• alex (10/5): Great place to stay - Lovely studios, beautifully and tastefully decorated by Dimitra in a sea side theme. Had everything we needed, and it was very clean and comfortable and it felt homely. Dimitra is such a nice lady who we felt genuinely cares about her guests and wants to ensure you have everything you need. We felt very welcome. There was nothing not to like
• Debbie (10/5): Great place to stay - Dimitra is an amazing host she is available when needed and very quick to respond to any queries. The rooms are immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and are equipped with everything you might need. There is a lovely roof terrace with sun beds and seating areas and the pool is the perfect size. Kalyves is a lovely little town, there are many bars restaurants shops and supermarkets to the left and right of Dimitra studios. (The biggest supermarket Synka is a 7 minute walk to the left as you come out of the accommodation) The town offers a large choice of places to eat, it is buzzing in the evenings but it’s not a party town. You can easily take the bus to Chania and other towns from very nearby. Overall it is a lovely place to stay and the studios offer the perfect base for exploring the area. Nothing I can think of

• Arnd (10/5): Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen. - Sehr freundliche und sympathische Vermieterin. Schöne Pool im Garten. Tolle Dach-Terrasse mit Liegen und schöner Aussicht die für alle nutzbar ist. Außerdem eigener Balkon. Es gibt kein Frühstück, aber in der Nähe eine gute Auswahl an schönen Cafes. Strand nicht direkt an der Unterkunft, aber nur einen kleinen Spaziergang weit weg. Eigentlich war nichts zu bemäüngeln, aber z. B. Frühstück in der Unterkumft wäre noch besser vor allem wenn es buffet gibt. Parkplatz war etwas weiter weg und öffentlich. Aber das ist jammern auf hohem Niveau.

Vi fick gåvor som heter duga! Jag rekommenderar. Huvudgata precis utanför. Och detta var jag inte medveten om. Trafiken var konstant dygnet runt, tyvärr!

• Roland (10/5): - Dimitra war eine ausgesprochen nette Gastgeberin. Das Appartement, das liebevoll im griechischen Stil eingerichtet war, hat uns vom ersten Augenblick verzaubert. Die Lage war für uns perfekt - ruhig zum Wohnen, genug Gastronomie, Supermarkt und Strände in der Nähe und alle unsere Ausflugsziele einfach mit unserem Mietwagen oder alternativ auch per Bus erreichbar. Freuen uns jetzt schon, bald hier wieder Urlaub machen zu können. -

Balkongen var så mysig att sitta på för frukost och även senare på kvällen. Det fanns precis allt du kunde tänkas behöva. Dimitra var väldigt trevlig och vi blev varmt välkomnade när vi kom. När vi åkte hem fick vi med oss en liten present. Det var en promenad på cirka 10-15 minuter både till stranden och restauranger. Det finns egentligen ingenting att klaga på men om man fick önska kunde det funnits ett par parasoller man kunde använda vid poolen.

In der Nähe gibt es einen großen Supermarkt, der günstiger ist, als die kleinen Läden. Der Sandstrand ist zu Fuß schnell erreicht. Dimitra ist eine wunderbare, herzliche Gastgeberin.

Even though our stay was short we had a very nice time in Kalyves. If you are an early riser you can get an amazing view of the sunrise just across the street from the Villa.

Vår fina värd Dimitra gjorde allt för att vi skulle trivas. Hon välkomnade oss med vin, försåg oss med sin hemmagjorda apelsinsylt, och var mycket trevlig. Der Strand und ein Supermarkt sowie diverse Restaurants und Cafés sind fußläufig in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Besonders toll ist der Ausblick von der Dachterrasse und der Meerblick vom eigenen Balkon!

• Łukasz (10/5): Beautiful rooms, amazing location, unique host, best value for money - There is so much good to say about Dimitra's Studios I don't even know where to start. Rooms: beautifully designed with marine elements, clean and have all the amenities you might need (fridge, cooker, toaster etc.). Other areas: there is a beautiful garden, amazing rooftoop with sunbeds where you can admire stars at night, or get some tan during the day, and a small swimming pool for refreshment. Location: directly by the promenade for walking or jogging, 5-10 minutes on foot from cafes, restaurants, great beaches and large supermarket. Host: Dimitra is wonderful, helpful and caring, she really wants her guests to have the best experience, I've never met a nicer host than her! Kalyves: this town has everything you need without business typical to bigger cities, you can rent a car, use public transport to get to Chania, Rethymno, or book a tour to other locations (Elafonisi, Balos, etc.) in a local travel office. Nothing negative to say.

• Verena (10/5): - Wir hatten mit der Nr 10 ein super süßes 2 Zimmer Appartemen welches mit einem neuen Bad und einer pantri Küche ausgestattet ist. Sowie einer kleinen Terrasse und direktem Zugang zum Pool. Man sieht dass in den Zimmern sehr viel Liebe steckt und keines gleicht dem anderen. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail wurde hier in Handarbeit jedes Zimmer eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich hier mehr als wohl! Im ganzen Areal ist es sehr ruhig und man kann wirklich ausspannen. Dimitra ist sehr offenherzig und hat uns bei jeder Frage mit Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden. Die Lage ist großartig da man in beide Richtungen zum Strand zu Fuß etwas 5-10min braucht (Für mich ist Kiani Akti immer ein highlight da hier ein sehr kalter süßwasserfluss ins warme Meer mündet). Ein großer Supermarkt ist auch in 10min erreichbar sowie das nötigste im Ort in nur einer Minute Entfernung zu finden ist. Wir haben wsl alle Restaurants in der Umgebung getestet und es waren alle fantastisch! (Mit einer ausnahme die sich als schickaria spezifiziert). Hier kann man wirklich kaum etwas falsch machen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall sobald als möglich wieder! Absolute Empfehlung aus Wien ❤️

The location is perfect - in a really gorgeous part of Kalyves with amazing coffee shops, restaurants and beaches all within walking distance. • Chrystalla (10/5): Μια υπέροχη διαμονή - Ήταν όλα άψογα! Το διαμερισματάκι ήταν όμορφο, διακοσμημένο με πολυ μεράκι από την ίδια τη Δήμητρα. Η κουζινούλα ήταν πολύ καλά εξοπλισμένη και εργονομική. Ήταν πεντακάθαρο, αφού καθαριζόταν μέρα παρά μερά, με φρέσκιες πετσέτες και σεντόνια. Οι κοινοί χώροι, ταράτσα και πισίνα ηταν κι αυτοί φροντισμένοι και καμωμένοι με πολυ γούστο. Η τοποθεσία ήταν πολύ βολική, με χώρο στάθμευσης ακριβώς απέναντι. Παρόλο που ήταν πάνω στον δρόμο, δεν μας ενόχλησε ποτέ η φασαρία, αφού υπήρχε πολύ καλή ηχομόνωση και το υπνοδωμάτιο ήταν στο πίσω μέρος του διαμερίσματος. Η Δήμητρα ανοικτόκαρδη και πολύ βοηθητική σε ό,τι της ζητήσαμε.

• Mehmed (10/5): - Dimitra is amazing and a great host. The apartment was infused and furbished with a lot of love and attention to detail, it felt really homey compared to a lot of other, more plastic places. It is close to the town, it has a couple of places to eat nearby.

• Ralf (8/5): - Sehr schönes liebevoll eingerichtetes Appartement. Wir hatten das Zimmer im 1-OG zum Pool. Zimmer war sehr schön. Handtuch und Bettwäsche Wechsel und Putzen fand alle 2 Tage statt. Das Badezimmer vor allem die Dusche war extrem klein. Wir hatten uns damit aber Arrangiert.

• Hyam (9/5): - Dimitra has a lovelyl apartment, clean and well appointed. Towels, bins and sheets changed every couple of days. It's well situated for beaches and restaurants, many within a 10 to 15 minute walk.

• Sylvia (9/5): Een heerlijk sfeervol appartement - Een prachtig sfeervol appartement. Alles is superschoon en alles is aanwezig. Het dakterras en kleine zwembad maakt het een topper. Dimitra is een hele aardige host. Kalyves is een leuke badplaats en met de auto kun je de omgeving verkennen
• Sandra (8/5): Prijs kwaliteit helemaal in orde. - Een ruime, hygiënische kamer, en een lieve gastvrouw. Teveel licht buiten waardoor het appartement moeilijk te verduisteren was. Misschien met sensoren werken zodat het licht terug uit gaat.
• Anna (10/5): - Dimitra is a very open hearted person. The Appartements are designed individually. The bed and sofa is very comfotable. You have everything you need.

• Annamária (9/5): Beautiful, quite place but far away from the center - The apartman is beautiful and very comfortable. We had a studio with 34 nm, it was great for 2 of us. Everything was very clean, the beds were great. Next to the apatmant you can find a bus stop to Chania, but it goes only 4-5 times / day. So it is not like in other places, every 20-30 minutes. If you would like to visit Chania or Rethimno it is better to rent a car. There are a some great tavernas in the village. The beaches are belonging to bars, and the sunbeds and umbrellas are free. The center of the village including shops and bars, and the beach is 10-15 minutes walk from the apartman, which is at the beginning of the village. You can have a car as well; walking in the hot one km or more is not so easy. You also need to find or buy your breakfast somwhere else. One night the electricity was out because of the heat, so we needed to sleep in 28-30 celsius, there was nothing to do.

• Jacqueline (9/5): - Beautifully decorated room with a very comfortable bed and a great balcony, Room 4, which overlooked the pool and hills behind. The pool was very welcome as the weather was very hot. The cleaner only came twice during our stay, therefore the kitchen bin and toilet bin was only emptied twice. We do not expect towels and bedlinen to be changed any more than this but for hygiene and in the heat the toilet and kitchen bins should be done daily. Also we asked about having our/a room for an extra few hours and were offered this at a discounted rate of 50 euros cash, which I found to be excessive as it was just for a shower, needless to say we didn't take up the offer and used the shower by the pool.

• chantal (9/5): Super ! - Le coté chaleureux de l'accueil de Dimitra qui est aux petits soins pour ces clients, mettant à leur disposition tout ce dont ils ont besoin. La décoration soignée et originale dans les tons de bleus rappelant la mer et la Grèce, tous ces objets ayant été fabriqués, détournés de leur utilisation première et "customisés" avec gout par la propriétaire ! tout était parfait à part 2 petits bémols : - le bruit de la route juste à coté. - le manque d'intimité à la piscine. En effet, l'espace étant réduit, on est très près des terrasses des 2 chambres donnant sur celle-ci.
• Robert (10/5): Beautifully designed studio in the best part of town. - The studio was a good size, immaculately furnished and perfectly located for beaches and tavernas. Our studio had a rear balcony which was totally private and great for breakfast and the roof terrace is quite superb with fabulous views. Everything was just right.
• Maggie (10/5): Can't wait to return! - Good location with sea view. Fabulous balcony. Comfortable bed. Beautiful apartment with great facilities and extra little touches. Spotlessly clean. There was a coffee machine too and even a little sewing kit. Dimitra was a wonderfully welcoming host and so helpful and kind. We were also offered an upgrade to a bigger room. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.
