Guest Reviews
- DE-SYANG (10/5): The best AirBnb experience - The house is beautiful, kitchen, living room and all rooms are very clean and well decorated. the beds are very comfortable, too. The best part is we can view the aurora just from the big windows and/or patio. My son left his wallet in the room, Simone just sent it back to us with no charge, very appreciated. Definitely will stay here again if we come back to Fairbanks next time.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Winter Experience - Terrific location to see the Northern Lights (weather permitting) and enjoy the interior of Alaska.
Mushing was great fun and the Museum of the North is not to be missed.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good location, nice price and NORTHERN LIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Awesome place! - Great location for north light and other activities. The room was clean, with excellent view and the owner was very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed staying here.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Northern Lights Experience - Beautiful location, friendly, wonderful family, great breakfasts ... And the best part is we experienced the Northern Lights!!!
- Yuka (10/5): Highly recommended accommodation in Fairbanks - This accommodation is wonderful!! It was clean, tidy and stylish. The owner was very friendly and kind. If there is any chance to go back to Fairbanks, I will stay here again.
- Texan Wm (10/5): beyond expectation! - The couple provided a family environment that I have never experienced when I stayed in hotels or motels. The breakfast was different but wonderful every morning. The location is about 20 miles outside of Fairbanks. But if you are in Fairbanks to see aurora, the distance is perfect. The sky was not polluted by city lights and we sat in the backyard to enjoy the fantastic view of the northern lights. (If we stayed in a hotel in the city, we could pay up to $75/person to take shuttle to a remote place to take the chance, and you would not know how many times you have to travel.) I was allowed to use their boat on the creek behind the house. It was the most relaxing hours I had in the whole trip. Last but not the least, the three kids of the family were just adorable.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Love the location and owner was very friendly and helpful.
- Kenneth (8/5): - Clean and Cozy!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Perfect first B&B experience. - Beautiful property, room, and friendly staff. The best surprise was the free use of bikes and kayaks/canoes. Loved the little bunny Olaf too. I would definitely stay again.

- Yuchen (8/5): Feel like home - It was a great experience to stay at Alaska Haven. Simon provides excellent hospitality. She texts me one day before to confirm my arriving time and asks me if I need any asistent for direction. The room with river view was awesome. I can enjoy the beautiful view in my bed and while eating breakfast. The only problem is there is only one bathroom for people to share.
- Greg (8/5): Reveiw - Very helpful and great place to see the area.
- Finn (10/5): Great Getaway - Great family business.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful place to stay!! - The 2 bedroom apt. was very nice & comfortable. The setting was so pretty & very restful. We would stay there again, no question!!

- Verified traveler (10/5): Great stay in North Pole Alaska - Special family runs this B&B. Very clean and scenic. The host is always attentive to your needs. I was purchasing an ATV on this trip and they went out of the way to guide me to where I could ride my new rig. Very helpful family and enjoyed meeting them.
- Manuel (10/5): Very Nice Accommodations Near Fairbanks. - Very nice, clean B&B right next to a small meandering river. I booked the room last minute for an unexpected trip and the staff was very helpful and accommodating regarding arrival time. I would definitely recommend Alaska Haven to my friends and family.
