Continental breakfast was really good also..waffle, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy and more! Highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling in the area.

Noelle (6/5): Acceptable. - Hotel was perfectly acceptable but certainly not wonderful. The bathroom was not clean and had a lot of stray hairs on the floors, corners, bathtub and shower curtain. No stopper in the tub meant no baths for the kids. The bathroom clearly had not been properly cleaned, though the room itself was clean.

The room was recently upgraded, but still had standard motel A/C that cycled on and off and we found that the air was not as easy to breathe as in other motels. Still we found this to be a decent stay on this oasis of an exit and wondered why more people were not using it.

The CRI seemed like a terrific choice, w/high reviews, over the long stretch of road and many hotel choices. Great price, clean, quiet, free simple breakfast, and nice staff!! CLEAN is the key description!!
Napinuca (6/5): Not impressed - it was okay - We decided to stay here because of the great reviews. The place is decent- about what we've seen at other places however we were put on the 2nd floor and there was no elevator and no rooms available on the 1st floor. The bed was comfortable. As we are traveling cross country, it took 3 trips to carry everything from our back seat up the stairs to the second floor. We also drove 20 miles to get to a restaurant as nothing was open here except a DQ and a Mexican/Indian restaurant. Breakfast was average as well although reviews rated it very high. I wouldn't rate this personally more than a 7.
Gary (10/5): - This was a perfect place to stay after we visited Lincoln's New Salem State Park. The staff was very welcoming. We had an excellent meal in the small pub. We loved the rustic log building and decor. Our room was very comfortable with a fantastic view of the Sangamon River. We would gladly stay here again.

Jill (8/5): Helpful and friendly staff at this clean, small hotel - On a long drive from DE, the location amidst a large weather system helped get us off I-70 before it good too icy. Otherwise, I don't know anything bout the area. It was a tiny town in Kansas. Nothing really. It served our purposes. We stayed in a 1 bedroom King with separate living room. The room is quite outdated though.

Ellene (10/5): Thank you kind and accommodating staff! - Breakfast was very good. Protein options vs. all carbs. I was moving from Colorado to Missouri with my son, 89-year-old mother and 4 pets. This hotel was super accommodating. Easy access to room for my mom and the pets. Easy access to park a 26-foot U-Haul. Accessible room had a separate bedroom with king size bed, pullout sofa bed in “living room”, walk-in shower. This place made my life so much easier during an overnight stay. I would highly recommend this hotel especially if you have travel companions with extra needs!!!

Craig (4/5): - Didn't like that our heater sounded like a freight train. It was extremely cold that night and the heater barely worked. Upon arrival, we also had trouble getting the door to the room to open. We went back to the desk and the desk person said "some of the doors stick, just give it a good push". That worked, but had to put some force into it. The bathroom door was the same way. We've stayed here several times in route to Colorado. These are the first issues we've had.

The only negative I have was that when we came in on a Friday night late, the sign for breakfast indicated that breakfast would be open at 6am. The next morning, it did not open until 7am because it was a weekend. They should have changed the sign the night before for guests who would be there the next morning.

The sheets on the king size kept coming off throughout the night. Also recommend getting the foundation checked as there were some cracks running the entirety of the wall in some corners of our room(102). Other than those small things then it was a phenomenal stay and provided everything we needed and more!

No blanket for sofa bed first night only has a mattress cover for me. Second night got a blanket.

The room was clean, the bed was comfy, the bathroom was well lit, the water was soft and the shower made washing my long hair easy. The breakfast served this morning was bisquits and gravy, sausage, cheesy omelette, make your own waffles, and a variety of breads for toasting. Apple juice, orange juice, milk, coffee, and water. In short, it was a Great Stay.
Bill (8/5): - I thought the front desk help wasn’t real friendly or helpful. He didn’t seem very knowledgeable of eating establishments in the small town of Quinter. When asked about if there might be coffee at any store at 4:00 am as we were departing early, he didn’t seem to know a lot about that either. The facility appeared to be clean and well kept. Would stay again.
Alicia (4/5): - At arrival the front desk didn’t even speak to us aside from to ask for my ID and to tell me to sign. Had to call down to get the Wi-Fi password because he didn’t even tell us it was on the sleeve. Rooms on the surface were clean, however we stayed 2 nights and wanted to put some bottles of water in the fridge…. It was hot and covered in mold and mildew. Shower head was broken, it worked but couldn’t adjust the water flow or it would spew out from behind the jets. Bugs were also found on the wall and in the bathroom. Went to breakfast first morning at 830 and all the food was gone (understandable as there was no vacancy but disappointing as breakfast is to be served until 11). 2nd morning went down at 7 am and coffee was empty, did eat some food though and it was good. Was told we would be refunded back a percentage for military discount that the original clerk didn’t give, hasn’t happened yet but we will see. All in all, great hotel, but staff not the nicest and the fridge thing, unacceptable.
Norman (10/5): New hotel in excellent condition - New hotel so everything is nice. Have an extra gravel parking lot for campers and boats.

Matthew (10/5): - Breakfast is better than most continetials at other Hotels. Rooms are always clean when we come to stay. I only dinged them a star on facilities due to the shower head and tub stopper. The shower head in our room looks like it’s best days are behind it, the tub didn’t have a stopper at all. The cleaning staff was able to provide one, but even that one was pretty decrepit and didn’t seal up fully. All in all, it’s always been a great stay at the CR. We plan to stay again next year!
