Guest Reviews

- Cody (2/5): -
- Patricia (5/5): 2 nights to attend a funeral, so I didn’t need much. - Clean, hot water. No coffee maker, no ironing board, no closet, no hangars… NO FRILLS!
- Barry (5/5): I won’t return . - The accommodations were not anywhere equal to the cost. The toiletries were non existent. The room was poorly appointed.. I suspect that the motel management feels that the proximity to the beac justifies the price. Several miles to the beach isn’t close in my estimation.
- Rosangel (7/5): -
- Yesenia (8/5): -
- Andy (7/5): -
- Stephanie (3/5): Not good. - Close to the beach No real blankets, bathroom door didn’t shut all the way, looked very run down and shady, didn’t feel very safe with my children there.
- Robert (4/5): - Nothing really to like most especially given Jersey Shore pricing.. I would rate it one out of 10.. other than fridge and microwave no amenities in the room not even plastic cups nor coffee pot.. shower head Rusty.. water from sink spewed black crustiness... first room assigned reeked of smoke was given alternative room which was better at least aroma-wise.. at the bottom of motel rooms I have ever rented.. not worth half the price paid sorry to say.
- Connell (10/5): -
- Dementyev (10/5): Exceptional -
- Skylar (5/5): Passable - Everything was fine. My only issue was the bed sheets had body hair all over it and it was gross.
- Jonathan (8/5): Very good -
- Lisalynne (5/5): A bit like the Bates Motel. - The convenience to my destination. It was a little dodgy. The room door didn't lock well, the outside is quite run down and when going to collect our keys we felt as if we were disturbing the staff who had people in chatting with them.
- Jason (8/5): Very good - It's perfect for what I needed. A short uner drive away from the beach. Decent price
- Aren (5/5): I was there for one night I left with no bed bugs so can’t complain - I didn’t get bed bugs The pillows have stains and felt kind of suspicious
- Arlene (3/5): The room had an ironing board and iron and the bed was comfortable, - What did I think of the breakfast? I was never told there was breakfast. The location was on a highway and nothing like the picture on booking.com where I made my reservation. Parking was good as I am handicapped and had a parking space right by the room. The staff could have been hospitable. No one in the office could speak English and they had to call the owner to talk to me about my reservation. She didn't have an inkling of who I was and she was difficult. There could have been paper cups in the bathroom for water, I was unable to hear the speaker on the telephone even when I put the speaker button on, the chair did not go up high enough for the desk, bathroom door was a slider and so heavy and it didn't close properly, lighting was poor and there wasn't a magnifying mirror.
- Stephen (3/5): Poor - Location was ideal to see family! I’m presently staying in a NC city hotel that is luxurious compared to your motel and it is only 50$ more!
- Katharine (7/5): Good -
- Rose (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mose (6/5): Pleasant -
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sara (2/5): - What a dump.
- Rwanda (4/5): Uncomfortable - The location No coffee pot, tub/shower was dirty and not enough towels/washcloths for two. No amenities. Not even close to worth the cost.
- Felicia (1/5): Bad staffing 😕😔 - The room was cozy and the area was quiet the entire night. About a little after 11am, the staff was banging on the door for me to checkout and I told the staff member that i was getting ready and I requested a late check for noon. She said she was calling since 10 or 10:30am for check-out. After that she came back to the room around 11:22 and I stated I requested a late checkout and I'm about to leave, that's when she went ballistic. I was in the room and the door was opened while I stood there in a shirt and underwear putting on my make-up. I never felt so embarrassed. The staff member continued to go crazy while stating I'm going to card your for $250 for a penalty and I said no you're not because I didn't get loud with her. So her and ànother worker came in the room and started taking the sheets off the bedroom and cleaning the bathroom. As she removed the sheets, my parmesan cheese was there and she said "here take your stuff? I said I don't need it. I threw it in the garbage which I will say there was no bag but I took it off the bed. She started yelling calling a bitch and saying the F word. After going and forth with her, she threw the parmesan cheese at me and said she's calling the cops so I said ahead because I didn't do anything wrong. She's talking to the 911 operator and tells them I trashed the room with garbage and gave them my name which is a violation. This experience was so horrible
- Dorothy (5/5): The location was good for our purposes. - The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The facility needs major updating.
- Daniel (7/5): Good -
- Johnny (9/5): Superb -
- Laura (1/5): I would rate this hotel as "poor" and "overpriced" - I would rate this hotel as "poor" and "overpriced"
Issues:
- burn holes in comforter
- no drain stopper in sink
- mold in shower
- stained towels and bathmat
- 3-drawer dresser with only 1 dresser handle. 2 or 3 dresser drawers had a screw sticking out for a handle.
- travel sized shampoo left in shower was half empty (obviously the shampoo used before)
- closed captioning on tv could not be turned off
- Carlos (5/5): Passable -
- Marco (6/5): Pleasant -
- Felicia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dominick (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dominick (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (1/5): Stay Away! - location was closest to where I wanted to be Staff mean and nasty at checkin, very disappointing room, even though the reservation was just made, they wouldn't allow a cancellation
- Victoria (5/5): it was okay, did get to Point Pleasant Beach - They did not have breakfast, went to Brick Diner next door, great breakfast!! Had to ask for plastic cups for the room, very dated decor good mattress though
- Dominick (10/5): Awesome - Friendly Staff, great location. N/a
- Ardon (5/5): Very expensive for the unpleasant experience - Room neat The room was really smelly to cigar. Very unpleasant
- Lisa (9/5): Superb - clean and covenient location
very accomodating reception
- Persaud (7/5): Good -
- Rosangel (5/5): Passable -
- Matthew (2/5): Overpriced and poor quality room - The location Room was bad. Ben didn’t have proper sheets. The bathroom had no toiletries. There was no place to hang my clothes. There was no access to free water. The snacks and ice machine were off limits at night because they were locked in the office where the owners lived.
- Sean (2/5): DONT BE FOOLED! - ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! Walked in and the headboard to the bed was covered in makeup and greasy hand stains. The mattress, mattress topper, sheets and comforter were all covered in stains. The towel in the bathroom was wet and smelled nasty. The shower didn’t even have a liner, just a linen curtain that had holes. Spent about an hour checking for bed bugs and because we didn’t come down immediately for a refund the manager only offered half of a refund. Instead of being apologetic, he copped an attitude trying to say bed bugs were impossible. I also found food, hair, and (again) stains all over the mattress. Save your money and avoid this place!
- Dale (8/5): Clean and quiet -
- Neil (7/5): Good - Dinner next door. Bed was very comfortable. Relativity quit for the location. Bathroom shampoo, only 1 was of bad quality, Same for the soap.
- Oki (5/5): Passable -
- Bryan (5/5): Passable - Little dirty, towels were not clean
- Theresa (8/5): Practical and close to the hospital that we had a family member in. - The internet did not work for us in our room. They went out of their way to try and fix things. When they couldn't get it to work, they helped us move to and set up in another room. They are a very nice couple. The place is located right next to the Brick diner, which we ate at multiple times. The rooms are dated and small, nothing fancy. They could use luggage racks in the rooms. We had to put our suitcase on the ironing board. The brochure said the rooms had carpeting but they do not.
- Phyllis (5/5): It's an OK place in a convenient location. - Staff was very friendly. Location was convenient. I have stayed at this facility before. I was satisfied with the size and comfort of the room. Several things in the room were broken (drawers out of alignment, a wobbly refrigerator that could have been in danger of falling over). At one point there were bugs in the bathtub although the staff cleaned that up. On one evening I came back to the facility at 7 p.m. but my room hadn't been made up yet. The staff members were very apologetic and they raced to get my room made up and tidied and cleaned.
- Nalini (1/5): I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. - We didn't stay because the hotel was filty, including the sheets. I try to get my funds back but never got it. The rooms and sheets were dirty
- Shawn (1/5): Bad -
- Tricia (5/5): Passable -
- Mark (4/5): One-star - This small one-star motel survives on the small piece of land left after repeated widening of NJ-70; there's a good chance it won't be there in five years. Difficult to get to, since left turn opportunities on NJ-70 are few and far between. Clean and well-kept, but very noisy due to the highway; only the most basic of room amenities. Hotel is next to the Brick Diner, a good place to eat. There are limited hotel options in the area, but the Hilton Garden Inn farther along NJ-70 would be a better option for those who can afford it.
- Derek (8/5): - It was quick and easy to sign in and sign out. Very quiet too
- Natasha (8/5): Very good -
- William (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cohen (3/5): Poor - Very old premises, a strange odor came from the room and bedding. We didn't like anything.
- Donna (1/5): horrible - nothing room was filthy gross
- Frederick (6/5): Pleasant -
- Rosa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ian (5/5): Passable -
- Yigal (3/5): Poor -
- Chrisyb1221 (2/5): Overpriced - Rooms are dirty. Walls, floors, bathtub all dirty. Shower had mildew. Not enough soap, shampoos, towels. Woman at desk was rude when I requested extra supplies. Bedspread had a cigarette burn all the way through. They have gone way down in the last couple of years. The Hilton is only $50 more a night and is much higher quality. Don't waste your money!!!
- Gene (2/5): - Very run down, and dirty.
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (3/5): Disappointing for the cost. Robbery. - not much dirty
- Elizabeth (2/5): - The room was 15 feet from the highway. There was a gap at the bottom of the door about 2-3 inches. Felt unsafe. Very dark inside .only had a folding chair to sit on .
- Anthony (8/5): Very comfortable - Didn't have breakfast
- Ehsan (3/5): Poor - just the location was near my work
- Robert (6/5): It was basic and adequate. - It was adequate and reasonably priced. The mattress was very comfortable. We were glad that there was a mini-refrigerator. There was no rack with hangers to hang anything. We had to bring our own alarm clock. A box of tissues would have been helpful. There was no coffee in the room.
- William (6/5): Pleasant -
- Darnell (7/5): Good -
- Jose (3/5): Was fair - close to major highways They didn’t change bath towels , a lot a traffic noise at nighttime.
- Gary (9/5): Superb - Location was great, room was clean and comfortable. Check in was quick. The price was high for what it was, but less than other rooms around so I guess it was fair.
- Lawrence (5/5): Passable -
- Anonymous (6/5): the family that runs it are great people the room was not work 246. I was mortified by the appearance - it was CLES the chair for the desk was disgusting. they should throw it out and buy a chair it is 20. also one of the dresser was missing a handle.
- Defrank (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kate (6/5): way overpriced, facility was ok for what we needed - the bed was comfy way overpriced for what you’re getting, not enough pillows and there was an old used wet towel hanging in the bathroom when we got there
- Estevao (2/5): - .
- Billie (6/5): Pleasant -
- Doris (6/5): - Too close to road
- Kristin (4/5): this is not a good place to stay and wouldn’t stay here it’s not worth the money just wanted a decent place for my famil - i liked the way we were able to walk a lot of places first of all our sheets were dirty, and before we had all of our stuff out they threw our food and Starbucks stuff away as well as new food tv didn’t work correctly and not willing to do things for people really bad experience
- Mary (6/5): - Hotel is clean but dated. It is right on the highway and can be noisy. Air conditioner worked great but was very noisy.
- Dmytro (6/5): - No good, no bad
- kim (10/5): Nice place to stay! - Not too far from the beach, nice rooms and every nice staff.
- Donald (8/5): - Had to switch rooms, felt like things crawling on me. But no bites or evidence. Got my room switched with no hassle at all.
- DANIEL (10/5): - The service and the cleanliness were excellent! The property isn't what you'd think of as a 5-star accommodation but the personal service and especially the cleanliness are much better than in a typical 5-star accommodation. Certain amenities (tissues, enough drawer and closet space) were lacking and one electrical outlet was in disrepair but those minor things did not detract from an overall excellent experience.
- Constance (6/5): Meh - Overall it was a good stay. There are no lamps in the rooms, just overhead light. There was a drawer that was broken too. Looked kinda shabby. But the room was clean and the ac worked well. Good if you just need a place to sleep and nothing else
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Location
- 5gennad (2/5): Nasty 🤢 - There was bed bugs and cockroaches the room smelled like weed the beds were dirty there was no clean towels carpet was wet I opened the door and there was a cockroach LOOKING at me we left and they did not give out money back
- Barkev (10/5): - Nice and clean only 15 from point pleasant boardwalk
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Not enough parking. Run down Spartan rooms.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Place was clean. WiFi can definitely weak depending what room you are in.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - There wasn’t enough parking. The price too high for zero amenities. The wifi falls off every other hour.when I added a comment “looking for quiet clean room, wifi necessary” I was called & told I should “go elsewhere if I’m that concerned about about wifi & good bed”, that they are not a franchise hotel. So don’t expect kind people.Bring your own toilettes & cleaning supplies!! The only good thing about this motel is it’s location.
- Edgar (2/5): Nasty & Dirty!!! - It was Scary the fact that it smelt like Urine, 1-Roll of Paper toilet for 4 guest, dingy Towels with holes on them, The Bathroom Door didn’t lock at all, The Toilet Seat was Broken to the point that every time you was going to use it the seat would fall on the Floor, I asked for another Room but it was denied all he told me was that we can leave and will get a Refund but where else was I going to fine a Room for 4 on Labor Day Weekend? I will Never return to that Motel again and will not Recommend it to NO ONE!!
- Manny (10/5): - Great customer service. Close to everything! Overall 10
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Not worth the price. First room had cigarette burns in the comforter. Front desk assisted in getting us a new room.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The hotel is located 5 miles from the Point Pleasant Boardwalk. Was the best price in the area. Was satisfactory for my two day stay to attend a wedding.
- Heather (6/5): Bad, Run far away - Room was never cleaned while there and staff was rude and used the F wording
