I'm a female alone so I was too terrified to get out of my vehicle. Looks like I drove up on something I wasn't supposed to see because they kept staring but started approaching my vehicle. Then a third person walked up to my driver's window slapped it. I ended up leaving and sleeping at a store. I was terrified. Will not return
• Pammie (6/5): - It’s usually very pleasant but this time my room wasn’t so clean. The sheets on the bottom mattress was filthy. I went out and purchased sheets to cover everything up

• pamela (2/5): - I was not expecting the Ritz but this place was completely misrepresented by the photos and reviews. We drove straight to the motel to check-in and clean if necessary before we went to our destination. We cloroxed and disinfected surfaces with Lysol. I cleaned the toilet, tub, and bathroom floor. There was bugs, dirt, and hair. I cleaned the frig etc. We did not leave our belongings because we saw a few bugs. I went to the store to purchase Roach spray and trash bags to store our bags. We went to our event and were gone for about 7 hours. Came back and bugs everywhere. Bugs in the tub, sink, floor, walls. We sprayed everywhere. We left our bags in the car. We slept with all the lights on to keep the bugs at bay. There was no comforter like shown in the picture. It was the old school bedspreads from the 80s. The sheets looked clean and we slept completely under the sheets all night for fear of bugs getting in our ears,noses, or mouths. We woke up constantly to make sure there were no bugs near the beds. We did not even try to shower because of the level of disgust. We washed up at the sink, brushed teeth and checked out. The bed was comfortable but the atmosphere felt was dirty that we were afraid to put our on the floor. They did not provide extra towels when asked but no surprise. It is apparent that the owners just don't care. Never again. Sleeping in my car would have been a better option.
• Krisann (8/5): - Overall the stay was good. Floors in the room were so uneven and you sink in several places very strange!!Toilet barely flushed no pressure!! Had a light on night stand but no outlet to plug it in. Fridge and microwave which is a plus No coffee maker, iron/ ironing board or hair dryer. Clean room, comfy bed.

Prob should have requested a non smoking room, as it was almost hard to breathe over the smell of cigs. And I smoke 1.5 packs a day. We smoked outside for fresh air, lol.

Was locked out of room the next morning. Office was closed. Couldnt get in room for about an hr. Pictures on website was not how my room looked. Wanted to checkout as soon as I got in room but it was almost 11:00pm at night so stayed there. Will send photos of my room.

• Debra (4/5): - It was old dirty floors tub beds were 6 ft tall hard to get in and out off. Questioned why I had a double bed room for only one person had me booked for 1 night only. Had to move me to a singe room next day. Then said I paid the wrong amount. Not very pleasant

The room was disgusting, I knew it was gonna look rough because it was a smoking room, but doors missing on dressers, cuts and burn marks on tables, blinds broken so someone could see inside, the shower was a nasty joke. The people at the desk were nice but I couldn't feel safe here. I would never bring my family to stay here

• Tyler (6/5): Good for sleep, only - Ella was an amazing person to check us in! The room/suite was quite bad. There are bug traps everywhere, stains everywhere, floor in room was always dirty, laundry was not changed daily. The price was very cheap and did the job for our purposes… I do not recommend this place if you are planning to spend more than 1/4 daily in the room.

• Jessica (8/5): No frills but definitely pleasant - We just needed a place to sleep, and it did just that. No frills, but great shower pressure and the lady at the front desk was very nice. I think our room was painted very recently and had new plank flooring which was a plus.
• Joseph (4/5): Surprise Surprise - If red and gold decor is your style this is a place for you, If you don't care that the curtains don't close and are not even hanging on the rod this will also suit you. To get hangers for my clothing I had to ask for them also for more than 2 towels and there were two of us. I don't know about you but I use one for my hair and one for my body. If you want a three for tub and shower combo you just have to stay there to see it, I measured this tub because I could not believe its size. The toilet was a two foot space so if you are larger than normal size you will not fit onto the seat. There was not a drawer in the place. The in-room heater blew a lot of cold air, the fan kept kicking on instead of the heat and of course it made lots of noise. There is no mirror in the bathroom, the sink is on the outside with no out outlet near the mirror so it is hard to see to dry your hair. There is not carpeting but to me that was a good thing since walking around on carpet in most motels just bothers me since I have no idea what might be in or on the carpeting. It advertises premium channels but they do not mention there are no local channels. No phone in the room so you could not contact the office unless you walked there but then again the doors were locked so you had to wait for someone to answer your knock.

I comes back my key doesn’t work and the dead bolt was locked on the door…it’s not a safe place to stay. The guy next door was drunk and the front desk clerk comes running out his room when she heard me saying I hope nobody in my room..NEVER WILL I STAY AGAIN. Every time I left my dead bolt was locked on the door don’t know how but DONT STAY

It took several minutes and finally had to call Expedia to find out how to check in on their site. Horrible time consuming process.

The towels were very old, thin, and had many stains as if they were used for cleaning rags. It was very noisy fron other quests, the room next to me had people smoking strong pot outside at 7:30 this morning.

So bad you dare not even put your elbows on the chair armrests. One bed frame, or what they used for a bed frame, stuck out and was a hazard. Electrical not up to code. Shower head loose in wall. Bugs! And the door did not close completely. Could not deadbolt and could see light through the gap. No housekeeping next day. Did not even deliver fresh towels. (2 of the first four had not been changed in awhile, yellow and smelled nasty).
• derek (4/5): - Motel needs a lot of work. Bathrooms were a disgrace. Taps came out of the walls, closets had no hangers available, bathtub was filthy. Tv worked but was outdated by 15 years. No phone and the free wifi was slow at best. Holes in walls were poorly repaired. Heating and air conditioning worked well. Fridge worked well. Check in was ok.
• Rachael (2/5): Not the best - Motel room was completely outdated. The carpet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. There was a dirty wash cloth left on one of the nightstands. There was a sanitized paper on the toilet yet there were cigarette ashes all over the toilet seat. The outlets on the lamp didn’t work as well as one of the outlets on the wall didn’t work. The nightstands and table had cigarette burns all over them. Room smelled of smoke but in the rooms defense it was a smoking room. So definitely not upset about that part at all. The room did not have an iron or ironing board. Did not have a hair dryer or phone book. There were multiple drunk people outside my door at midnight, talking loudly. The walls are thin, we could hear the neighbors snoring. On the plus side. The bed was clean, big and comfortable. The heat worked very well. The hot water was very hot. Prime location! Right down the road from Wal-Mart, a hospital and many restaurants and gas stations. So over all the room was ok for one night. However I would not stay again unless everywhere else is booked full.

• Caitlin (10/5): - I came there to Eden, NC to vacation for a few days. The hotel was very nice. The price was just right. We didn’t have a problem with anything in our room. I definitely will be back there to visit soon. I absolutely love the small town.
• Elizabeth (8/5): Simple Living - As they say, you get what you pay for. VERY reasonably priced, not fancy, but all we needed. Comfortable bed, shower, micro, fridge. Help was very personable. Will use again.
