• Javed (9/5): Luxurious property and friendly staff - We stayed at this, home away from home, during first week of May, 2026. It is a very well maintained place, facilities are excellent. The breakfast buffet is lavish and delicious. The one thing that stands out is the people managing this place. Everyone is so helpful and pleasant to meet. The vibe is so friendly. The owner, Mr Shelly, personally talks to everyone during the breakfast time and ensures that everything is in order. I think that personal touch goes a long way in making the guests comfortable. Great work all of you guys. One thing that I think can be improved is the timings of swimming pool. 7pm close is too early, especially in this hot weather. I would have preferred 10pm.

• Monique (10/5): A true oasis of tranquility. - An absolutely flawless stay! From the moment we arrived, the staff and owners went above and beyond, making us feel truly welcomed. My suite was incredible, spotless, spacious, 2 bathrooms and a balcony overlooking the swimming pool. The attention to detail was unmatched. Dining at the hotel Sky Bar was a highlight, offering delicious food and the buffet breakfast was outstanding. The atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect to the owners Mr Shelly Gonsalves and his son, who do a great job running this boutique hotel; a true sample of excellent hospitality! A special thanks to Nitin, the Head Chef and to Kim our waitress to name but a few. Nothing!
• Fullarton (10/5): Relaxing & lovely stay at Seashell Suites & Villas - Seashells Suites & Villas was an amazing part of our trip to India. We stayed for 5 nights whilst visiting Goa and the owner Mr Shelly's 'angels' (his staff!) were incredibly attentive and super friendly. Breakfast had a great buffet with pastries, fruit, western breakfast foods and a good assortment of Indian breakfast foods to try (chole bhature was our favourite!) You could ask for made-to-order pancakes, french toast, dosa and eggs. Shelly and his staff all came round during breakfast to say hello and made us feel so welcome. We had the junior suite - it was excellent - super clean and amazing aircon! It was great having the three pools, felt like there were lots of options of where to sit and the pool bar was good for lunch and a cocktail. The roof terrace is amazing for the sunset too - you can watch the sun go straight into the ocean. Honestly not a bad thing to say. Nothing!
• Suzy (10/5): Solo retired female, A wonderful hotel to relax and explore the local area - Solo retired female traveler- I stayed in a ground floor suite with pool access and it was wonderful, the rooms are larger than average, I stayed in April for 8 nights when the season was just ending so not overcrowded, The staff were so helpful at all times and always greeted with a smile, The property was spotlessly clean, I felt totally safe at all times in the hotel and the local area I would highly recommend Seashell Suites to anyone thinking of staying in Candolim Goa Guests covering the sun beds at the pool at 7.30am with towels to save their spot but then not actually coming to use them until the afternoon, Definitely no need for this! It would be nice if this was noted to be not allowed

• Diana (10/5): Beautiful place, excellent facilities, delicious food, and very kind staff - We had such a wonderful stay here. The property is in a beautiful location with lovely gardens yet close to Candolim's local shops and restaurants. We stayed in a three-bedroom villa that was really spacious and very comfortable for us to spend time together. Breakfast was an enjoyable daily ritual with an excellent range of food including several items cooked to order. Indian breakfast foods were available as well as the more international options and my particular favourite was the special masala dosa which I had most mornings! My granddaughters really enjoyed the cereal and pancakes. The pools were clean and well maintained and never seemed to get too crowded.  All the staff were very kind and friendly and made us feel truly welcome, including my granddaughters who had great fun with the breakfast ladies and loved seeing them every day. The owners were also very kind and welcoming. All the reception staff were so helpful on many occasions - particular thanks to Anil for all his help. There was nothing I did not like.

• Arun (10/5): Unmatched Hospitality with Super Comfort! - No praise is enough for this perhaps lesser known gem. A fortituous find, it takes hospitality to a new level altogether. Not surprising, considering the super gracious host, Shelly who makes it a point to feel you most wanted in a genuine way, every single day of your stay. No wonder, these values have rubbed off on his most wonderful team and staff. Our hotel room suite was grandly spacious almost an apartment with 2 bathrooms, unheard of anywhere!! 3 immaculate pools, a fresh sumptuous food spread for breakfast prepared with love, close proximity to the beach and top location, make staying here a no brainer even for those looking for longer stays and for families. Left here feeling only love and gratitude towards all the lovely people here. Thank you!! Absolutely nothing.. just a minor issue of dodgy wifi that we experienced one day

Such a wonderful inclusive feeling while there.. manager/staff go all out to ensure you have a great stay! A wonderful testament to the owner, whom I also got the pleasure to meet, whose personal ethos’s reflect in each and every member of his ‘family of staff’. As that’s how the staff described what working there felt like.. Definitely one to come to again.. in-fact looking at booking for next year.. special thanks to Sylvia and Nibo (those cocktails were the best!) and Chef Nitin - with out a single doubt the absolute Best Food I had in Goa.. thank you all for a great stay! • catherine (9/5): - Beautifully maintained property with very courteous, helpful staff. Nice extra touches such as complimentary cake delivered to room, plus chocolates on departure. The large pool at end of site was a lovely temperature and I spent a lot of time in it. Owner and son very hands on, engaging with guests every day, ensuring all their needs were met. Overall a very hard resort to beat. Only moan I have is breakfast arrangement, staff who took order for eggs, etc quite often seemed to forget order, also sometimes tea/coffee was only lukewarm, head waiter did resolve the problem, just for it to happen again next day. This is a minor issue, but frustrating when wanting to eat together.
• Suzanne (10/5): The standard of rooms, food and staff are truly exceptional - The standard of cleanliness is unrivalled in my opinion. We stay in hotels that are 5 star and above but this hotel was absolutely spotless including rooms pool areas and restaurants It was a little ‘tight’ walking to the bar past he sunbed ( very minor complaint)but there is limited space around the pool so understandable . People put their towels on sunbeds very early in the morning then may not come out until 11am which is not fair ( peoples bad behaviour ) but otherwise there is nothing to be disappointed in this hotel the staff and facilities are exceptional

Excellent breakfast with wide range of Indian and European offerings. My only slight nibble was the fruit juice which was mostly canned and very sweet. Some freshly squeezed orage would have been good Early morning reservation of sunbeds which were often not used until midday.

• Charlie (7/5): Fantastic staff and room - The staff were outstanding. The room and facilities in the room were outstanding. Dinner in the room was first class. The owner was intrusive at breakfast each day. If you wanted peace you could not have this. It was a TUI holiday hotel had we known we would of booked elsewhere. If you wanted to swim which is why we booked the hotel this was only possible early am or later before closing as people were stood in the pool all day. Felt there could of been fresh jams, and more bread alternatives at breakfast.

• Corinne Hannah (10/5): A pampered experience! - Once you stay here you understand why it’s deservedly voted number one place to stay in Candolim. The hard working staff are a credit to the lovely owner, who gives you the personal touch. They look after you so well and at breakfast the choice of food and service is great. You barely have to lift a finger as they bring it to you. And fabulous dinner and service too at the top Sky Bar. Experienced a pre order of tiger prawns and white snapper fish which was delicious and super fresh. The beach wasn’t for me because the sea was a bit rough with strong waves and it was busy. But lots of places to get sunbeds, eat etc. They took the stress away from me when through them I ordered a taxi to take me south. I discovered that you can’t load a foreign card with money to the wallet on GoaMiles App. So am very greatful that they helped arrange my transfer. I should add that the bed was very comfortable. Also the larger back swimming pool did seem warmer than the other two. I had no problem getting a sunbed but was a solo guest. Many thanks to everyone for a wonderful peaceful and relaxing stay. Nothing really although heating the swimming pools, even a little, really would make the place excellent

• Maria (10/5): - Если Вы хотите ощущать заботу постоянно - вам сюда) нас на завтраке спрашивали от младшего персонала до директора отеля «понравился ли вам омлет?», он же рекомендовал «кушать больше» 😀 очень, нет очень очень много заботы и желания, чтобы все было хорошо и нравилось гостям, иногда с перебором, но это местный колорит. Отель удобно расположен, если получится - выбирайте маленькие домики а не основное здание - они стоят подальше от дороги и там потише. 3 бассейна, на выбор. Удобные лежаки. Очень вкусно повар готовит рыбку. И попробуйте тигровые креветки с чесноком и лимоном. В целом, все очень хорошо, чисто, уютно и очень очень заботливо 😀 Все хорошо

• Kath (9/5): Oasis in Candolim . - Everything ! We had a 3 day stay beginning of November at Seashell Suites which was wonderful we were even provided a packed lunch for the airport due traveling schedule . We would stay again without hesitation . Nothing to dislike !

Excellent (mostly) Indian food. - The incredibly friendly and helpful team, everybody is smiling at all levels up to the owner and son themselves, very forthcoming and informative. You really can discuss everything with them and this was quite interesting for us, first time visitors to India Special mentions to Kim and Meri and to the chief cook, this is certainly unfair to the rest but how to remember all the names? The breakfast is very good and the dinner is certainly worth trying. We also liked the large swimming pool and bar. Nothing, 0%.

Everything was perfectly organized — starting with the detailed guidelines on how to get to the hotel, to arranging a reliable driver and a smooth check-in experience with a refreshing welcome mango juice. A big thank you to Sangram, our driver, who was punctual, friendly, and shared so many fascinating insights about local life, Goan history, and hidden gems along the way. Also, a warm thank you to Vittu, Sangram’s brother, for driving us around during our stay — both made our trip even more enjoyable. The hotel itself is a spotless, with super comfortable beds and pillows, and all necessary sanitizers and amenities thoughtfully provided. The surrounding park area is simply beautiful — peaceful greenery, three swimming pools, and an amazing restaurant with an exceptional team that made us feel right at home. Every single staff member was kind, attentive, and always ready to help. A very special mention goes to Chef Nitin, who turned every meal into a true work of art. The lobster he prepared for us — freshly picked from the market that morning — was absolutely delicious and unforgettable! We highly recommend Seashell Suites and Villas to anyone visiting this region. It truly exceeded our expectations. The owner and staff went above and beyond to make our stay romantic, comfortable, and memorable. And to top it all off, a beautiful, clean beach is just a pleasant five-minute walk away. We can’t wait to come back — this place truly feels like paradise! Nothing

Room are lovely and although paid breakfast it’s was superb for the price. Drinks also were really well priced and on many occasions cheaper than bars. Can’t wait to go back

• Kirsten (10/5): Wonderful place to stay, highly recommended - Amazing, extremely well maintained resort where you can enjoy some peace and quiet time away from bustling Candolim. The staff is exceptional, very friendly and helpful in whatever you need. Good breakfast buffet that is open till 11am. There are 3 pools with good beds and a nice terrace at the villa. Couldn’t have wished for anything more, the stay was amazing! The shower has low water pressure and temperature is hard to manage, either too hot or too cold. There is a big kitchen in the villa but no plates and cutlery.
• Emily (10/5): Above and beyond, we would highly recommend! - The property was clean, spacious and had great facilities which met our needs. All the staff were incredible and so kind. We got stuck one day and couldn’t get a taxi and the hotel sorted it out immediately for us, calling a taxi and arranging another for our journey back to the airport. Our room was always clean and tidy and even had a full fridge for us to keep drinks and snacks in which was much needed in the heat! Nothing

My wife’s birthday was made memorable by staff and the owner. Recommendations on reliable taxi would enhance your already exquisite services.

Their was a birthday party and tomorrow it will be more quiet. As a gift he gave us the best chocolate cake that afternoon in our room. Also he said please feel at home, because this is your home and it is not a hotel. Everyone in the hotel is friendly, cleaning staff, staff at the door everyone. Plus this hotel has 3 pools, which are also of a pleasant temperature. The location of the hotel midst all the restaurants is juts perfect. And the ambiance of the hotel feels a bit Caribbean..with the small houses around the pool and lush greenery. Everything is perfect

• Maria (8/5): Lovely stay at a great location. - Good location and very clean and welcoming from reception. Rooms large and very comfortable. The pool, and restaurants seemed a bit dead. No life by the pools so not a great place to hang out for the day. Maybe some more lively music and staff to make this a nicer area. Very few guests to staff so some times felt a bit overwhelmed at breakfast with the amount of staff hovering around.
• Paul (10/5): - Second time staying at this excellent hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable and the three swimming pools are all very clean and lovely to use. The staff really go the extra mile to make your stay memorable. Always smiling and friendly and happy to take time to chat with the guests. The food is wonderful and the head chef takes great pride in his work. He is also very accommodating and happy to take on any challenges if you want something that’s not on the menu. The owner takes the time to meet the guests - thank you for the chocolate cake which was amazing! I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough and we will definitely return.
• Jara (10/5): An absolute highlight of my three-week stay in Goa - OK, this was an absolute highlight of my three-week stay in Goa. You don't often see a 9.6-rated property with 600+ reviews on booking, but this place undoubtedly deserves it. The staff is like a 20 out of 10 rating. It can't get any better unless you are a Pharaoh of ancient Egypt. I was working remotely during my stay in the hotel, the room was so big and comfy that I felt like at home, literally stayed inside for a few days and just enjoyed the comfort. There are also good restaurants nearby (like 50 meters) if you want to stay late. I'm planning to come with my family of three kids and book their villas, got a quick tour, big thanks to the lovely lady who took me there and showed me around. Regarding food, I usually get some buffet food for breakfast and then ask to make their custom dosa with masala and cheese - delicious. I also got Goan fish curry for lunch, which was great.
