• Dan (3/5): If you’re coming on foot or bicycle, this place might be a good budget choice. - Property was clean. No parking. No instructions from hostess on parking. Not sufficient electrical outlets. Shower curtain doesn’t contain the water in the shower. Noisy location. Interaction with hostess by text only. I ended up leaving for fear of my borrowed car getting towed off the street. Clear parking information would have been appreciated.

• Susanne (10/5): Wunderbare charmante Altbauwohnung mitten in der Altstadt - Wir bezogen die Maisonettewohnung im obersten Stock (Apartment 6) und waren von dem typisch griechischen Charme der Wohnung vollauf begeistert! Ruhige Lage im Altstadtviertel-das Highlight der Wohnung ist eine große Dachterrasse mit Meerblick! Wir haben uns unbeholfen beim Öffnungsversuch des Schlüsselkästchens angestellt-in einer Minute kam sofort Hilfe von einer freundlichen Dame! Perfekt! Für uns war alles prima! Allerdings müssen einige Stockwerke mit relativ engen Treppen bewältigt werden! In der Vorsaison war es kein Problem in der Nähe einen kostenlosen Parkplatz zu finden.
• Melanie (7/5): Preislich sehr günstig und auch irgendwie niedlich. Wenn man mit den genannten Abstrichen leben kann - Die Lage mitten in der Altstadt ist natürlich klasse. Dafür ist der Preis gerade als Alleinreisender sehr gut. Was klar sein muss, ist die Lautstärke bis spät nachts. Es liegen Restaurants daneben/gegenüber. Mit Oropax geht das aber. Ich hatte das Budget Zimmer im Erdgeschoss. Was ich tatsächlich als störend empfand, war, dass man quasi nie richtig Tageslicht hat, weil die Fensterläden fast immer geschlossen sein müssen, weil man sonst von aussen aus der Fussgängerzone direkt auf das Bett sieht. Und da es ein altes Haus ist, hört (und fühlt!) man, wenn jemand die Treppen nach oben geht und sich im Zimmer darüber bewegt.
• Clare (9/5): Not luxurious (didn't claim to be) but very good, as described and fair value for money. - Hera Studios was very good, as described, in an excellent position on the edge of the old town, had sufficient equipment (given the space) and a extremely nice balcony. Always useful to have cooking/washing up facilities. The host was excellent with answering questions and information as to how to find it/check in/things to do etc. It is a bit quirky (that can be good) and not spacious, given that it is one of the old, narrow, buildings. So it is important to take note of the reviews that comment on the narrow, steep stairs. It is fine for those who are physically capable and able to carry any luggage up narrow stairs – but questionable for those who are not/cannot. I can't really complain about that as it was clear beforehand - but - just a warning.

Beautiful views and perfect location! - Amazing location, beautiful balcony views, very comfortable and clean, nice staff, and overall well appointed little space. It’s a bit pricey for such a small room. Also, the walls are very thin, so ear plugs may be helpful.

• Lucia (7/5): - De locatie was echt super! Ook het balkon was heerlijk om op te zitten. Ook de aanwezigheid van de airco was erg fijn. Het hele complex was erg gehorig, je kon de gesprekken horen van de buren. Het appartementje was erg klein, maar als je veel in de stad bent is dat geen probleem

• Suraj (10/5): Would definitely come again - Property was near to the old town port. The balcony had good view. There were all facilities needed for my stay. The shower was pretty big. The host was so sweet, she let me do early check in and late checkout, and also recommended good restaurants for breakfast and lunch. She also helped me with my laundry.

Brilliant place, I would thoroughly recommend for a family or guests who are happy with a small but friendly place. It wasn't huge, which was not a problem for us as a family with two kids, but I wouldn't recommend it for people who like a little more space.

• Irina Ognyanova (7/5): - В самия център на града е. Всичко е на пешеходно разстояние. До автогарата е на 15 мин. Настаняването и напускането е самостоятелно, с кутия за ключ. Студиото ни бе на последния етаж, стълбите са доста стръмни, но това е стара венецианска сграда. Има балкон с гледка към централната уличка, но при затворени прозорци не е шумно. Собственичката предлага оставяне на багажа в съседна сграда при нужда. Студиото е много малко, така че става за пренощуване само. Банята също е изклюително малка и тясна, водата не се оттича правилно от душа и се задържа на пода.

Privelistea din balcon: in jos - straduta cocheta cu magazibe dragute, cafelele si restautante, in dreapta marea frumoasa, in staga se vad muntii. Gazda deosebit de draguta si doritoare sa fie totul in regula, usor de rezolvat si confortabil. Ii multumim. Pentru cei cu somnul mai sensibil, se aude zgomotul strazii, dar nu foarte tarziu in noapte si nu foarte deranjant. In niciun caz nu cat sa ne faca sa nu revenim. As alege-o din nou pentru o revenire in Chania.

• Sarah (9/5): Great place to stay for a couple of nights. - Well-provisioned, attractive studio in a central location. The host answered all my messages and left me a sweet note on the key box. Lena also left an excellent pair of earplugs which really helped muffle the noise that one would expect in an old building in a vibrant part of town. Maybe one day the ceiling could be soundproofed to reduce the noise of footfall from the people above.

Smell from the cars inside the room. When the neighbors from the upper floor walk on the wooden floor, there is a terrible noise in the room. No sunlight. Hard bed and pillows as hard as rocks.

Il quarto letto era inagibile in quanto bisognava arrampicarsi su delle staffe agganciate al muro: molto pericoloso! Siamo stati costretti a mettere il materasso a terra. Non è adatto a soggiorni lunghi, non c’è un armadio capiente (1 anta per 4 ospiti). La camera potrebbe essere adatta al massimo per una coppia.

The facilities were quite good, a small kitchen that you could cook in if needed, bathroom was clean but the shower was tiny. The terrace was great to have but could be freshened up. The view was nice from it. The stairs to the room were steep and difficult in the heat. The room is small and really only suitable for 2 people. The terrace was great but needs to be freshened up and modernised. We stayed a week and had to ask for fresh towels. The sheets weren’t changed during our stay and the buns weren’t emptied. I know Lena would have looked after this had we asked but I didn’t think we should have to.

Staff gentile e disponibile, trovare dell’acqua fresca in frigo dopo ore sotto il sole è stato molto soddisfacente. La camera si è rivelata piuttosto datata negli arredi e molto rumorosa, sia per la vicinanza con le altre stanze che per un dispositivo installato sul balcone per allontanare gli uccelli, che emetteva un suono continuo fastidioso.

• Gabriele (9/5): Bellismo appartamentino in piena Old Town - La struttura è in piena Old Town, in una posizione bellissima. Per visitare la città è ottima, si ha tutto sotto casa. L'appartamento è molto particolare, piccolino ma con tutto il necessario. I letti sono comodi, compresi di lenzuola e asciugamani, il letto rialzato è piaciuto molto ai bambini. Per il check-in/check-out abbiamo fatto in autonomia grazie alla cassettina a codice presente sul portone, cosa molto gradita. Noi siamo rimasti solo una notte perché eravamo di passaggio e non abbiamo fatto mare a Chania, ma penso si possa usare anche come base per più notti. Per la nostra esperienza, assolutamente niente di negativo.

• Dorothea (5/5): Right in the heart of Old Town, lots of cafes, tavernas. - Location: right in the heart of the Old Venetian Harbor.Charming location. The plane was late and I was tired after a 23 hours flight, unfortunately the master box for the room key did not open, several people tried... Then the owners son was finally called who sent s.b. to help open the masterbox. He could open it, got the key and thankfully helped me carry my heavy siutcase very steep stairs up to the second floor. It was quite an ordeal to get my suitcase down these stairs in the morning! - Early morning walked to the market and bakery for a cafe and roll.

Bien pour un jour où deux mais pas plus à 4. Plancher en bois donc plafond qui craque sous les pas des voisins. Point positif important, parking réservé aux résidents à deux pas du logement. • Runhild (10/5): Perfekt beliggenhet i gamlebyen - Beliggenheten, midt i en av de mest genuine og vakreste gatene i gamlebyen. Veldig rolig strøk, og kort vei til sjøen. Romslig terrasse og alt vi trengte inne. God soveanordning for 4. Ingenting, her hadde vi det veldig fint. Greit å være obs på bratt trapp ned fra 2 etasje, så mindre barn som våkner på natten for å gå på toalettet bør nok ikke sove oppe. Var en enkelseng nede også.
