His sinuses were completely dried out. The skin on my hands was raw and inflamed. There were also no tissues in the room anywhere.

We tried calling numerous times with no answer. Thank goodness a wonderful former employee happened to be on site that was able to help us get checked in. Kudos to her!
Christine (10/5): Cute hotel - Very cute motel. The room was very clean and newly renovated. Bed was super comfortable. Owner was friendly and does a nice job maintaining the grounds. It’s a nice touch having a chair and sitting bench outside each room. It’s reasonably close to shopping and Olean.

Ciara (6/5): Nice clean room, thin walls. - Very clean, good location, rooms had everything you’d need for an overnight stay and they have some items for breakfast in the morning It did not bother me, but something to be aware of is that the rooms are small. The bed was a full and there wasn’t much extra space in the room. Worked great for us! But if space is an issue for you it is something to be aware of. What did bother me is that the room next to us had children who were literally SCREAMING until 3 am. The walls must have been thin for us to hear everything so clearly. There were multiple children under five in the room next door, I’m not even sure how you could fit four people in one of these rooms? We did not sleep really at all. I didn’t know if I could call the front desk about this issue or not since I know the overnight attendant was sleeping.

Elizabeth (10/5): The New Lantern Motel is a hidden gem! It's clean, quaint, casual and comfortable. - I liked the quaintness, and how casual and simple the accommodations were. Not too fancy or overdone, just comfortable. Very clean and obviously newly renovated. I had a hard time getting my TV to work, but I'm bad with electronics anyway! The friendly staff resolved it quickly. There could have been a few more breakfast choices, but I was satisfied.
