• Laura (9/5): - Convenient parking in front of door Lines do need to be repainted. Heating/air unit difficult to operate. No main floor ice. Beds fairly firm.
• Vladimir (10/5): - The room didn't have carpet - huge plus! The air conditioning unit was very quiet - a big difference compared to other hotels, even much more expensive ones. The location is very convenient for exploring Bancroft and area.
• Frans (5/5): - De omgeving is prachtig De prijs tot de verhouding van de accommodatie is erg duur. De 125 euro staat in geen enkel verhouding met de kwaliteit en de kamer van het hotel. Zelfs geen eenvoudig ontbijt. Heel erg matig allemaal.
• Genny (8/5): Basic overnight sleep. No lobby. But our room is clean. - We booked 2 rooms. Our rooms were 247 and 248. I was in 247. It was clean, both rooms and toilet, nice smell and clean linens. It was also quiet. The bath tub cleanliness could improve. Room 248 has musky smell. There is a weird or musky smell when you enter the door/ staircase towards 2nd floor. There are some junk that looks like some left over flooring at the entrance door. The hallway on the 2nd floor has red carpet also has weird smell and it needs some attention. I am thinking they are doing some renovations.

It had a fridge and microwave It had 2 beds Nice new mirror in bathroom Hot water with my shower Extra toilet paper and kleenex TV (although didn't use it but nice it was there). Free wifi The mat at the door was damp with sand on it upon arrival so anytime you stepped on it, the dirt stuck to you and it would trail through the room. I put a towel at the door beside the mat so I could wipe my feet off. -the pillows were more of a couch cushion than a head pillow. Square and way too big, you can't lay your head on that. I brought my own pillow thankfully. -thin sheets. I brought my own soft blanket throw and slept ontop of the made bed and used my own blanket. -bathroom door didn't close. -conditioning shampoo. Definitely need just shampoo and just conditioner, not a combo -the showering towels were tiny and thin -too expensive (at least include a breakfast at that price)

• Priscilla (10/5): - The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the location was pretty quiet. Of course, it could use some updates and a fresh coat of paint but for a small roadside motel it was cozy. There were lots of channels on the tv, a mini fridge and a microwave. Usb ports and outlets for electronics. Lots of pillows and a dining table with two chairs.

The toilet is too close to the door, too hard to turn the body….3. No elevator to go the 2nd floor

There were some attempts to upgrade the rooms, like a smart mirror, but the rooms and furniture are outdated and I had to wear shoes in the room because the floors are clearly not cleaned after every stay. The room itself was next to the stairwell, so could hear everyone coming and going all night. Would not recommend.

• Danny (6/5): - The rooms need a great deal of upgrading. They were clean but very worn. Check in was very easy and they gave us a room on the first floor so we didn’t have stairs to worry about.

• Liz (1/5): We have stayed prior and had better experience then this time. - Location is great We booked two rooms well in advance and they put us on separate floors. The air conditioner was behind the curtain and so was blocked at night. Bed was as hard as a rock and the small fridge ran every so often and was extremely loud. Couldn’t unplug cause we had food in it.

• Patricia (7/5): Stayed 1 night, it was a mid point to our motorcycle destination. - The location was slightly out of town. Not walking distance to restaurants, it was about a 3-5min ride to town for food. Easy in and out for a commuter. The rooms would use a detailed cleaning. Walls and doors are in need of a good wipe down. Mattresses could use a flop or rotation, the foot area was higher than the head.

• Daphne (8/5): - I like that it was pet-friendly, however I was not pleased with them charging extra for a pet at the beginning of the stay. Charges should only be applied if there is any damage caused by the pet. Also, there were some issues with some features of the room. The electric outlet near the window didn’t work and I had to unplug the microwave every time I needed to charge my phone. The bathroom was clean, but the plate for the water tap in the tub was loose and it looked like there was mould on the bottom right corner of the door frame.

The room was very quiet and bed comfortable. Close to town. The finishing details.. rusty heaters, dated bedding and drapes. Needs a little interior decorating to add warmth and personality.

• Jannett (3/5): - The bathroom and amenities were nice and the bathroom was very clean. The bed was clean as well, although the pillows are very small and square shaped rather than regular size pillows. The hallways were dark and dingy and smelled of old, musty, damp wood. The refrigerator or mini fridge did not work and the couch had stains on it. I put a towel on the floor so I could walk on it and to ensure that I didn’t carry any dirt into my bed. There was a balcony and the balcony chairs were dirty, and there was a dirty ashtray on the table. There was a hanging electrical box hanging from a stain ceiling.. the worst part was the power went out at about 8 o’clock due to local storm. That’s about like that happen in the area, but here was the dangerous part.. the owners are staff of the motel nowhere to be seen or give support to guests. The hallway had some lights, but they expired and the hall was pitch black which is against the law and for hotel motel safety. This was deadly dangerous.. I mentioned it to a staff member and they said while they only have so much time and then the lights go dark. The key locks also did not function after the power went out so I was locked out of my room.
