Richard is a right bloke, would loved to have stayed up talking to him at the bar but after walking the local fells went to relax in the brilliant room. The hosts put their heart & soul into making everything perfect. We would certainly return.

- Trudie (10/5): - Booked as a short stay for our wedding anniversary. I've seen this property many times as we've walked between Windermere and Bowness and been intrigued by the waterball outside. Didn't actually realise it was this hotel when I booked. We stayed in a lovely suite with an outside hot tub, a steam room,small sitting area and jacuzzi bath, as well as separate shower room. When we arrived the room wasn't quite ready, which we expected, as we were a little early. We left our car parked at the property and walked into Bowness for the afternoon. It's about a 10 minute walk. When we returned , we were thrilled with our room and the lovely touch of an anniversary card. We'd asked for restaurant recommendations for our anniversary meal. The breakfast was hearty. There's no buffet but a menu, which provides plenty of choice. We had cereal with fruit compote,full English with mixed toast , juice, and coffee but there's all sorts to choose from so I'm sure almost anyone could find something to suit. The staff were lovely, friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I'm not one for overly fussy staff but that's just me. The hotel is an easy walk either way into Bowness or to Windermere Village and is right opposite a bus stop we've used before to travel further. Theres not really anything negative I could say about the place tbh. If I was being picky I'd say the water pressure in the shower wasn't great but that's about it. I'd definitely return for another special o

- Nizamuddin (8/5): Good stay overall - Not much to fault, the decor is boutique, so it can feel a bit dated, but I guess that’s in the name. Only negative id give is the bathroom sink the water takes a long while to warm up (sugar suite) and the hot tub tv did not actually work , all other things I could mention would be pretty trivial, so otherwise was a good stay overall.

The rooms were modern and well decorated and the hot tub in with steam room was just perfect! We enjoyed the breakfast and loved the fact the hotel was not far from the lake. We would definitely stay here again

- Tracey (10/5): Cut above ….. - We booked this for our 14th Wedding Anniversary night away. Usually we have stayed on Bowness side but we thought we would try Windermere side for a change. We were certainly not disappointed! The suite was like an apartment suite - lovely & roomy. The suite facilities were amazing - for a relaxing night away especially when it was cold & raining outside, we didn’t need anything else - open fire, dining area, sauna, spa bath - all very relaxing and therapeutic- a calming atmosphere to break from the daily grind of life! The staff were fantastic, friendly and very welcoming. I got the feeling that whatever we may have asked for would not have been too much trouble. The breakfast was ordered to suit and table service which gave that bonus edge to normal hotels with help yourself. Without a doubt we had a great stay and we will definitely be back. Thank you to you all for the hospitality and welcoming atmosphere 🙏

- Petra (10/5): Windermere boutique hotel - Our stay was amazing from the minute we walked through the door, friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for you, complimentary Prosecco on arrival and with breakfast both mornings, all amenities were fantastic and spotless, dinner in the restaurant was superb the best fillet steak we’ve had, breakfast served to the room for a small charge which was delicious, sitting on the little private patio in the morning sunshine was so relaxing, could not recommend this place highly enough we stayed in the Ti Amo room with hot tub, steam room and spa bath, bottles of complimentary water were also in the room and replenished each day

The hot tub was soo good, the bath was big enough to fit a family of 5 in haha. The bed was comfy, a bit harder then what i usually have but still comfy. The breakfast was lovely and a good selection.

- Jill (4/5): - Payed £350 for 1 night thinking we were going to have something special we arrived about 50 minutes before check in time to be told we couldn’t book a meal in the restaurant they were fully booked my wife had fallen the day before and wasn’t up to walking to a restaurant so we ended up with a takeout they never even asked if we wanted a meal in our very expensive room. Well waiting to be checked in we had 2 half s of larger and 2 small glasses of wine £27 The hot tub in the we never used it didn’t look over inviting

- Keith (10/5): - We were very pleasantly surprised on arriving at the Boutique Hotel. We were warmly greeted with a glass of Prosecco. Our suite was so much better than we had expected. In addition to the bedroom there was a room with a table for meals, a bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and a Sauna. Our suite did not have a 'hot tub', which the other suites had, but that did not concern us.The Breakfast menu was excellent and food was cooked to order. Dinner was available but had to be ordered by 5.30pm. We ate out at local restaurants on both nights - restaurants that had been recommended by the staff at the hotel

Short walk to all amenities, lovely pubs, shops and of course lake Windermere. We felt sad to be home when we got back!

- Chris (10/5): Lovely romantic break - Stayed in Ti Amo for two nights and it was really lovely. Own entrance and secluded courtyard with swing, sitting area and hot tub were great. The rooms are lovingly done out and the owners are rightly proud of the place. Steam rooms are a steam room and was a great little addition. All of the little touches were lovely and the flower petals on the bed on the second night celebrating our anniversary was really appreciated. Breakfast was really nice with a decent choice, all freshly made with good ingredients. Ideally situated half way between Windermere and Bowness. They provide fresh milk and ice on request which is also great. A mini fridge in the living room especially, when it's so hot, would be the only addition I would make but we absolutely loved the place!

- Mark (10/5): Sweetheart Suite - Stayed in the Sweetheart Suite as a birthday treat for the wife. Looked after from the moment we arrived with a glass of Prosecco. The suite was amazing and gave to a relaxing stay where we could switch off from the outside world. Staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Would recommend paying the extra for a late check out to take advantage of more hot tub time!!! Only minor quibble would be no mini fridge in the Suite but that certainly didn’t spoil the stay. The perfect stay for busy couples wanting some me time together

Set in an annex cottage adjacent the main building it had excellent in room facilities, a large and comfortable bed, well maintained Hot Tub and Spa Bathroom. Nice bar and Lounge / Restaurant in the main Hotel building with great choice of breakfast options. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Would not hesitate to stay here again...

- Lee (10/5): Superb Hotel - Fantastic hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in the Honey Suite which was lovely. Spa bathroom and private hot tub, really comfy bed. We had breakfast in the room which was very prompt and delicious. The hotel is also very well situated, with a 5 min walk down to Bowness or a 5 min walk uphill to more shops and bars/restaurants. We had one evening meal at the hotel which again, was really good. Highly recommended.

Situated perfectly and very suited for a romantic getaway for 2. Staff were friendly and answered any questions regarding the surrounding area. The breakfast was lovely. We had the the perfect stay. - Shazia Mahmood (10/5): - Stayed for our 20th anniversary this is the second time we have stayed here, even though it is pricey it’s a lovely hotel… privacy of using hot tub and steam in the comfort of your own room. Lovely pleasant stay.

- Jennifer (10/5): Perfect weekend retreat in the beautiful Lakes - The hotel was lovely and the room was very cosy, clean and had the added little extras such as the towels were laid out as a pair of swans and some chocolates too! The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The cooked breakfast was divine. The only issue we had was that the TV wasn't working in the bathroom. It didn't matter to us too much so it was only mentioned to the staff on check out - hopefully it will be sorted for subsequent guests.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Declining standards. - We have stayed numerous times over the years at this hotel and really enjoyed it. We did get one of the smallest rooms they have due to our fault for booking it too late. Since lockdown the owner has doubled his prices . The room we stayed in was £303 for one night where this room used to be around £150. The room was very good only niggle was the small lounge which was really a wide corridor. The main let down though was the breakfast. Previously it was a constant excellent standard with large typical Cumbrian sausages and thick cut bacon almost a chop, beautifully cooked. This visit it arrived at the table stone cold, the ingredients were a noticeable decline in standards which were awful, bland and no taste. It was left after a few minutes of serving. I did complain on departure and was offered a 10% discount on my next visit !! This was a very poor offer and I would seriously consider booking again. There are cheaper options with a better location and alot better breakfast.

- Vishant (8/5): Overpriced and average service - The stay was cozy. We stayed at the Love Snug suite. Its on the attic and the bedroom was on opposite end to the bathroom and spa facilities. Not an issue for us but just bear that in mind. The dining area is very and isolated. We had a spa treatment booked, it was ok but not worth the price. The breakfast was good, nice variety of choices but the staff was not happy when we wanted to swap our black pudding to something else cause we cant eat it due to religious purpose. The area of the hotel was small, not much space to have your own privacy especially in the restaurant or in the bar area. Also, the love snug wont be suitable if you have mobility issues. Overall, a good stay but it was overpriced for what we got and felt.

- Angela (10/5): Excellent relaxing stay, we'd definitely return - The hotel was located a short 10 minute walk from the lake and its facilities, and equidistant between the Bowness and Windermere making it well located to visit the local bars and restaurants in both villages. From arriving at the hotel to our departure, the staff and hotel owners were so attentive, helpful and friendly. We stayed in the Love Snug (top floor) which had its own dining area and sauna. The room was spacious well furnished. The breakfast was amazing with a great selection to choose from. We'd definitely stay again

Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Met the owners just as we were leaving and again, very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely stay again, a lovely break from the kids 👍

Breakfast was fresh with top quality ingredients. If you’re looking for a romantic break this is the place.
