- Jason (6/5): - Outdated with stale smelling rooms and foyer; wall paper in bathroom coming off walls, carpet on 4th floor in hallway had hole. Room service came on Sat at 9AM and never returned with toilet paper or to clean room. Bad coffee and stale food at breakfast buffet. Could not access workout facilities with room key-only available with staff member to grant access; indoor pool was covered not available for use. Exiting/entering hotel had to cross busy 4 lane road at intersection with no light where it shared access with a different hotel (Days Inn) to get to Comfort Inn and parking. We frequently travel to Pittsburgh area but will seek other options in future.

Had a family event, 3 separate rooms, and all had stained sheets, patched blankets, floor was not vacuumed in one room (M&Ms and confetti all over). Breakfast was ok, not much variety compared to other hotels in this segment. Very convenient to downtown Pittsburgh, 5 min away. Probably wouldn’t stay here again due to lack of cleanliness.

- Victoria (2/5): - There was an explosion at a factory less than a half a mile from my house that forced my wife and I into a hotel for a couple days. We were given the all clear to go back home and the hotel would not refund our night the other unneeded night,this was a serious issue. Two people lost their life. Several more injured Unknown pollutions were put into the air that forced us out of our homes, and these people still would not refund our money that we couldn’t afford to spend, but had to property was run down. Staff didn’t seem to care. Elevator was so loud when stopping I honestly made my family get out and we walked up the last flight and use the stairs the rest of the time. The barbecue grill they advertise outside, was rusted and decayed. even when taking out the refund issue from the equation, I honestly don’t see how this hotel has such high ratings. I’ve never left a review. I don’t believe for Expedia ever but I took the time because I wanted people to know the condition of this property is horrendous and so is the compassion of the people running it

- Angela (6/5): Way overpriced. Won’t use Comfort Suites anymore - We’ve stayed at lots of Comfort Suites. Quality has really declined while costs have gone up. Breakfast was poor in comparison to other hotels with less expensive cost to stay. No coffee was available. Room smelled bad. Water temperature was hard to keep managed as was AC temp. We were either freezing or roasting. Staff was nice. Appreciated the touch up service. Unfortunately, this hotel is well below quality for the cost.
- Kimberly (6/5): - The sink in our bathroom was cracked, there was mold in the tub, and some mystery substance on the carpeting near the wall. The furniture was outdated and the beds were extremely uncomfortable. There were skateboarders leaning on my car who were slow to move off of and from around my vehicle, which I did not appreciate. The area the hotel is in is sort of run down, but the pool area was enjoyable. I did find it odd that room keys don’t give you access to the pool or the fitness center. You have to find an employee to let you in. The elevator as also questionable. It was a convenient distance from downtown, though, and was relatively quiet considering we were right next to the elevator.

The hot meal options, scrambled eggs & sausage were sad. Neith looked cooked properly. There was little option besides breads(ie muffins, bagels, etc).

F-bombs were repeatedly dropped, at one point I thought things were going to get physical. It was terribly inappropriate for a hotel lobby. It was a awkward situation that caused me to think I might want to find a different hotel, but they did walk out and leave. Once checked in, my room was great, it was quiet, parking was easy and the breakfast hit the spot. Other than my check in, the weekend was great, accommodations were just what I needed, and the location worked.

Overall was decent but nothing exceptional (we got what we expected/paid for).

- Rishira C (10/5): - Our stay was really great! Aside from a few mishaps on the elevators that needed cleaning, and the noise we could hear outside the room and above us, everything was pretty good.

- Paul (6/5): - The staff was great and very responsive. However, the property was run down. Furniture banged up and upholstery had cigarette burns. The first room smelled like perfume used to cover up the smell of smoke. 2nd room was fine. Nothing around the hotel and it is located on a very busy road.

- Emily (8/5): - Although the indoor pool was a bit small, it was quite warm! The room was clean, but smelled a little funny. The breakfast was mediocre. The kids liked the waffles. The coffee was not good. It tasted like instant coffee. The staff was helpful!
