Situé en centre ville ce qui permet de se promener, pas grand chose à faire, ni à voir à part le marché. la gare n'est pas loin, c’est le coté pratique. Bruit assez pénible, provenant du puit à priori.... c'est régulier et sur des durées régulières et longues, mais de mémoire, pas la nuit!

Dear Goa Woodlands / Hotel Management Team, I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding an unpleasant experience I had at your hotel on July 10, 2025, specifically involving the receptionist on duty that day (Libra). Upon my arrival, I found her behavior to be unprofessional and unnecessarily confrontational. The receptionist not only spoke in an arrogant and unnecessarily loud tone, but she also refused to allow any guest to visit my room without providing a valid explanation. When I asked to speak with her supervisor or manager to address my concerns, she declined my request. However, after a few minutes, I was informed by someone else that Mr. Yash Sir, the MD of the hotel, could be contacted for escalation. I asked the receptionist for his contact number or for her to inform him to call me back, but to my dismay, five days have passed, and I have not received any communication from him or any management-level follow-up. It is deeply troubling that not only was I treated disrespectfully at the reception, but despite raising my concern and requesting to speak with someone in charge, no action has been taken. I also made sure to mention these issues in the feedback form, but to date, I have not received any acknowledgment or resolution. If there were any personal issues she was facing, it is unfortunate, but they should not have been projected onto a guest. Such behavior negatively impacts the reputation of the hotel and reflects poorly on its management and service standards. As someone who values professionalism and courteous service, I believe it’s essential for your front-desk staff to maintain a respectful and calm demeanor at all times. I sincerely hope this issue is addressed promptly, and I would appreciate a response acknowledging my concerns along with the necessary steps taken to ensure this does not happen again. • SWATI (10/5): - The location of this hotel is very central. The area is safe and the access to public transportation makes it ideal for business travelers as well as families. The staff is very courteous and helpful. We were very happy with the service and look forward to booking at this hotel again for future trips.

Live Counter for Items like Dosa, Egg omelet or scrambled egg could have added to the experience. Two Wheeler Parking was good but a shade/cover could have been constructed to protect the bikes.

• Ps (2/5): Big room sizes, centrally located but lacks many a things! - Centrally located. Nice surrounding. Fairly clean flooring of the room. Decent room sizes. Average breakfast. Room with ruined and paint chipped off walls. The room was extremely inadequately lit. Needed more lighting for sure. WiFi never worked on my gadgets during the entire stay. TV remote not available in the room. Nor synced to STB remote. Every time one had to get up to switch on or switch off the TV. The housekeeping staff claimed the bath towels were newly bought. But the problem was that those towels weren't soaking water. Despite request for change, nothing was done by the housekeeping team.

• Phylisia (9/5): Ideal location, reasonably priced, good food. - Lunch/Dinner was good, breakfast was also enjoyable with a different buffet selection each day which was nice. The location is perfect if you want to explore Margao market area, it's within a short walking distance. Staff were polite and accommodating by letting us checkout a couple of hours later. Lots of mosquitos in the bathroom. No remote for the air con and the control panel was not close to the bed so had to get out to adjust the temperature. Lighting is a bit dim but there's plenty of daylight during the day!

On 2nd day, paratha was served as breakfast. my kids did not like it at all. usually we eat paratha for lunch or dinner. idli, Upama, wada, uttappa with sambhar/chutney are good options for breakfast. There was cake for breakfast but it contained egg. since we are vegetarians we could not eat it. suggestion - toaster does not work properly. if possible let someone help with the toaster

• Poornananda (8/5): Comfortable stay at Goa - Our stay at Goa Woodlands was very comfortable. Frontdesk is efficient and customer friendly. Rooms are spacious, comfy beds, clean washrooms. Hotel location is very convenient with amazing restaurants and Madgoan Market in walking distances. Colava Beach is 15 minute's drive and is awesome.
