• A. (4/5): Not what we were expecting... - The location is great and the building could be totally CHARMING if there was more effort, cleanliness, and thought put into it. Our pillows did not even have pillowcases on them, there were stains on the bed sheets and they smelled like mold, our room was super hot and small, and the shower was moldy and not clean. The staff was friendly enough though. I can definitely handle rough hostels etc, but this was advertised very differently and we were at the point in our trip when we wanted to feel clean and comfortable where we were staying. For the price and the lack of cleanliness and comfort, I would skip this place if you're thinking about it!
• Avonne (2/5): Reservation was not honored - I booked this hotel during Easter holiday so I made the reservation 3 weeks in advance. However, when I arrived they said the hotel was full. I was there for 2 hours trying to get things sorted, but both the hotel staff and the Expedia team were dismissive. As a female traveling alone I pay careful attention to where I stay and my budget so I was thoroughly disappointed with how i was treated and largely inconvenienced. I would not recommend the hotel as I believe they thoughtlessly sold my reserved room without consideration. On such short notice, the only available room in the town was more than 2x the price I was prepared to pay. AWFUL EXPERIENCE
• Verified traveler (4/5): - La habitación no fué lo que esperaba, el aire acondicionado no funcionó durante dos días y había un ruido de una construcción al lado a altas horas de la noche, aparte que no contaba con agua caliente y el ultimo día no hubo agua cuando lo necesité aparte las almohadas eran de muy mala calidad.

• scott (2/5): Don't Waste Your Time - I arrived at Hotel San Martin in the early afternoon, to have the reception desk tell me that they had no reservation for me. He wanted to know who I spoke with, and when I told him I made the reservation through Orbitz, he acted like he had never heard of Orbitz.
• simona (8/5): - Ottima sistemazione di medio livello nel centro di Granada. Personale cortese e competente. Prima colazione nicaragüense ottima anche se inusuale per gli europei. Provate il gallo pinto lo consiglio. Bellissimo giardino!
• Loosescrum (6/5): Backpacker Hotel - Okay for a 1 or 2 night stay if you are on a budget. Rooms are very old and basic with poor water pressure. Can be very noisy at night as the hotel is situated on the main drag that has lots of restaurants and street vendors. The included breakfast was good but did not try other meals.
• David (8/5): Nice hotel. Friendly staff - Other people had mentioned that there was a lot of noise. I did not experience this at all. Location is right in the heart of the main part of town. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good in a nice garden eating area. The only problem I had was with the hot water. Guess it got a bit warm. In the sink, it gave you a shock when you touched the fixture and the water itself. Its like, run some electricity through the water and that is what was supposed to heat it? Weird.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Zustand des Zimmers sehr fragwürdig - Die Lage des Hotels ist top und das Frühstück war gut. Der Zustand des Zimmers läßt dagegen zu wünschen übrig. Das Bett war durchgelegen, der Schrank klemmte, die Bettwäsche machte einen schlechten Eindruck und das Bad bräuchte dringend eine Renovierung.

• Liesbeth (6/5): Mixed feelings - Hele prettige locatie. Centraal gelegen, dicht bij restaurantjes. Hotel zelf heeft een nette entree. Je wordt prima ontvangen. Kamer zag er smerig en oud uit. Onze airco lekte, de lakens en handdoeken zagen er vies uit. Kamer werd wel elke dag schoongemaakt, toch een kakkerlak! Elke ochtend prima ontbijt! En er werd voor ons shuttle service naar de volgende plek geregeld. Voor de locatie zou ik het doen maar verder niet.-

• seiji (8/5): 大聖堂直ぐ側ホテル - 旧市街中心部位置し観光便利場所。ミニバスも近くに泊まる。コスタリカ行きのバスセンター近い。その近くスーパーがある。湖まで歩くと15分ぐらい。
• seiji (8/5): 町の中心部あるホテル - カテドラル直ぐ側ホテルで観光にも買い物便利良い。コスタリカ方面バスも歩いて10分程度。市内観光総て徒歩でできる。湖まで15分程度。
• Diego (8/5): Centralissimo - Casa coloniale che avrebbe bisogno di una ristrutturazione nella via migliore, a 2 passi da tutto. Personale molto gentile. Wifi solo nel patio. Colazione buona anche se a volte manca la frutta. Pulizia da migliorare. Tutto sommato vale il prezzo
• Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel with great location. - Very nice hotel with English speaking staff. Beautiful sitting areas. Walking distance to the park, the lake and sites of interest. The only negative thing was the noise at night. There was loud music and partying until the early morning hours.
• Karla (8/5): Hotel esta en un lugar céntrico - El hotel esta en una zona muy céntrica, fuimos con unas amigas y nos atendieron muy bien. El único detalle de la habitación fue que la puerta del baño estaba averiada pero fuera de eso la habitación estaba muy bien, espaciosa, limpia y agradable.
• KM (8/5): Outstanding location! - This hotel is located two blocks from the central park and the cathedral. They included a full breakfast and coffee. The staff were very helpful and I had one of the best hot showers in Nicaragua!
• Ioannis (8/5): Centrally located historic building - If you're looking to stay in an authentic historic accommodation that is right in the centre of Granada then this is a good choice. However the neighbourhood is noisy in the evenings, so not the best option if you are going to bed early. The building is a an old historic building with very high ceilings and a beautiful quiet garden in the courtyard where you will have your breakfast. There is great choice of restaurants just outside the door, and close to the cathedral and the park.
