Ausstattung war völlig ausreichend auch wenn das Bad und die Dusche sehr klein waren. Wir hatten leider ein Zimmer zur Straßenseite und das war relativ laut. Gerade ab 7 uhr. Dafür kann das Hotel nichts, ist aber trotzdem unangenehm. Im winter würde es gehen, im Sommer stelle ich mir es nicht so schön vor.

• M.K. (10/5): Boven verwachting top!!! - Ik was met 2 vriendinnen en we hadden de kelderkamer. Alles nieuw, superschoon, heerlijke bedden en zo ruim dat het een appartement leek. Heerlijk ontbijt. Boven verwachting!!! 2 minuten lopen naar het station. Niets viel tegen. Alleen een tip. Wanneer je de stad Keulen in wilt, kijk dan even hoe laat de S-Bahn gaat. Deze vertrekt 1 x per half uur.

• Mario (10/5): Wir würden dieses Hotel wieder Buchen wenn in Köln sind - Das Zimmer war im perfekten Zustand für 2 Übernachtungen gut geeignet da etwas klein aber gemütlich war, dafür sehr ruhig. Es gab einen abgeschlossenen Parkplatz (alternativ Tiefgarage). Für mich war auch die Lage super. Die Straßenbahn war gut zu hören. Vom Frühstücksbuffet hatte ich mehr erwartet. Z.B. war an beiden Tagen an manchen Käsescheiben schon ein angetrockneter Rand (sah für mich nich frisch aus).

• Allan (10/5): Rigtig godt hotel - venligt personale - Vi ankom til hotellet sent om aftenen og havde givet personalet besked om dette. De havde reserveret en p-plads med oplader til el-bilen og nøglen til værelset lå i en nøgleboks hvor de havde oplyst koden. Alt gik smertefrit- og et virkeligt lækkert værelse hvor vi kunne være 4 Pers. Lækker morgenmad og meget venligt personale.
• Pamela (8/5): Breakfast could be improved, but overall a good place to stay. - The staff was nice, the room was cosy and clean. There's a train station and a tram stop nearby - you can be in Köln city center in 30-45 minutes. Breakfast was OK; nothing special, but fresh and enough. There were some things at breakfast that bothered me: the coffee machines can be touched only by the staff, who were not very friendly in this setting; one day the scrambled eggs were so salty that we weren't able to eat them; I almost ate a dead fly that was hidden inbetween cucumber slices - I guess that can happen anywhere, but was very unpleasant nontheless.

Check in was a bit hassle because the hotel management tried to reach Expedia multiple time, but couldn't get through to let me know that check in counter closes at 9 pm

Only downside was that the family room was basement level (under ground), and had only one window below ground level. We were only there for one overnight stay, so it was not a problem, but had we stayed longer, I would have preferred daylight.

• Valery (10/5): If I return to that particular area of Cologne suburbs, I would look forward to returning to the UHU - The location was great for us. We were around the corner from the train station and across the street from a wonderful nature path which took us to a large forest with walking trails, campground, swimming pool, animal zoo. Breakfasts were very nice with a great European buffet along with some egg selections and breakfast meats that also satisfy Americans. Great coffee! I was delighted with the level of cleanliness that for me to find a negative would really be looki g for something to be unhappy about.
