Nous n avons pas pu profiter de l extérieur ( piscine et jardin) L établissement n y est évidemment pour rien.

• Bas (9/5): Super verblijf in Galatina - Eigenaar vluchtig gesproken en spreekt geen Engels. Maar ontbijt elke ochtend is zeer goed en een super vriendelijke mevrouw die je helpt. Spreekt geen Engels maar wel heel goed Frans. Mooi zwembad en je bent met ongeveer 15 minuten lopen in het zeer levendige centrum. Galatina is een mooie plaats met ruim aanbod van restaurants en terrasjes. Verblijf was super. Zaten aan het eind van de dag muggen bij het zwembad. Maar daar kan de eigenaar natuurlijk ook niks aan doen.

• Pascale (10/5): Mooie b&b met alle comfort in Galatina - Zeer verzorgd ontbijt. Prachtige kamer en badkamer. De tuin met zwembad en zonnebedden was zeer welkom na een uitstap in de hitte. Er waren fietsen aanwezig die je vrij kon gebruiken. Vlotte in- en uitcheck. Jammer dat je enkel tijdens het ontbijt de mogelijkheid had om drank aan te kopen. Er is wel een koelkast op de kamer en er zijn winkels binnen wandelafstand, dus nu ook geen ramp…

Das Hotel ist liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Der Pool hat uns äußerst gut gefallen und im Garten sitzt man zum Frühstück und auch abends sehr schön. Betty, die Hotelmanagerin ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit dort Nicht gefallen hat uns nichts. Einzig das Frühstück könnte etwas umfangreicher sein. • Ainhoa (8/5): Ubicación estratégica para visitar el sur! - Nosotros elegimos este alojamiento como sitio estratégico para visitar varios puntos del sur y la verdad que a todos ellos llegábamos en media hora! La habitación que teníamos era grande y hemos descansado muy bien. El desayuno muy rico, merece la pena! Recomendamos visitar el pueblo de Galatina y en especial cenar en ‘Salumeria di turno’ :) Nos esperábamos el recinto de la piscina diferente y había muchos muchos mosquitos, no pudimos disfrutar de ella como queríamos… Podría ser la única pega de este alojamiento.

• Luca (10/5): Relax, comodità e ottima accoglienza - Antico Casale Li Pappi è una struttura pulita ed accogliente a due passi dal centro di Galatina. Le ragazze che si occupano della gestione del casale ti accolgono in un ambiente familiare e disponibile per ogni richiesta o consiglio. Le stanze sono grandi pulite e dotate di ogni comfort di base, la piccola piscina situata in giardino offre ristoro nelle giornate calde e nei piccoli momenti di pausa. La struttura è dotata di parcheggio privato all’aperto, ottimale per chi come noi ha scelto di girare la Puglia in macchina ed in questo modo non ha pensieri di parcheggi pubblici a pagamento o parcheggio su strada. Nota di merito anche per la colazione, ottimi i pasticciotti tipici del paese e le torte sfornate fresche, il tutto accompagnato dalla gentilezza ed il buon umore di chi si prende cura degli ospiti. Super consigliato!!

• Gea (9/5): Kleinschalige, sympathieke B&B: prima uitvalsbasis voor Salento - Sympathieke en centraal gelegen B&B, met 10 minuten lopen zit je in het oude centrum van Galatina (met veel restaurants). Uitstekende kamer en bedden. Elke dag een prima ontbijt met zoete en hartige opties en heerlijke koffie! Het wifi probleem op onze kamer werd snel opgelost. Fijne service van Betty (die goed Engels spreekt) en Johanna (zij spreekt Frans)! Eigen parkeerterrein. Aanbeveling voor iedereen die Salento wil verkennen. Galatina zelf is prachtig; vergeet niet de prachtige fresco's in de Basilica di Santa Caterina d’Alessandria te bewonderen!

• Bibiane (10/5): Eines der besten Quartiere auf unserer Rundreise durch Apulien - Wunderschöne saubere Anlage, tolles geräumiges Zimmer, schöner Pool und ein wirklich freundlicher Empfang, abgerundet durch ein ausgiebiges süßes und pikantes Frühstück! Und ein sehr sehr bequemes Bett. Herz was willst du mehr!!!! Gratis Parken am angeschlossenen Parkplatz! Zu Fuß 10 Minuten ins Zentrum!

• Ilse Huijbers-Nollen (9/5): - Een heel fijn verblijf gehad bij deze B&B in Galatina. Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Het ontbijt was goed verzorgd door Nicky en in het weekend door een andere medewerker. Het personeel gaf tips voor plaatsen en restaurants in de buurt. Lekker zwembad om in af te koelen op warme dagen in Puglia. De kamer & badkamer was heel schoon. Comfortabel bed, genoeg kasten om kleding/spullen in op te bergen. Kamers zien er nieuw en gerenoveerd uit. Airco werkt goed! Naast de B&B is een parkeerplaats voor de gasten, erg fijn om dichtbij te parkeren. Galatina is een leuke plaats met genoeg restaurants. Van de B&B naar het dorp is het ongeveer 15 minuten lopen. Vanuit Galatina is het makkelijk om verschillende plaatsen te bezoeken in het zuiden van Puglia. Absoluut een aanrader om te verblijven in Puglia!

• Benjamin (10/5): Schönes B&B in Galatina - Eine schönes kleines B&B mit allem was man braucht. Alle waren sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Man kann in wenigen Gehminuten die schöne Innenstadt von Galatina erreichen. Die Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet ist klein aber sehr lecker.

• Hannah (9/5): A wonderful, comfortable and welcoming stay, perfectly placed to explore Salento. - I really loved everything about Li Pappi, it was such a wonderful and comfortable place to return to after a day of exploring Salento. It’s very close to lots of amazing restaurants in Galatina and the staff was top notch. I can’t thank them enough for preparing a lovely breakfast and being so considerate. Special shoutout to Betty for being absolutely the best. The parking was secure, the bed and pillows were the most comfortable I had in 2 weeks in Italy and I loved little touches like the mini fridge and ample closet space. The shower pressure could be greatly improved but otherwise everything was perfect.
• Christian (5/5): Unsatisfactory stay altogether very disappointing when compared with what was announced! - The room was large . The bathroom was OK. I did not like the location of the property in Galatina. The surrounding were not nice with unfinished or abandoned buildings and certainly not in the best part of the town (see attached photos of the street). The parking itself looked like a vagrant lot and was not clean (see attached photos of the parking). We were welcomed without even any offer to help with the cases from the parking to the property. The breakfast was not the exceptional one we read about. It was just OK. Only one lady was pleasant and smiling at breakfast time. The zircon in the room made an odd noise not allowing us to sleep with it as if something was blocking the fan from turning freely. Ashtrays were left for days with cigarettes butts in the table of breakfast area.

• Ra (1/5): Never recommend this place to anyone - We had a terrible experience with this place. The apartment that was given to us did not correspond to the description and photos which were on the website when reserving it. The apartment which was advertised on the booking.com was described as Deloux Double Room and it contained beautiful photos of two large rooms. However, in reallity when we saw the apartment, it had one big room and one tiny room ( around 5m3) with bulk bed and no air conditioning! There were no photos of this tiny room placed on the website and no information that the room had no A/C. We would have never booked it if we knew this information!! Of course we didn’t want our kids to stay in such tiny room with no A/C for 5 nights. We felt cheated with the place and the host didn’t offer any proper solution. We were really shocked when one of the offers of the host was to rent another bigger room but for extra 100 euros / night. Therefore, we decided not to stay in that place and find another apartment in Puglia. But the biggest disappointment was that the host refused to refund our money! With the help of the Customer Service from booking.com the host finally refunded only part of the payment. Very, very sad they have such disrespectful attitude to their customers and don’t care about their reputation! The disrespectful attitude of the host. • BAS (10/5): Exceptional! - Everything was nice about the property. Galatina is basically 25 min from both coasts - Gallipoli or Otranto. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly - Grazie Alberto. Rooms were spacious and clean. I am clutching at straws but the breakfast could do with a change up every 2/3 days and only because we were staying for 9/10 days. Also some fried eggs or scrambled eggs would be enough. Don’t misunderstand me, the breakfast was lovely, just a variety every few days would top it off.

• Mackenzie (10/5): Beautiful property with the best host Alberto! - The property was a beautiful old building with so much character and charm. It has a gorgeous garden and pool which was amazing to enjoy in the summer heat. The rooms were beautiful too with very comfortable beds and cleaned every day by the very friendly housekeeper. The best part of our stay by far was the receptionist Alberto. He gave us recommendations for food, beaches, coffee, anything we needed and made sure we had the best stay in Italy. He remembered our coffee orders every morning and helped us with planning our daily adventures. Thank you for everything Alberto, our stay was incredible because of you! Loved everything!

El lugar era muy bonito y tranquilo con jardines y piscina. Todo estaba muy limpio. La ubicación era muy buena para moverse por las distintas zonas del sur. Además de poder aparcar fuera sin problema tenía parking. Estuvimos una noche.

• Alfredo (10/5): Un prezioso angolo di verde, storia e tradizione a Galatina. - Tutto! Ci è piaciuto davvero tutto! Dimora signorile, calda, accogliente, arredata con un gusto raffinatissimo. Splendido il giardino molto ben curato e con una piscina molto pulita e accattivante. Siamo stati ricevuti da Alberto, un giovane professionale, molto cordiale e simpatico che ci ha fatto sentire subito a nostro agio. La stanza dove ci ha gentilmente accompagnato era fresca, molto curata e con tutti i confort. Idem il bagno che merita una particolare menzione per la pulizia assolutamente perfetta. E questo grazie alla bravissima e gentilissima Alessia. Abbiamo dormito bene, in un ambiente silenzioso. La colazione molto invitante e curata personalmente da Alberto è stata un’ottimo viatico della giornata. Rapporto qualità/prezzo davvero eccellente. Molto interessanti e distribuiti qua e là dei bei pezzi di antiquariato a dimostrazione dell’origine di ottimo livello della struttura. Interessanti i pavimenti policromi derivanti da un uso del passato della struttura stessa adibita alla produzione di pavimenti in ceramica. Belli anche i richiami storici di alcuni manufatti a testimonianza di un passato dove forte deve essere stata la presenza di aspetti religiosi (targhe, quadri, statue ecc.). Bellissimo, ci torneremo. Magari con la speranza che la struttura possa essere aperta anche d’inverno. Nulla!

Betty, Alberto en zijn zus en de dame van de schoonmaak zijn het kloppend hart van Li Pappi!! Ze hielpen je met vanalles. Ontbijt was vers en lekker. Altijd in voor een fijn gesprek en goede informatie. Het zwembad was heerlijk en superschoon. Ook de tuin was lekker vertoeven met alle leuke zitjes. • Ginevra Poli (10/5): great place, good location - great location, 30 mins from beautiful beaches without having to pay the expensive hotels on the coast. Galatina is also a really nice city, we spent a day in the town visiting the local churches. Otranto is also easily reachable from Galatina. The hotel is clean, nice, good breakfast (including hams & similar for a change from the croissants). Niki who runs the place is kind, helpful, and keeps it all working. Pool is not big but perfect for cooling down during hot days. The restaurants in town are really good nothing!

Il bagno diviso in 3 parti anche quello grande e dotato di phon normale (non quelli da parete). Presenti anche 2 armadi per riporre tutte le cose. La camera era molto pulita e il cambio biancheria è stato fatto ogni 2/3 GG. Biciclette gratuite a disposizione dei clienti. Unica piccola pecca è l'assenza di finestra nel bagno. Comunque la ventola era abbastanza potente.
• Priscila Rossetto (10/5): Place where you feel at home. - This hotel was a pleasant surprise on our itinerary, a hotel where you feel at home, with incredible staff and a wonderful breakfast, there weren't lots of things but things were selected, I still dream about the goat cheese at the cafe... wonderful. The only thing is that I stayed in a family suite, which had 2 bedrooms, and the smaller room didn't have air conditioning, and it was very hot, but other than that, the hotel is spectacular.

• Marion (9/5): Havre de paix au cœur du Salento - Un endroit très calme, où on se sent en sécurité, un peu coupé du monde. La piscine et le jardin sont de vrais atouts. La chambre et la salle de bain sont particulièrement grandes, confortables et décorées avec goût. Ajoutons à cela la gentillesse d'Alberto et l'emplacement de Galatina, stratégique pour visiter le Salento, et vous obtenez un séjour parfait !

• Günther (9/5): Angenehmer und herzlicher Aufenthalt bei Niki - Wir wurden sehr nett von Niki empfangen, der auch stets für unser Wohl gesorgt hat. Schöne Unterkunft, sehr schöner Garten mit Pool mit verschiedenen Sitz- und Liegeplätzen. Ausgezeichnetes und reichhaltiges Frühstück von Niki sehr aufmerksam serviert. Checkin könnte früher sein (offiziell erst 16:30 Uhr), tatsächlich wurden wir schon früher freundlich empfangen.

La struttura è ben tenuta e la piscina è comodissima per trascorrere ore in serenità. La colazione veramente di alto livello con prodotti sempre freschi e locali, ad iniziare dai lattiticini (ricottine, primo sale, burratine), per arrivare ai dolci (pasticciotti, cornetti, kraften). Ma ciò che veramente crea il soggiorno fantastico è il servizio offerto dal gestore Nichi, persona altamente professionale, precisa e responsabile, pronta sempre a farti sentire a casa e a coccolarti durante il soggiorno. House keeping excellent - delicious breakfast. Parking. Garden outside seating area. Great to have a car park but carpark a little Unkept so less welcoming Lovely Pool to sit around with beds and umbrellas - to really be 10/10 - cleaning the lining edge would improve the appearance alongside the wall you face - painted breeze block needs repainting or planting as the rest of the garden is lovely. This shouldn’t put you off the stay as we would go back! Hospitality fabulous.

• ALICE (8/5): - Nous avons été un peu refroidi par l'environnement délabré du quartier mais une fois dans l'établissement c'est très joli. Chambre grande, très propre et bien équipée. Le centre historique est à 10 min à pied. Très bon accueil et bien anticipé. Petit déjeuner parfait !! Ce n'était qu'une courte étape d'une nuit pour nous mais ça correspondait à notre besoin et les petits étaient ravis dans la piscine :-) Le parking fait un peu peur mais nous n'avons pas eu de soucis pour la voiture.

• Luana Santamaria (8/5): Un punto di riferimento su Galatina - Struttura curata, pulita ed accogliente, colazione ricca e di qualità, buonissimi gli yogurt e latticini a colazione di produzione locale, comoda la posizione a pochi passi dal centro di Galatina. Purtroppo la piscina di pomeriggio è in ombra e c'è qualche ape e vespa di troppo ma purtroppo... è la natura! Doccia in zona piscina non funzionante.
