• Julia (9/5): Unique, calm and quiet place to stay close to nature in Cyprus - Wonderful location in small Cypriot village Neo Chorio. Amazing view overlooking nothing but nature. Super close to Akamas trails. Our host George was amazing and recommended us things to see, plus we were gifted most delicious oranges at the beginning of our stay. Apartment is spacious and full of natural sunlight. I highly recommend this place, it is something different! The only thing was the air conditioning machine making a lot of noise when using heating function, that was necessary during our February stay. On the other hand it really is a minor thing and you rarely need heating on Cyprus. We didn’t mind it that much.

The bed was not that comfortable. No washing machine, even though it was in the list in the kitchen.

• Eva (5/5): Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis trifft Realität - und verliert - Tolle Lage, Strand ist 5 Autominuten entfernt, Blick auf das Meer (sofern Balkon nicht, wie bei uns, auf die Berge schaut), ruhig. Nettes Begrüßungsgoodie (Wasser, Trauben aus dem Garten) im Kühlschrank. Sokrates (Besitzer) ist sehr freundlich. Wir hatten das Appartment aufgrund der sehr guten Bewertungen auf booking.com gebucht. Sagen wir so, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt genau...Wenn man für 2 Nächste 153,- € (Nebensaison) bezahlt, kann man eine Unterkunft erwarten, jeglicher Komfort ist allerdings Fehlanzeige. Die hier so top bewertete Sauberkeit können wir nicht bestätigen. Handtücher, Bettlaken, Duschvorhang und Möbel wiesen diverse, nicht näher identifizierbare Flecken auf, auf dem Boden lagen viele dunkle, lange Haare, die Küchenausstattung ist dürftig, teilweise kleben die Gegenstände. Generell ist das Mobiliar abgewohnt und ca. 30 Jahre über der Zeit, es sollte dringend mal renoviert werden. An einigen Stellen wurde wohl auch mal nachgestrichen, was an dem abweichenden Farbton zu erkennen war. Wasserdruck in der Dusche quasi nicht existent, Schlauch wurde notdürftig ersetzt, Dusche ist auch nur für kleine Personen geeignet. Dafür hatten wir drei Sofas im Wohnzimmer, auf denen wir aber wegen der oben erwähnten Flecken kaum gesessen haben. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft definitiv nicht weiter, es sei denn, man mag es rustikal bzw. asketisch.

• Michal (8/5): Super! - Świetna lokalizacja. Taras od wschodu, zacieniony czysty basen. Pokój 104 wymaga lekkiego remontu, mocne lata 2000. Mnie to nie przeszkadza, nawet ma swój urok ale trzeba to wziąć pod uwagę.
• Panayiotis (4/5): Not as expected . - Only the location ,it was very close to Latchi ,beautifull view . The appartment was very dirty and the furniture very uncomfortable . We could not sleep ,I felt something biting me and the next morning i had multiple bite marks all over my body .The TV was smaller than a laptop screen and we could not use the swimming pool because it was very dirty ,the water was murky and you could not even see the bottom of the pool .

• Eduard (9/5): - Ubytování na tři noci splnilo naprosto všechno. Apartmán je v naprosto klidné lokalitě na konci příjezdové cesty s vlastním parkovištěm a venkovním bazénem. Apartmán čistý, dostatečně vybavený s terasou na jednu i druhou stranu. Večer je zde opravdu úžasný klid. K moři 10 minut autem. Za nás velká spokojenost. Rádi přijedeme znovu! Příště určitě na víc dnů! Chtělo by to rozkládací gauč...
• Savva (5/5): Décevant. - Le logement était vétuste. La vaisselle mis à disposition était sale, certains couverts piqués de rouille. Certaines lampes n'avaient pas d'ampoules ou elles étaient defectueuses. La literie n'était pas très confortable. L'eau de la piscine était verte et trouble. D'ailleurs personne ne s'y est baigné pendant notre séjour.

• kika (6/5): It was ok - The apartment was ok. The view was nice. The furniture was very old, and one of the kitchen drawers almost fell out when opened. The bathroom was not very clean, and the shower pressure was so low that it was impossible to wash my hair properly. The shower also had a very old curtain, which made the overall experience feel outdated and uncomfortable. The price when booking directly with the owner is €90 per night, but through Booking.com we paid €116, which I found unfair given the large increase. If you choose to list your apartments on Booking.com, you should factor in their commission instead of passing it entirely onto the guest.

• Juan (10/5): Nicest host at cyprus - Cypriots in general are lovely people, but George and Socrates are the best. The place is a bit remote and it's good to go by car. In our case, we had problems with the rental and couldn't get a car, but with the village taxis and them making things much easier for us by taking us to some places, it all became just an anecdote. There are a lot of cicadas, so if you have an insect phobia, this isn't the place for you.
• Michael (8/5): Nice area and good location. - Socrates, the owner, is very nice. He was kind and gave us lots of oranges. It isn't too far from the village. It was quiet when we stayed off-season. Decore is getting a bit tired. Beds and pillows are a bit firm. Could have used a few more kitchen utensils as we like to make meals.

• Siep (10/5): An orchid paradise - This is the perfect base for Orchid hunting on the Akamas peninsula. We had 27 Orchid species including Kotschyi and Punctulata. The location of the apartments is outstanding in the countryside with views of the sea and the mountains The apartment is clean, well equipped and spacious. The beds are very good and each room has his own airco. The host is very friendly and helpful. He brought us to the hospital when my wife has broken her arm. Don't look any further!

• William (6/5): Good location for The Arkamas - The location was very good for the beach, Aphrodite Baths and walks on the Arkamas. The kitchen was well equipped. The pool was good on a hot day. The flat 101 is beginning to show it's age. The TV did not work and it could have been cleaner.

Very good proposal for a family stay. Aircondition is efficient and available in both rooms. Mr. Socrates is great and discrete host who welcomed Us at arrival and showed everything. I had some questions and requests before arrival and communication with Him was at top level. Swimming pool is nice and clean. In some time We'll definitely be back here. Everything was beyond our expectations. Really, it's hard for Me think about something bad over here. Especially for this price range.

Our apartment had great view to the mountains and the sea. Staff were very friendly and accommodate our late arrival. I would definitely recommend this!

The location is ideal for exploring the surrounding nature park and is close to Atacamas. The host Socrates was able to help us with our washing. It is not particularly clean, the gas oven works only for one out of four pots. It seems to be a little run-down. Still recommended because of the decent pricing.

He welcomed me as I arrived and showed me everything I needed. The apartment is a 10 minutes drive from the centre but the location is very quiet and with amazing view. I would totally visit it again.

• Ellena (9/5): We has a fabulous holiday and this was a great base. Although the pool is shared, different families used it at differen - Lovely location in the hills with sea views. There was a friendly village with a cafe/ restaurant / shop within walking distance. The owner was kind and happy to help if required, left us tomatoes, honey, bread and melon on our arrival. They also communicated well via booking app prior to trip. Kids enjoyed the pool. Washing facilities were available to use on request. N/A

• Sandy (9/5): Great value for money with nice views and peaceful surroundings - It was very peaceful and good views. Safe parking as well. Communication prior to arrival was also very good. The only thing that comes to mind is the bed. I expected a double bed not 2 singles joined together.

• Akers (8/5): Very good - Great location and fantastic value for money. The apartment had everything we needed for the weekend and lots of space for a family of four. Beds were comfortable and there is a great little pool on site. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Sofa bed is quite short so not brilliant for anyone over 5ft 11 but comfortable enough.

• Grey (10/5): Incredible hospitality, wonderful location at elevation with breeze & view, walk to small village. - no breakfast location was awesome, quiet with nice breeze and sea view less than ten minutes to beach & town. There were fresh oranges in the fridge & jars of olives & olive oil made by socrates. It's an older property and what it lacks in fancy amenities is more than made up for by Socrates & George's welcoming hospitality & kindness.

Left us fresh oranges, a bottle of wine and even decorated the room with some birthday balloons! Amazing views from the balcony and in a pefect location, just a short drive to the beach and local restaurants.

The apartment is generous in size and has an amazing balcony that overlooks the mountains and the sea. Although my accommodation had newish furniture, some of the furnishings could do with an upgrade.

Owner is very helpful and communicative, give nice tips of what to do in the surroundings. Such as nice trails to walk in the akamas mountains. Gave us a present of home grown oranges. Within walk distance a nice tavern, small supermarket, cafés. Car needed for beaches, restaurants, shops down the shore.

The location is splendid, with views at the sea and the mountains and the quietness of a rural area. Neo Chorio itself is charming and we had a nice dinner in one of the tavernas.

• Alice (10/5): Wonderful stay in a gorgeous location - I think it was George who checked us in and showed us around. He was lovely and very helpful. Socrates provided fresh oranges he had grown which made the best orange juice. The location is fantastic for a rural getaway. The views are stunning. We had everything we needed in the apartment. I would strongly recommend staying here. Nothing! There are stray dogs in the town (very common in Cyprus), so I'd suggest driving into the centre, but that's noting to do with the accommodation. We would stay again.

Socrates was friendly and easy going. The apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped. Overall we enjoyed our stay. No facilities apart from the pool (but we already knew from before)

Owner is super kind and friendly, I even got some fresh fruit from his garden like a welcome gift, I really enjoyed it. The appartement has good view, you can see mountains and the sea. I especially enjoyed design of this appartement. It felt really cozy. Nice decorations, very confy bed. Balcony was good place for relaxing. Swimming pool area is also nice. Kitchen was fully equipped, for real. I really found there all I needed. WiFi signal was good enough also for work. Location is good, very quiet place. But you need a car.

The apartment was spacious, quiet and comfortable with lovely views. We didn't mind that some of the fittings are quite old as it met our needs. Shower didn't have that much pressure.
