, I had to have my husband move it for me. The lampshade was so stained, the microwave shorted out when I pushed start, and the ceiling fan lightbulb was burned out. The toilet paper holder was barely hanging on the wall, so it was not even useful. (Just remove it, man!) The towel holder was really rusty, I'm kind of thinking I need a tetanus shot. Also, there was no outlet in the bathroom, so I had to heat up my curling iron in the main room and run to the bathroom to curl my hair. I cannot even tell you how I felt about sleeping in that room, but I did not have any bites, so I guess I faired pretty well.

I walked into a dirty unmade room they "cleaned" it by making the beds and didn't even change the linens. Moved us to another room which was dirtier. Asked for a refund and went elsewhere. Then it took a month of talking between the motel my credit union and the fraud department to finally get my money back. Jokes on you budget inn! Got my money ha ha ha. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE 0/10 WOUOD NOT RECOMMEND TO MY WORST ENEMY!!!!
Robin (1/5): disappointing. Location for race track is good. - On arrival, and as advertised, there was supposed to be a fridge and microwave. He had to go find them and install. 1 40 w light bulb in ceiling fixture. 2 ancient 40w bulbs in wall units. No hairdryer, no desk to work on, no chair to sit and work on. Just a heavy old antique. Ancient carpet. No good.
