- Karri (3/5): Would not recommend - the front entrance looked nice and new and clean. the bed was comfortable the pillows were comfortable it was quiet. cleanliness was terrible. I like to take the stairs for extra exercise, but these stair wells looked like they had not been cleaned or used in months. There was trash, spider webs. bugs and cigarette butts all over. The room reeked of smoke so badly it make my nose burn. The elevators were loud and a little sketchy.

Main thing was the elevator broke soon as we got there. 3rd floor rooms, the halls smelled like cigarette smoke and we told front desk someone out crawfish hulls in trash in hallway and it stunk. No one came to take it out once we told him so it stayed all night to smell the hall. The manager did comp both of our rooms one night free due to elevator issues so that we were grateful.

Das Hotel wirkt insgesamt alt und ungepflegt, die Sauberkeit liess deutlich zu wünschen übrig. Die Infrastruktur ist stark in die Jahre gekommen. Das Frühstück war qualitativ grenzwertig. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt definitiv nicht.

Downtown und verschiedene Restaurants direkt am Mississippi sind in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Sehr in die Jahre gekommen und renovierungsbedürftig. Für booking.com zur Information: Das Hotel heißt nicht mehr "Magnolia Bluffs", die Initialen wurden bereits entfernt. Zur Zeit hat es überhaupt keinen Namen. Warum wird es als Best Western Signature angeboten?

He fixed my room keys when they did not work and came to make sure the door battery was okay. Also, the air conditioner worked well and kept the room cool. The room was extremely outdated and poorly maintained. The furniture was old and stained. The bathroom looked very worn, with what appeared to be mold in the tub, a dirty vanity covered in a white film, and a peeling toilet seat. The curtains were also old and stained. They would not stay shut, the light by the door made a loud humming noise, and the locks did not feel or look secure. Check out also took much longer than it should have. For the price, the condition of the hotel was unacceptable.

My wife got locked in the bathroom because the door knob was loose. It's a place that needs some updating and some TLC.

Found toilet seat dirty in the room but the front desk staff switched me to a different room which was OK but I was already totally grossed out in my mind which created doubts. Felt like everything was dirty the entire time and couldn't fully relax. Used wipes to wipe down certain things. Maybe I wouldn't have gone into hyper-OCD if I didn't experience the filthy toilet seat from dirty butts. Spent 3 nights.

The side access door for guests to reenter the building using their room key was not functional. You could leave through the door, but you could not get back in. Our room smelled like cigarette smoke. I wish the curtain shades would shut all the way, but not wide enough to keep sun out in the morning time.

There was supposed to be a bar which wasn’t open - when I asked why I was told they were understaffed and therefore no one to serve! Pretty poor really. Cold coffee in lobby area and although pool was open there was various amounts of bugs swimming around, which wasn’t very nice. Breakfast was ok. Staff do not seem happy in their work especially at reception!

- Johnson (10/5): - Location: I had an engagement in Ferriday. The location was perfect. Staff: Check-In was very easy and fast. I was really happy about that. First time check-in went so easy and fast. Staff was very polite and professional. Atmosphere: pleasant and welcoming feeling upon arrival. I had a small hiccup with my 1st room-toliet didn't flush but the issue was quickly resolved. I was moved to another room with an upgrade at no charge. It was an inconvenience to have to pack up all our things and move but the front desk acted quickly and I didn't not have pled my case or wait. She quickly went into action and corrected the issue. I was extremely happy about that.
