patricia (4/5): - The size of the rooms was comfortable and I liked that it is a smaller hotel Cleanliness was not up to par. And when I brought my acknowledgmemts to the staff nothing was done the following day to remedy the situation and ended up moving rooms. Also the bathroom doors have no latch or lock in the rooms which is just weird. I have never stayed at a place without a lock or latch of some kind on the bathroom door.

All employees were very friendly, courteous, and helpful. Room appeared very clean, but hair (not ours) was left in the shower both days, even after leaving a note for the housekeeper the first day.

It had been a long day driving and the location was perfect so I went ahead and booked it. What a gem. The staff were exceptional, very kind and polite. Arla (10/5): Great hotel at a perfect spot for history lovers! - The hotel is so close to everything Appomattox has to offer! The staff here are excellent and very accommodating. The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable and serves a good variety for breakfast each day. The shower pressure is amazing as well! We would definitely stay here again! The only little thing we would change is the shower doors... but even that is a very minor inconvenience... just be sure to put the bath mat outside the shower, or you'll have a bit of a mess. Still very, very minor of an issue.
