• Jeffrey (10/5): Brief stopover on our way to Charlevoix - arrived late in a blizzard and left well rested and fed. - The breakfast was amazing, and they were able to make a gluten free version for my wife. The host was friendly and offered great advice on where to go ice skating in the woods nearby. Can't wait to go back!

• Sheila (10/5): Excellent! - Our hosts were so friendly and helpful--they were just delightful. And the breakfast was amazing--hearty, delicious, and was beautifully presented with fresh fruit. One late afternoon we enjoyed the outside space and one evening we relaxed in the living room/parlor. We were attending a family reunion in the area and our hosts helped us find restaurants, amenities, and activities to do during down times. We could not have asked for more, and highly recommend this lodging to anyone. Our hosts went out of their way to make everything perfect for us--they could not have done more!

• Patrick (10/5): Une adresse qu'on aimerait bien garder pour soi ! - L'accueil formidable de toute la famille des propriétaires (mention spéciale pour le chien !). Présence extrêmement chaleureuse qui a fait qu'on s'est senti comme faisant partie de leurs amis au bout de quelques minutes. Petit déjeuner copieux, parking dispo sur place, bref tourt pour une passer une soirée réussie. Restez comme vous êtes, ne changez rien.

• Sylvain (10/5): Très bien - Hôtes très accueillants et amicaux. Emplacement très propre et que dire du superbe petit-déjeuner, c'était excellent et on en avait pour notre argent. Cependant, même si nous aimons les chiens, nous n'avons pas apprécié que leur chien soit à la table avec nous.

The hot tub was amazing on a rainy night as it was covered and we were happy there was chickens, two cats on the property and a dog. We had fresh eggs for breakfast and everything tasted delicious! • Cheryl (10/5): - Gite le Roupillon is way more than you can see in the photos. The outdoor property is charming and secluded with a bbq and seating under a pergola, lush gardens, a pool, and a spa. The indoors is beautiful retaining all of the antique charm mixed with clean and modern facilities. The bed was beyond comfortable. No expense spared here. The breakfast was better than anything I have ever had at a high end brunch restaurant and the property owners are very pleasant.

• Betsy (10/5): - This was a fantastic place to stay! The couple running this B&B are friendly and helpful. My room, with private bath, was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were gorgeous to look at and delicious to eat! The French Toast was my favorite! My friend and I stayed here because we couldn't afford a hotel in Quebec City; from the B&B, we drove 20 minutes to a ferry that crossed to the City.

• Monica (10/5): Great, well-kept motel with delicious breakfast - Gorgeous room with a very comfortable mattress. Friendly owners, friendly atmosphere at the common breakfast tables (I actually prefer exactly the kind of tables they had). Great breakfast every morning with fancy dishes and plenty of fruit. Flexible check-in schedule. The motel looks like a well-kept, nicely decorated house. I would have preferred to be able to lock the bathroom door from the inside. There was no misleading advertising (there was, indeed, a private bathroom). It's just that, as far as I know, any normal bathroom DOES lock from the inside to prevent its accidental opening while there is someone inside. However, ours did not. I hadn't even thought about asking in advance about such a minor detail. I shared the room with a good friend and we were both female, so it wasn't a matter of personal safety. On the other hand, the breakfasts were so great that I almost feel like coming back from Montreal to have breakfast there. May actually return in about a year.

Unfortunately, there are no sidewalks or paths for walking nearby. Otherwise, everything about the stay is excellent.
