• Verified traveler (8/5): close to public transport - Convenient to public transport and two supermarkets. Bus from the airport will drop you off there. Lovely service with limited English. Good breakfast included. Only downside is no kettle or tea/coffee in rooms.
• hitomi (10/5): とてもキレイでくつろげる宿 - チェックインの時間前に到着しました。まだ部屋の清掃が完了していなかったにも関わらず、すぐに観光に出たい旨を伝えると、鍵を渡してもらえたので安心して観光に出ることができました。帰ってくると、部屋にカバンを入れておいてくれてとても助かりました。ウォーターサーバーがあり、朝食のフルーツも美味しかったです。部屋もとても清潔でホットシャワーもすぐに出ます。バス停から徒歩20分ほどでアクセスも良いです。
• Claude (10/5): Très bon rapport qualité prix. Accueil sympa - Excellent accueil de Claudia. L'hôtel est au calme et bien placé. La chambre est petite mais le lit est confortable et la clim et le ventilateur fonctionnent très bien. Bon petit déjeuner. Gentillesse de la femme de ménage qui nous a installés bien confortablement au frais pour attendre la navette de l'aéroport à 16 h. Ce qui m'empêche de mettre une note excellente est que l'eau de la piscine était verte et ne donnait pas envie de se baigner pourtant on aurait apprécié avec la chaleur...et les robinets de la salle de bain qui auraient besoin d'un entretien pour bien fonctionner surtout l'eau froide.
• armand (2/5): Une patronne désinvolte - L'hôtel est correct MAIS : 1 - en travaux pendant le séjour ( piscine pas en service, porte-fenêtre de la salle petit-déjeuner démontée...) 2 - salle petit déjeuner exigüe 3 - environnement un peu bruyant (chiens qui aboient la nuit) le personnel est agréable ( la femme de ménage et les ouvriers ) mais la patronne est désinvolte. Elle reçoit les clients en s'occupant de sa fille de deux ans. Et surtout elle est cause d'un incident qui motive mon mécontentement général (sinon l'avis général aurait été positif type :-) Je raconte : Le dernier jour, je libère la chambre après le petit déjeuner et je dis à la femme de ménage : Comme convenu hier avec la patronne, je laisse ma valise à la réception et je reviendrai la chercher en début d'après-midi. (J'avais prévu une balade, et un car à prendre à 17 h en centre ville, pour rentrer à Buenos Aires). Elle me dit OK, je suis là jusqu'à 14h et à partir de 14h la patronne arrive, vous pouvez donc venir chercher votre valise quand vous voulez. Je reviens vers 14h30, hôtel fermé. Téléphone muet. Après plusieurs démarches infructueuses, au bout d'une heure et demie environ, j'entends du bruit à l'intérieur, je frappe fort, un ouvrier vient m'ouvrir et je peux récupérer ma valise. Ouf ! Mais l'absence injustifiée de la patronne m'a valu un moment d'angoisse.

• Jon (8/5): A good budget option hotel - This hotel doesn’t pretend to be anything it’s not. It’s a cheap option to stay in Iguazu and is fine for pick ups to the falls. There’s a small high street just a few minutes away where you can go to the supermarket. And there’s a pizza place which is nice. Make sure you’ve got cash when you arrive as it’s hard to find a bank and a number of places only accept cash. The breakfast is very basic and you don’t get much - but it was enough for me. The WiFi worked well in the room and in the foyer so that was good. I got a message a day before asking what time I was going to arrive - it seems there isn’t always someone on site. Because it was only the day before and I didn’t see the message until after I didn’t have WiFi I couldn’t reply. So that gave me a bit of anxiety, but I arrived in the morning and someone was there to let me in. I’d suggest emailing them first though if you can. Overall a decent budget option

• marcelo (10/5): O aconchegante Residencial Los Lapachos - O Hotel , além do excelente custo beneficio, reuni as qualidades da limpeza, do café da manhã com suco de laranja, pão de queijo, frutas, e o excelente croissant, etc.,simpatia da Cláudia e a sua funcionária. Com certeza haverá novas oportunidades para meu retorno com minha esposa a cidade de Puerto Iguazu, que hoje é uma excelência na gastronomia, bem como muito charmosa, e repleta de atividades.
• Rick (6/5): Cool, private & gated place. - Stayed here to be close to downtown and the falls. The only issue was a dog belonging to the on site staff or owners barked most of the night. No one seemed to care to quiet the dog

• ALEJANDRO DAMIAN (10/5): Hotel limpio y cómodo - En general el establecimiento es muy lindo y bien ubicado, los puntos negativos son que sólo hubo una persona en la recepción en el momento en que llegamos pero luego no había a quien consultarle dudas del lugar o recomendaciones para conocer la ciudad y en el día del check out no pudimos dejar la maletas en ningún lugar para poder aprovechar el día .

Not clean. 20 minutes walk to the center. The good things, changed towels, and left more than one. Small pool to relax after a day in the falls.

The manager can be hard to find but the cleaner and breakfast cook are awesome and brekky is really good. It's quiet and friendly and a great place to stay while checking out the Iguazu national park.

Owners were very accommodating when I had a problem with my room (unstoppable faucet leak) and they moved me to another room very quickly, and had a plumber there right away to fix the leak in the other room. Comfortable and clean rooms. I would definitely recommend.

• Jacques (4/5): Très bon acceuil mais chambre très décevante - Nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour son prix relativement bas incluant le petit déjeuner et pour certains avis dithyrambiques sur les chambres . Claudia nous a contacté sur Whatsapp avant notre arrivée, ce qui n'est pas si courant et nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Elle nous a très bien accueilli, parlant parfaitement l'anglais. Elle nous a donné toutes les indications utiles pour nous orienter dans la ville, trouver les restaurants et organiser notre visite des cascades. Avant notre départ, elle nous a réservé un taxi pour nous conduire à l'aéroport. On a apprécié les fontaines d'eau minérale en libre service. Le petit déjeuner est frugal. En revanche, quelle déception pour la chambre (la n°3) ! Petite, sombre, ménage non fait, robinetterie qui fuit, pas de table ni de chaise, mais à la place un réfrigérateur encombrant et d'aucune utilité (pour nous). Climatisation efficace en mode froid mais pas en mode chaud (les nuits peuvent être fraiches). Nous avons passé trois nuits, le lit a été fait la première nuit mais pas la seconde. Les codes d'accès Wifi sont indiqués mais la portée du Wifi est trop faible et n'arrive pas jusqu'à cette chambre. La télévision donne une image de très mauvaise qualité. Bref nous n'avons retrouvé aucune des qualités vantées par les commentaires d'autres clients? Que faut-il en déduire ? Qu'on nous a donné la chambre n°3 qui est la pire ?

Sin lujos pero con lo necesario para tener una estancia tranquila y agradable.

• Verified traveler (4/5): No es lo que parece.... - No es lo que se ve en las fotos, es mucho peor, además la situación es bastante alejada del centro e inaccesible. La calidad del desayuno bajo mínimos, la piscina está, pero sucia, el WiFi no funciona prácticamente en ningún momento y casi nunca hay nadie a quien comunicárselo para que pueda remediarlo. En fin, un desastre auténtico. No lo recomiendo para nada y bajo ninguna circunstancia.
• IVAN (8/5): - Mi experiencia fue muy buena: gente amable, servicial, preocupada, disponibilidad para ayudar. El lugar muy bien ubicado para mis intereses. Mucha seguridad. Me dieron la habitación a pesar que llegue muy temprano en la mañana lo cual fue muy positivo, y cuando tuve que salir puede dejar mi equipaje sin costo adicional para recogerlo después. El desayuno estuvo bien, con lo fundamental como frutas y bebidas calientes y pan con mermeladas. En mi caso esto es normalmente suficiente, sobre todo considerando el buen precio del hotel. El único punto negativo fue que al bañarme muy temprano el día que salía no había agua caliente, lo cual me la puso difícil, pero estoy seguro que si les hubiera comentado a los encargados algo habrían hecho al respecto.
• Mark (8/5): Great location good hotel! - Nice hotel and great price. The location is perfect to see both sides of the falls. Claudia was really helpful when I arrived. Only issue was with the wifi which was great when you were on it. But every time you left the hotel and came back it would not let you connect. The router had to be reset every time - but the hotel was not staffed 24 hours a day. Caused me a few problems as I need to contact people that I was meeting. But I just walked to a local shop and brought a coffee and used the wifi there.
• Andrew (6/5): Waiting for a Makeover. - We were checked in by a woman who spoke English but after that never saw her again.The rest of the staff were very helpful even though they spoke very little English - thank goodness for translation apps! The room was a two bedroom cabin and is very tired, needs a good paint and upgraded decor. The bed is very squeaky and old. Has the potential to be very good. the location was not far from town or the Brazilian boarder so it suited us. also a bus to the falls just around the corner. It is not great value for money compared with hotels on the Brazilian side of the falls.

• Jayne (8/5): Great stay, Quite and peaceful. - I had a great time. I was the only one at the hotel and it was awkward at first but I love the quietness. The room was spacious and very big for one person. I there was a small living room area with a tv and a mini fridge that I loved, but it was right next to the main door and with the sheer curtains, it was easy for someone to see into the room if they wanted. It was secure and gated, providing you with a key to get in and out of the residence in addition to your room key. The breakfast was great, especially the fresh fruit, the staff were kind hearted and helped me with any needs from finding my way around the town to getting a cab to go back to the airport. I would definitely come back again.

• Steven (10/5): Comfy in Iguazu - I stayed at Resencial Los Lapachos for 5 nights during my visit to Iguazu Falls. I initially chose this property because it was inexpensive and it had good reviews regarding the helpfulness of the staff. Those reviews were spot on. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The manager speaks excellent English and was always eager to chat and offer advise. The location is very close to the bus stop for the falls (less than 5 min walk). There are supermarkets very close by to get snacks. It is a little bit out of town, but easily walkable. It's not a bad thing being out of town, it's in a nice quiet residential neighborhood with a park across the street. It has a nice pool and a simple but tasty breakfast. The room they gave me was huge. It had a large bedroom, a living room, bathroom and a smaller second bedroom. It would have been fine for a family with a couple of kids. I would stay here again without any hesitation.

• Agnes (8/5): A quiet place walking distance of downtown. - strong mold smell. had to leave the window open to sleep. Breakfast in the morning but start at 7am. No one at reception in weekend. But as I gave my arrival time he was there to welcome us. He gave us his phone number and was very helpful when we needed him to contact a taxi driver for a tour. Walking distance to downtown to go to restaurants, to glocery stores, shopping, to catch a bus to the falls…. but far enough from the main street that it is in a quiet street.

Although the hotel is not downtown, it is just down the road from a good restaurant, a few hambuger joints and two grocery stores and on bus route to falls. Buses to centro area is only 8 pesos and come often.
