- Matteo (7/5): A convenient business hotel - The hotel is good for a classic business stopover, localted right in the middle of Kisumu, which makes it very convenient for accessing a wide array of services such as supermarkets, money changers, and restaurants.
The staff is friendly, efficient and professional, and rooms have all the basic amenities. The breakfast was nice, with a good variety of local and continental dishes. The main sore point of the hotel is related to its location near markets and night clubs with very loud music. If you are noise sentivie, you might want to look elsewhere.

The hotel is located middle of the town everything is nearby . The breakfast was also nice with more possibilities . I cant say anything here

- Allan (10/5): Judith is a credit to this place! Wonderful staff - Great stay, wonderful staff, the place to stay while in Kisumu.
- Allan (10/5): Perfect location & staff, super safe! - Stayed here in Kisumu for a couple of days. Kind staff particularly Judith at reception, and another gentleman I can’t remember his name. Very sweet natured people and made me feel extremely welcome!
Clean, bang in the middle of town. What’s not to love! All good.
- Ray (8/5): Great service! - The high quality they maintain on everything and the warmth and service from the staff. Loved it. Too many confusing light switches in the room and the chicken wings were a little too salty.
- CYNTHIA (7/5): -
- Brenda (10/5): -
- Agnes (6/5): - The hotel was clean, it was a walking distance to other places and the staff were really nice. The hotel is close to a club that was playing loud music all night making it difficult to sleep. Restaurant closes at 9pm making it difficult to have dinner and the menu was not diverse.
- kenta (5/5): 料金に対し、シャワー以外は可もなく不可もなく。 - 清掃は行き届いていた。 シャワーのお湯が出なかった。
- Adam Johannes (8/5): Good - Good Place Town Noise

- Mike (9/5): - Staff was super. Room was very clean and spaceous enough for our stay. The location of the hotel is perfect in town center. On the opposite side of the road is a "Quickmart" and for the Ladies a "Bestlady" Everything was perfect and looking forward to our next stay. Nothing, everything sawa sawa.

- Guest (6/5): - The local food is delicious! They'd forgotten to put towels for two people. Took them an hour to deliver the second set
- Agnes (10/5): Amazing Stay - •The staff all through were friendly and accommodating.
•The rooms were clean and a good size.
•Hotel is conveniently located in the city center. There's a supermarket across the road, fast food down the road.
- Samuel (7/5): - Very ckean A double room with one towel. No variety for breakfast
- Titus (7/5): -
- Stephanie Villalba (10/5): Exceptional staff, you're in the middle of town but you don't hear the noise. - The staff were exceptional: Raymond at Reception, George as security, Catherine in the dining room, cleaning staff & kitchen staff, all very exceptional. The staff I came across were keen to help out in anything. The only thing missing was the fridge, I wanted cold drinks handy, I wanted to store my fruit snacks, etc.
- Kamau (8/5): Quite restful for a travel stopover. - Excellent and friendly staff Parking challenges
- mohamed fahmy (8/5): -
- Mary (9/5): Overall, my stay at Imperial Hotel Express Kisumu was comfortable, convenient, and memorable — a gre - rom the warm welcome at reception to the spotless rooms and varied breakfast spread, this hotel delivers outstanding value. The staff are genuinely friendly, the location is highly convenient, and the modern décor adds comfort. Ideal for business or a short city stay — a dependable, charming choice. The only downside was the limited parking space, which can be inconvenient during busy hours. The Wi-Fi connection occasionally dropped, and the breakfast area felt a bit crowded in the morning. A few more local dishes and an improved check-out process would make the experience perfect.
- Umberto (8/5): Se non ti serve internet - Posizione pulizia moderno colazione Internet lentissimo e a sbalzi
- Jasper (5/5): - The room didn't look as good as advertised and it was very hot, no air-conditioning Make the room cooler

- David (9/5): -
- Eddah (10/5): - Friendly staff,very clean,very good breakfast
Location was perfect right in the middle of the city and reached
- Malkia (9/5): - Location was perfect for us because we came into kisumu by bus - the station is literally in walking distance. Also right in the middle of things (grocery store, restaurants, bank, all walking distance). Easy enough to uber to other hot spots like kisumu museum. Simple comfortable rooms. Really great breakfast. Plus everyone is very friendly. Kisumu was a stop on a trip more west. We liked it so much that we stayed again for a night before we returned to Nairobi. Seems to be the best hotel in the area. A kettle and fridge in the room would make it the perfect spot.
- Jinu (5/5): -
- Liz (6/5): - The room was clean, breakfast was great
Very supportive staff, however they don't sell wine by the glass and the selection is limited, apart from this everything is perfect 💞 The food is made fresh, you will have to wait for at least 1hr.
- Julie (10/5): Friendly, warm and welcoming atmosphere - The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. There was a warm and safe atmosphere. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Food was good too. Nothing

- Ngumbau (7/5): - Good
- William (10/5): -
- Angela (10/5): Generally value for money. - Exceptional service as always. Maybe a bit noisy as it’s right in town. There’s a night club nearby which may disrupt your sleep.
- Francis (6/5): Nice stay- however hotel customer care and facility’s needs attention! Don’t be petty!! - Central location Very tight on water bottles!! Won’t provide extra drinking water other than 2 water bottles per room! Quite shocking! Also won’t provide an extra empty glass if requested. Not impressed with their crazy policy.

- Nigel (10/5): A place with good memories already! - A safe place with great staff It was fine.
- Jonathan (6/5): Basic amenities but lovely staff - The staff were extremely friendly, polite and courteous. The dining facilities were good but a little expensive.
- Nabil F.R. Khamisa (8/5): Convenient, Friendly & Affordable - The central location of Imperial Hotel Express Kisumu, which made it easy to get around the city and access key places like the airport and shopping areas. The staff were warm, professional, and made the stay welcoming. The rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable, great for both work and relaxation. I also appreciated the hotel’s modern, eco-friendly features, like solar heating and energy-efficient systems. There was no mirror in the room suitable for dressing, which made getting ready a bit inconvenient. Additionally, the noise from the street outside could be quite noticeable at times, especially during the night.
- Julie (6/5): Could have been better. - Two things stand out in my memory. I had a room that was facing a nightclub and I could hear booming music all night and it really bothered me.
Number two: I was trying to get down the stairs to the mezzanine and accidentally got into a stairwell with no exit on the ground floor and that locked itself behind me on the second floor. Only by shouting HELP for several minutes did someone hear me in the corridor and opened the door. I told the staff about this but it really upset me. The staff were very kind and courteous and the breakfast was good.
- Teyie (10/5): - Service and location is great. No official parking
