Guest Reviews
- Hansen (6/5): - Clean room better
- Allan (10/5): - Good value for money, good bts and river links within 15 minutes walk.
Would definitely stay there again.
- Christopher (10/5): - This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. The service is great, the staff are very helpful. The swimming pool on the roof is a bonus. Getting up in a morning and going for a swim is always a great thing to be able to do.
The hotel is in a quiet area, so great for families. The nearest BST station is Surasak, and is only a short walk from the hotel. Makes getting around Bangkok and travel to the airport very easy.
There is a 7 eleven a short walk away from the hotel, and some very nice places to eat locally. Patpong night market is a 30 min walk away (or you can go by car/bike) which has some amazing street food stalls, including a nice lady making banana, egg, chocolate roti 😊
If you want a nice, quiet place to stay in Bangkok, I would highly recomend you check out this hotel.
- Phetnikone (10/5): - This place is within walking(.25 mile) to the BTS and to the river(.7 mile). It’s in a small alley road. Feels like you are a local living there. 7-Eleven is 100 meters away with local street food from moms and pops . It is an older place, but nice. We stayed for 6 nights and walked to BTS and Boat pier to Iconsiam.
- thajvis (6/5): - worst part about his place is that it's next to a graveyard. had i known that, i wouldn't have booked it. but, the staff is super nice and helpful. honestly, that's the only bad thing. the pool on the roof is interesting, didn't use it. but it's there. onsite restaurant is decent, but they were out of a few menu items i had tried to order. the bed is super firm. that would be my next gripe.
- jeffrey (4/5): - Tvs that rarely worked and when it did, there was not one english speaking channel, although almost every guest was an english speaking westener.worked and when they did
- Timothy (10/5): - Great value for the money. The WiFi is not good and that is my only negative. Great place
- Finn (10/5): - .
- Michelle (8/5): - Its a quiet hotel with a lift. Not social at all so difficult to meet people but its a nice clean place to sleep. The air conditioning made noises but worked. Bathroom has a full size bathtub. Location is great also. Located in a narrow road a very short walk to the BTS. HOWEVER, its far from packpackers area of khaosan road. So depends on what you are looking for. Its a quiet area that is mostly locals only.
- jesyb2024 (2/5): AWFUL EXPERIENCE, I WOULD SAY IT IS A SCAM!!! - I booked this place for a couple of nights, I contacted the hotel because I was traveling with my family with little kids and we were going to be arriving earlier that what we expected, at 5AM. They reply back informing me that there were no problem because someone will be in the reception area to check us in. I was there at 5.30 AM and none was there, the reception area pictures did not match with the one on the website and to be honest, I did not felt safe there. Even the taxi did not recommend me the hotel and the area. I ended up leaving for another hotel and Sathorn Saint View NEVER contacted us back, never return the money, never gave a voucher or even an apology or explanation of what could happen. They were very happy just taking my money, I called them several times and until now I did not received any answer. It was an awful experience, I strongly DO NOT recommend this place!
- Nicholas (6/5): - Could have had a kettle in the room but other than that it was quiet and relaxing
- Thierry (6/5): - The pool is very small and doesn't look clean. The gym was...abandoned and dirty, There was no sauna although mentioned in the hotel description. The place looks like its falling apart. Its sad. It must have been something special a long time ago.
- Erich (8/5): - Area is very quiet and safe 👍
- Erich (8/5): - Interestingly designed structural base.
- Dennis (6/5): Nice but not great - My stay was okay. The room was acceptable although the bathroom wasn't really nice. You can eat at the restaurant and it's pretty good. The cleaning is okay, the service is okay, some people seem really uninterested and don't even greet, some are very friendly. The lobby is pretty but warm, the pool is small but nice. Only opened 7am to 8pm
- Muriel (10/5): - Nice people
- Allan (8/5): - Its got a sort of funky vibe. Quite homely actually. I like older places and liked the surrounding area. In pretty good condition given its age. Has bathtub, big plus ! Restaurant definitely below par. But 3 or 4 good cheap choices with 5bto 8 mins walk.
Do check out your airconditioner before accepting the room
I had such a noisy aircon I changed room
- CECILLE (2/5): - Very filthy, smell very bad.we had to book another hotel we cannot sleep in the hotel its very very very very dirty and very very very disappointing!
- Chieh-Min (6/5): - Good, cheap but outdated. Attached toilet was not in the best of shape but operational. Ok for the price. Good AC.
Good local area next to BTS station (5 min walk)
- Verified traveler (2/5): Worst place I've stayed - It's the worst hotel I've been to.
I've been all over Vietnam, Cambodia, and South America and by far this was the worst place.
- robert (6/5): - Had probs regulating aircon- too cold. Most staff had little to no english.
- Marion (2/5): - Sale.
- DrErsatz (6/5): Basic large room with small fridge & microwave, stairs throughout hotel - I stayed in Dec 2023 1Q bed for about $22/n (14-16 at front desk) with good longer term rates. Check-in was easy(PP & form), staff friendly. Room was large, clean, small fridge, microwave, wifi okay, A/C excellent, low hard bed, bathroom & furniture need updating/repair, most power on detachable key-card lock. Pool is small, you need a balcony if you are smoking. Parking (?), taxi in/out via narrow one lane alley. Hotel is 7 min walk from Surasak BTS though some narrow alleys. Finding this hotel is a walk and only small shops/convenience stores nearby. Many longer term residents. Water refills via machine at 1฿/L so save your 1+ liter bottles.
- Jesper (8/5): Nice Hotel in a quiet area - Nice hotel in a quiet part of Bangkok.
The Hotel is close to the Surasak BTS station. The streets towards to hotel is small and narrow so be aware of that.
The room was clean and staff was very friendly.
The rooftop area with the pool is really nice and a great view over some of the city. The pool itself is not that big.
a 7-11 is a few minutes walk away.
Further there's a small night and food market place, if you cross the small bridge and cross the road.
Ill definetly recommend this place if you wanna avoid the big city noise.
- Nwobi (8/5): - Cool
- Grahame (8/5): - Old world charm with woodwork, fountains and greenery. Pool on top. Great city views. Shop sells drinks and lots of snacks. Bistro next door. Did not dine at hotel. Daily servicing if desired. Staff except receptionist were helpful. A great budget stay except old spring beds and chunky pillows could be improved upon.
- Zack (6/5): - Large room in the middle of busy area. Budgeted! With family, you could save money. Clean tower , shower soup, shampoo and large fridge are included. the smell like old or bad water is very strong in the lobby somehow and walkway area . it might be a large fish tank they have. I wasn’t feeling good when I found cemetery is neibour. The smell and cemetery is really dissatisfied this large , cheap hotel however.
- Daniela (8/5): - You get what you paid for. Definitely functional and okay but not the Ritz. Needs a deep clean and TLC. That being said, the staff is friendly and the place is interesting, like out of a David Lynch movie. I kept finding fish tanks. With gold fish/koi. There is a restaurant on-site that has a bambi statue WITH antlers. The area is walkable. Lots of suff nearby. I enjoyed finding the switches for various light bulbs in my room. The internet was annoying because I had to log back in every time I left the room (but once logged in, it worked). There is a cool laundry shop next door. I think it's potentially better for a long term stay than a short term stay because then you could take time to make your room nice and homey - there is potential. Phoebe from Friends would love this place and do meditation sessions in the yard. Monica from Friends would don the cleaning gloves. Joey would enjoy the pool table and the wooden indoor swing. Oh yeah there is a pool but I never went. Okay you get the picture.
- 178danisd (2/5): Worst experience ever - 1 star is such a praise for this property. I am not sure of its a hotel at all. We checked in our room and immediately the issues started. The room was not for human beings. It was very old, the furniture were damaged and the dirt was in another lever. There were rust everywhere and hair all over the place, not only the bed. There were cables unattended with electricity which is so dangerous. Imagine to go somewhere to relax and have unattended naked cables. We left the room within 5 minutes and went to the reception. We explained everything with a very calm manner and asked for a relocation or a refund. Nothing was given to us. Not even the courtesy to clean the room. The staff simply did not care about you. Not even a shread of dignity.
Stay away from this place for your own good. I work in the hospitality industry so I know that sometimes it's challenging to have everything perfect for the guests but this was just a hotel that was not safe for anyone in general. See the pictures and you will understand. The most disgusting place I have ever been in my life. Just stay away, it doesn't worth the risk .
- andreastD7244OR (8/5): Good experience - This hotel has a nice location and makes a great Tom yum! It's in a rather quiet part of Bangkok which i think is nice. It's a healthy walk away from where the "party street" is, but it's nothing more than a quick tuk tuk ride away. The hotel also offers to clean your clothes for a small price.
The staff on this hotel is very friendly and very helpful. Not everyone is speaking english at the hotel but it's what to be expected. The rooms have all the basics and is clean, and there is a 7/11 nearby wich is nice if you are traveling light, like I am. The swimming pool was also clean and they have a very small fitness on top of the hotel. All in all a very good experience for me.
- nuntapong (6/5): - 1.
- Mike (10/5): - Good value for the money.
- 856drus (8/5): Was there 3 weeks - So much to do in the area ....lots of good food outlet and street bbq's......when I lazy eating at the in the restaurant down stair was good byo off course food was good and cheap also, small shop in the lobby and a laundry service which same day if dropped off early......lots of smiles from the staff and the room was clean daily...for a cheap stay I was impressed..... an older hotel dont expect 5 star on a budget and then you wont be disappointed...... my room had a microwave and a small kitchen in the lounge area... so I had bedroom separate lounge area and large bathroom enjoyed my stay Jan 20 to Feb 10....suited my budget
- robert (10/5): - Great place that has it all
- Jesus-V-F-H (4/5): Not what you expect... - Not even close to what you see in the pictures. Even though the "apartment" was spacious, the installations inside were terrible poor and in really bad conditions. Not even the remote control from the AC work... Avoid. There are far better places for the same price or even cheaper.
- Maria (10/5): Unique place - Had a great time .
Staff are amazing.
Bathrooms could do with a makeover
- Fre (10/5): - It is near in the BTS station, has rooftop pool with great view. Room is spacious. Highly recommended
.
- SuzieLim (2/5): Poor room quality - You smell an unpleasant odor immediately as you step into the hotel. I supposed its to be accepted?
Most disappointing is, they don't have any cups or water kettle in the room. I have two children and I need hot water to make their drinks. Nor do they provide any hand towel or floor rug for the toilet. You step out of your shower and wet the whole toilet floor and room! It was very unpleasant and messy!
Before arrival, we made sure to check whether they provide hair dryer and they replied that we could get it from the reception. However, after we checked in we were told that hair dryer is only available in the morning??!!! I had to sleep with wet hair in the night!
Even their hot shower wasn't working properly and I was told no hot shower??!! We finally had that sorted out after I voiced my displeasure. They really could do better with the room amenities! Terrible quality!
- GuyTravels1 (2/5): AVOID !!!!!!!!!!!! - I'm not one to usually complain, but I feel something needs to be said about this place.
firstly it's hard to find. secondly when I eventually arrived they checked me in, using a photocopy of my passport as I couldn't find the original which put me in a panic to start with - thet couldn't care less !!!!!!
got took to my room , my god what a disgrace. seriously I wouldn't of let a dog sleep on the bed.
you could see the bed was filthy, you didn't even need to touch it.
I was in the room checking through me luggage fir my passport when the girl came back. they moved me to another room , even worse.
she came told me to follow her , I said I was looking for my passport- not interested.
she walked out got in the lift and left me in the corridor then came back for me realizing I wasnt with her. I was fuming.
eventually got thrown into another room, absolutely filthy. looked through all my things- no passport.
I went downstairs to reception and asked if they could phone my previous hotel to see if it was in the room - they were not interested again.
i walked away to the cave they call a room, got my luggage and passed them the key as I walked out.
DIGUSTING , DIRTY , DO NOT DREAM OF STAYING THERE
- SQL (8/5): - This property is 6 minutes walk for me to the BTS station so it is really convenient to get around Bangkok. This place is a little bit old but it is really clean. It’s a budget place so do not come with too high expectations.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Although alittle walk from the main street SSV was very nice. Large room, great Air Con, good wifi, ni e city view w/ balcony 👌 check in was smooth and overrall nice experience
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very Friendly staff and good location !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- wanderingbedu (8/5): Good for a cheap stopover - This is located a walk or motorcycle taxi away from the BTS Surasak station. It has restaurants and a 7-11 store nearby. They upgraded me from a windowless room to one with a window.
+Friendly staff.
+Free water, shampoo and soap.
+English TV channels.
+Good food in the restaurant, however, a little overpriced.
-Noise from other residents.
-The bed mattress needs replacing, and some of the lightbulbs do as well.
-Not a problem for me, however, some people may be disturbed by the call to prayer at the local mosque.
- AndyH531 (8/5): Good place - Good place to stay very good price, I booked a room with no window and they upgraded me to two rooms very big and very quiet, people where fine restaurant is ok not expensive just a little bit more than local restaurants outside and food was good. Swimming pool is on the roof small but ok, I will stay there again if I’m in this area of Bangkok.
- Lyncloe (6/5): Correct but ... - We have spent 5 nights in a deluxe room.
The room was big, good point but the facilities in the bathroom were bad.
Everything was broken (light, shelf above the lavatory, towel holder).
Also, they don't provide towel and blanket for the bed... You have to pay for it...
Otherwise, it's a good quarter! You can find easily something to eat. There is also a 7eleven in the same street.
The staff was nice!
The swimming pool was a good point too! Nice view!
There is a BTS station really close.
- philip (8/5): Good comfortable hotel for the price - Yes the place is dated but considering the price and other places in bangkok it is good value. The room I had was very large and spacious and with good air conditioning and a large clean fridge. The bathroom and again resonable size but dated the shower was about 4foot high max and with no extra hose to even lift it up hardly which was a problem as I'm 6"2. Afew nice touches like bananas and 2 large bottles of water on arrival.
The limited Gym is extremely old but if you know what your doing you can still put together abit of a workout.
Location is ok, just away from the BTS station about 7minutes walk resonable area can see all the fancy tall buildings but this is just set back from that area down afew back streets.
Overall if your looking somewhere decent to put your head at a good price this is perfect if your looking for a fancy hotel with all the perks and some newness to it this isn't for you.
- mariakT4451JQ (10/5): BEST HOTEL IN BKK, GREAT VALUE - Best hotel in BKK! Highly recommended as great value, rooftop pool with spectacular Bangkok skyline as a backdrop and with all the greenary around the hotel - it really is a perfect little oasis amidst the BKK chaos. BTS 5 mins away and taxis 150 Baht to KhoaSan etc. Our room was also upgraded too...amazing staff, really great place - see you again soon! :) :) :)
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Proximity to a lot of local food and shoping and relatively close to BTS Surasak
- Ekaterina (8/5): Good location and service, old renovation - Friendly staff, all the requirements were satisfied; 24h reception, additional bedsheets if needed - room was really big (not 100% clean but OK for us as we do not live there, only stayed for nights), bed linen is old with spots but clean. Good location, 8 min by foot from Surasak bts and the same - from Sathorn pier. Will come back for 1 night stay :)
- Szh.E (6/5): - Good location. Walkable to BTS and good food nearby. Had a noisy hotel neighbour and the staff assisted to manage the situation well. However, water pressure in bathroom is way too small and building is a little old.
- William (8/5): - The hotel is a budget hotel - so, if you are expecting a budget hotel, you will be very happy with what you find. The staff are friendly. The rooms are cleaned daily. The lobby and other public areas are clean. The location is fine...easy access to some restaurants with good food and to the BTS. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again when in the market for a budget hotel. Thank you to the staff!
- 528jazmint (10/5): Clean and Friendly Staff - I am here for 2 months and Saint View was recommended by my school....the staff is super friendly, it is clean and affordable! ...it is very centric and I really enjoy my time here. It has a nice pool and gym to use and it is in a safe neighborhood!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice - Okay ro stay close to the cemetery and the Muslim next playing hims all night upset the sleep a bit
- Prattyush (8/5): Nice service apartment - The staff were very good and friendly! The rooms have balconies and I got a nice view of the city from my room. Smoking is allowed. The terrace has a pool good enough for a couple of beers and some back strokes :-) It's value for money and quite a decent place.
Only issue is that the location from the BRT is quite bit of a walk, about 10 mins through narrow winding lanes, which are literally a car wide
- Alexander (10/5): Totally enjoyed my stay in Executive room - An old-fashioned and well-kept city resort. I very much liked the atmosphere. Very nice and friendly staff. Huge lobby with different spaces to sit or play (pool table, ...). Inexpensive restaurant on site. Very spacious and rather comfortable Executive room, with big balcony and great view. The best part is the rooftop, a green oasis with fitness center, small pool and lovely garden, a great place to spend a few lazy moments or do exercise, with Bangkok's skyline in view. Internal noise (ex. people talking or moving things in nearby rooms) could be an issue though, as there's no soundproofing at all.
- Renato (10/5): - Great location, nice pool
- bluesman_10 (8/5): Basic good - Little bit old and dated hotel but still clean and for the price it is fine.
Pay few dollar more and get room with window or balcony and it wont smell.
Grand executive rooms pays you only little bit more but gives you double more than basic room.
Nice rooftop area with swimmingpool and lot of green plants in good condition ,tables and chairs to chill and relax.
Basic on-site restaurant with limited opening hours. Not for romantic dinner or fine dining but cheap, basic & good thaifood to eat.
Beers and softdrinks priced ok.
Good compromise if you want reasonable swimmigpool hotel near sathorn and silom with reasonable price.
- gemmacW3870SW (2/5): Awful smelly, dirty place. Do not book. - We were checked into our room after having trouble finding the place. The hotel has an odd layout and we were shown to our room accompanied by a cleaner who sprayed it with air freshener as we walked in with her to mask the scent. The beds were old, sheets yellow and we couldn’t not get past the smell so left without staying. The hotel would not give us a refund on our room. Do not stay here. It smells absolutely awful- full of smoke, musty and damp.
- Ivan (10/5): Nice outdated hotel. - It was a nice stay. Rooms are outdated (expecially a bed) and awful paperthin blanket.
Everything else is perfect tho.
Huge rooms, big refrigerator, a bathtub, working WiFi, welcoming staff. Will definitely stay again.
- RichP339 (4/5): Not the best - This was the first place my girlfriend and I stayed on our 6 month trip around south east Asia. Writing this review six months after staying, it is now very very clear to me that there is thousands of better places to stay in Bangkok for less money. The location of the apartments is good, but the rooms are out dated, the shower barely worked, the bathroom smelt, overall hygiene wasn't that great and it's just generally a weird building with a weird layout. The roof area and little dip pool are nice however, the only thing saving this place from getting a terrible.
- Rachel (6/5): Inconvenient location, - You get what you pay for, really. Don’t expect too much from this place. Was decent at best.
Location: 15min walk from the nearest BTS. We took a GrabBike out to the BTS every day because it was a long walk. Roads are pretty narrow and small so Uber/Grab cars may take some time to arrive as it can get tight. Nice halal bistro right next door.
Room: spacious big room for a couple. Nice little balcony with a Muslim cemetery in view. Sunsets can be quite beautiful. Mosque nearby have their prayers pretty loudly at 5am - light sleepers take note.
Aircon worked well. There was no fan though. Bed was a huge king-sized bed that was quite uncomfortable - it was hard and felt weird. Blanket was pathetically thin, they rub against your feet (if you have dry heels) and can get annoying.
They provide little bottles of shower gel and shampoo, no toothbrush or toothpaste, and they do not change your towels every day. Toilet had a bathtub that had no stopper (???). Overall, relatively clean and big room with a safe, but it’s the little things that are annoying.
WiFi: Felt like a sham - free, but limited to only 1 device - device you log in with will be the only device you can access wifi from for your stay. Wifi is much better in the lobby/bistro next door.
Staff were friendly, lobby was pretty nice to chill at. Rooftop had a pool and lovely views of the city.
Pretty decent for the price paid, but maybe a more modern hostel at a convenient location would be a better choice.
- Alexander (10/5): - Very nice and helpful stuff.
- ChrisB (8/5): Clean, Cosy & Friendly .... and v cheap! - Very nice for a budget hotel
- David (8/5): Great Staff - Really friendly staff. Honest and Genuine.
- Elliot (8/5): Comfortable - It's a comfortable place. They have a nice seating area and lobby, but it was so hot and humid in Bangkok that I opted for my air conditioned room instead.
- hervepalo (6/5): Nice place for tourist or stay - Nice place , this Hotels & rooms for rent days or weeks or monthly
good services swimming pool and fitness rooms on the roof
nearly ,, restaurant and BTS not far ( surassak ) station
not far to french ambassy and not far central MBK
and not far to silom
- Renato (10/5): Great stay in sathorn. Close to everything - Amazing rooftop pool. Large rooms
Also Anis Bistro next door is excellent food and very cheap
- warmbeerhater (8/5): Great fun! - Rooftop pool, with priceless views. Lots of friendly residents and repeat visitors. Sathorn is generally very high rent, so this is a bit of a gem. Dated but clean...good staff. Cut through to the BTS...maybe not a good place for Disney type tourists....not a great dining selection, but adequate.
- Jewls (6/5): Good sized fridge! - Staff were friendly, room was old but comfortable, there was an elevator, but you have to climb a few steps to get to your room after using the lift. Bit of a winding road inside to find the hotel, but still close to BTS. Was a nice quiet area.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice place to stay to explore the surasat area - Not too far from surasat bts station, only 20baht if you want to take the motorcycle. Along the way into the small soi, you can find food and massage. There is a mosque and also a graveyard near the hotel
- sam (6/5): Nice staff but smelly areas in the building - We arrived quite easily as we knew exactly where to go. Check in was very simple and they let us check in 3 hours early as we arrived very early in Bangkok. We had to use the washroom downstairs and it smelled of very strong cat urine and feces. The floor above as well smelled of poo. But the room was fine. Bed a little hard but comfy. And the air con was so noisy I had to wear earplugs every night. There was a crusty chunky thing in the sink as well. Not sure what it was.
The pool was nice tho. And the gym my boyfriend loved. No fan tho so it gets quite hot. We had to check out but were still allowed to stay the day at the pool and lounging until our train. Overall enjoyed our stay but probably wouldn't choose there again.
- MIKA (8/5): ok clean rooms at that price - Not the best hotel, but what can you get for that price? Good at that price
- Michael (2/5): Do not book - This "hotel" is located on a back alley, sandwiched between two cemeteries. It is a rotting corpse of what it might have once been decades ago. Lobby and hallway smelled of sewage, shower hose sprayed all over the bathroom, fixtures are rotted out and the headboard was broken. The "blanket" was paper thin, and AC unit made a loud whining noise all night. A local came to hang out and was scared by both the location and state of the building. Stacks of wood littered with cigarettes flanked the elevator doors in first and and fourth floor. I didn't check the others, but I assume the same. Residents were mostly foreign college students, and they packed the lobby at all hours on laptops. If I wasn't such a hearty traveler I probably would have said forget the prepaid booking and found somewhere better. The friend mentioned above worked in hospitality and told me that I could have found better for the same price with little trouble in BKK. Save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere.
- Benjamin (8/5): Sathorn Saint View - I had a fantastic time staying here at Saint View. The room was great, the food at the restaurant was really good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Wifi in the room was fast and always worked. Easy location to get around Bangkok, just a little bit of a walk to the BTS. Great value for money!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Excellent hotel for very little money - Not easy to find but a fabulous place to stay. Cheap rooms that are huge with very large bed, desk, table and chairs, en-suite with bath, air con and fridge! Hotel has a lovely pool on the roof with great views. Highly recommend.
- Sam (10/5): - Very good
- Jonathan (8/5): Mixed Feelings, but Good Overall - The room was really spacious at a low price, well, considering I also got discounts because I stayed for a week and I booked early. What I love most is the privacy I can enjoy. Room was equipped with mini ref and microwave, allowing me to reduce food costs while on a holiday in Bangkok. Information or Front Desk staff don't really speak English so there can be miscommunications especially when you're not open to learning Thai language. There's one staff there who can speak English at least clearly. Considering this is a serviced apartment, they have a no-visitor policy though, which was a bummer for me. But maybe that's a good thing for security reasons though. You need to inform the management a day before when you want to have someone stay in your room. The serviced apartment is in a residential area, and you have to walk a few minutes from the main road through alleyways. The location was good for me, until there were two nights (I usually come home walking at night) when a neighbour's dog (different neighbour / different dog each night) was on my path and it was barking fiercely to the point that I have to go the other way around the block to get home to the hotel. Scary night. You can hire bike but I prefer walking. Overall, my stay has been great and I have no additional charges during check out (I was worried because it was a serviced apartment and with the low room rates, I thought I would be shouldering the electricity and water bills.). Thanks, Saint View. :D
- shiema (2/5): bad location - its a very bad location..my room view are muslim grave and the hotel is so not convenient. I straight away change hotel on the same day.
- Andy (4/5): Disappointment At Its Best - We arrived a bit late and so we checked in early for the next day. The neighborhood is a bit something that I never expected, it's located in a one-way alley that is far from the main road or any other centers (shopping, culture, etc). The person who greeted us doesn't speak English and we ended up paying in advance and he was insisting that he keep the original receipt. Clearly, in our hotel policy, that we can pay upon arrival or when checking out. We were assigned to a room on the second floor, which I won't recommend to elderly people because their steps are way to steep. We booked a 3-bedroom space (2 beds and an extra bed) but I ended up sleeping on the couch with no extra pillow and blanket or even cover for the couch. Overall, we think that the area isn't safe and worth the price so we decided to transfer to another hotel the next day, with the same rate yet even better services.
- Mr H (6/5): Convenient and good value - The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the Sky Train station of Surasek.
It is also convenient for the night market at Phat Pong being a 20-25 minute walk away.
The hotel is located in a quiet area along a number of alleyways although the nearby mosque does have a loud speaker.
I upgraded to an executive room which was large, clean and comfortable, although could have done with modernising. It also had a balcony.
The rooftop pool is a definite plus and the views of Bangkok are really good.
Had breakfast in the restaurant which was convenient and ok.
Would stay in the hotel again if I needed to be in this area of Bangkok.
- Richard (8/5): Value for money - lIts an average 2 star apartment with spacious rooms, a good pool, bath tub. The neighborhood is residential. However if you need a taxi you hav to walk to the main road which is 650m away.
- Beverly (8/5): Good place to stay in Bangkok - Friendly, helpful staff. Room cleaned & sheets changed daily. Great view from west facing rooms. Refreshing roof top pool. Short walk to Surasak station, linking you to all of Bangkok. A couple of great little eateries nearby. I'd definitely stay again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - overall a good experience however communication with staff difficult because of lack of english with some staff
