• 鹿嶋 (10/5): 商店街全体を楽しめるゲストハウスウス - 既に何回か泊めていただきましたが、オーナー様ご夫婦のホスピタリテイには魅了されます。商店街の中というロケーションは素晴らしく、外の、単なる街の喧騒とは違い、生きている人々の生活を感じさせるような音が心地よいです。町を含めて全体がひとつのゲストハウスということが良か分かります｡それがまたたのしいです｡ 特になし

• Leandro Baltasar (10/5): - El personal es muy atento, las instalaciones pequeñas pero justas para que uno se sienta cómodo. La ubicación es un poco lejana a las principales atracciones, por lo que para casi todo hay que viajar un largo trecho.
• SECHUL (10/5): - "예약하세요...!" 이런 주변 환경, 이런 합리적인 가격의 호스텔 게스트하우스가 도쿄에 있을 줄 몰랐습니다. 정말 친절하고 유타 형님이 친구처럼 대해주시고, 도미토리도 훌륭합니다. 안에 있는 작은 일본식 분위기 풍부한 다다미 공간도 좋았습니다. 연박이 안 돼서 다른 숙소로 옮기는 게 너무 아쉬웠습니다. 개인적으로는 다음 도쿄 여행은 그냥 여기서 전부 연박을 해도 괜찮겠다 싶을 정도였습니다. 개추...!!!!

• MOON (10/5): 맨날맨날 놀러가고 싶은 친척집같은 숙소 - 나나 사장님의 친절한 환대 먼지 하나없이 깨끗한 숙소 매트리스 편안하고 숙소에 환기 잘됨 로컬 분위기, 도덴아라카와 트램, 주변에 가까운 식당, 스포츠시설, 코인세탁소, 동네센토 있음 도덴 아라카와선 타고 오지역, 오오츠카역 등 현지인들이 많이 노는 동네에 갈수있어서 좋았습니다 닛포리역에서 숙소 오는길이 20~25분 정도, 많이 걷는것 없이 올수있는 편 (1번 환승) 이라 공항접근성 괜찮아요 (닛포리에서 게이세이본선 타고 2정거장 마치야역 내려서 도덴아라카와선으로 환승, 4정거장 아라카와잇추마에 내리면 거의 숙소 바로앞) 도쿄 북서쪽이다 보니 아사쿠사, 스카이트리는 가깝고 이케부쿠로, 우에노, 아키바, 도쿄역정도는 30분정도로 갑니다만, 더 동남쪽으로 가는데는 시간이 다소 걸립니다

• Natalia (10/5): Muy buena opción para Tokyo - Las camas son amplias y cómodas. El personal es muy amable y servicial. Está a 30 min andando de Yanaka, de las zonas que más me gustaron de Tokyo. Está un poco lejos pero a 10 minutos tienes el metro. La última noche incorporaron una cama más y me pareció que éramos demasiados en la habitación. Es verdad que en la descripción ellos detallan 8 camas, no 6.

• Stephan (8/5): Sehr gutes Hostel mit super netter Betreiberfamilie. - Wenn man sich auf die Prinzip bedingten Nachteile eines Hostels (Schlafsaal, Gemeinschaftsdusche, räumliche Enge) einlässt, erhält man eine super Unterkunft im Nordosten Tokios. Preiswert, sauber, sehr nette Gastgeber und gute Anbindung an den ÖPNV. In einer Nacht laute und störende Mitbewohner. Für die Disziplinlosigkeit können weder die Betreiber noch das Hostel etwas. Leider gibt es immer wieder Zeitgenossen, die meinen sich nicht an allgemein gültige Regeln halten zu müssen.

Took care of everything, made everything super available and ready, and I even had the luck to not share the common room with anyone for a few days, which was really nice. I felt great and and at home, the vibe was geniune japanese, and I loved it! Thank you!

• Adachi (7/5): - 施設内容の説明は詳しく分かりやすいものでしたし、家族的な応対にはとても好感が持てました。全体としての評価は良好です。町の雰囲気も最高でしたし、ハウスの運営も個人の自由度が高くて快適に過ごせる宿としてお勧めだと思います。長く続けていって欲しいと考えます。 なお、気付いた点としては階段が滑りやすかったので、格段の角に滑り止めを貼ると安心かなと思いました。それと、１日目はとても快適で安眠出来ましたが、２日目は猛烈なイビキの外国人がいてほとんど眠れませんでした。個人的な提案としてはイビキ対応の何か、例えばイビキ防止用の口テープの提供とか、遮音用のヘッドホンの貸出とかがあると良いかなと感じました。

• Ivan (1/5): Eight-bed dorm (in reality nine) in a very cramped space. - I stayed at Sato San’s Rest on December 8, 2025. The host was initially polite, but the actual experience in the room was very different from what one might expect. The room accommodated nine beds in a limited space, where in my opinion a maximum of eight would be more appropriate. My bed was so close to the others that I would have ended up sleeping with someone’s feet next to my head, or my feet next to someone else’s head, with virtually no personal space or privacy. The air conditioner was blowing warm air. Although the host adjusted the temperature, the temperature in the room remained excessive and was made worse by an odor caused by too many people concentrated in such a confined space. Although the description mentions an eight-bed dorm, the online photos do not reflect the real layout. In the pictures, the room appears more spacious with only eight beds, while in reality one more bed are installed, placed at the ends of the room, making the space feel even more cramped. It was in this bed that I was supposed to sleep. The common areas are pleasant and the host appears kind, but no concrete solution was offered. I left the property immediately after check-in, without using the bed or any facilities, yet I was still charged the full amount for two nights. I would not recommend this place to anyone who values comfort, even minimal personal space, or proper ventilation. For the same price, there are clearly better alternatives.

I never felt like I'm staying in a hostel. they made me feel at home and comfortable. always helping me out with everything. The location is also amazing. less than 10 mins walking distance from Minowa station metro. and less than 5 mins from multiple bus stops. The stay was very comfortable and beds were also nice. complete space was 100% clean and it was no doubt 10/10 experience. That i couldn't stay more in Tokyo. I'd love to stay more but had to go to other places.

• Sian (8/5): Lovely calm in the storm of Tokyo! - Sato-San’s was the perfect place to rest while exploring Tokyo. The hostel was located in a slightly quieter part of town which felt a relief from the centre. The hostel was kept spotlessly clean and it was a pleasure to meet Yuta and the family - they were so kind and welcoming. The beds were a little bit hard for me, and the location of the hostel did mean that once you left for the day it was hard to ‘pop’ back!

Wir kommen definitiv wieder! - Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal bei Sato-san‘s Rest und würden bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt in Tokyo immer wieder kommen. Die Herberge ist klein, aber sehr gemütlich und familiär. Die Gastgeber mit ihrer Tochter sind wahnsinnig freundlich und hilfsbereit, wir haben uns als Familie sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Die Lage in Minowa Shopping Street ist herrlich, viele kleine nette Läden und Restaurants direkt im Umfeld. Ein eher ruhiges und nachbarschaftliches Viertel im andernorts doch sehr geschäftigem Tokyo.

• polaris (10/5): - 超温馨超友好的yuta和nana！来旅馆的时候被人采访，问起为什么来这一家旅馆，我们当时根据评论区的回答说老板很友善而且价格合适，到旅馆之后发现确实超友善！nana 桑有在学习中文，在多邻国上哈哈哈（我曾经在上面学习日语但是因为广告太多放弃了）nana桑也看出我的包是EVA联名（来日本之后第一个和我提起的人！）虽然我的日本语完全不行但还是聊了一段时间，情绪价值给的超多！晚上见到yuta桑也超友善！他们的女儿nana在最后离开的时候看到了，nana桑让她们跟我们说再见，果然很可爱，不过因为长大了有一点shy呢……这么温馨的氛围让人觉得这里肯定不会差到哪里去（很有家的氛围！）硬件上都一应俱全（不提供免费毛巾哦，不过租一条100日元也很便宜）房间超干净，很满意！交通上旁边就是荒川线（投币170元），离三之轮站之类的稍微有点远，不过感觉遇到了sato一家什么都值得了呜呜呜 没有不满意的，遇到这样的老板很难有什么不满意

I had some personal life difficulties in my life during my stay, but they helped me a lot. The place was immaculately clean. Great value for the price. Quiet neighborhood. The location is a bit far and I can see that the dormitory could get very cramped if it is full of guests. More locker space would be appreciated.

Bed was really comfy, everything was clean and there was a little communal kitchen and relaxing space as well. I'm definitely coming back one day!
• Cinthia (10/5): Friendliest hosts - The hosts were super nice, check in and out was easy, common areas were cozy, and the tatami room was big and comfortable with really high ceilings. They gave us tips to eat around the area which was really helpful. I also liked that we take off shoes at the entrance so we can walk barefoot around, feels like a home. This was the only place we stayed that didn't provide towels. We try to pack light for our trips, but had to bring towels just for this stay. They are available to rent for 100yen.

It is simple but clean and cozy, the beds and pillows were comfortable and the staff is really nice. The showers could have some places to put our own products and the upstairs toilet has no bidet.

• Ching (9/5): Superb - the hosts are very friendly and welcoming, treat u like a friend that visiting during the weekends. everything is super clean, the toilet / bathroom / room etc. there's no lockers in the room, and it's not a big room, so if someone open their luggage, the room get stuffed. after 11 pm, the light will be off, so if u have to open ur luggage to get stuffs for bath, there will be a problem as it's easy to interrupt people that are sleeping already, and there's no light, so it makes things more difficult.

Yuta was extremely kind and helpful and went out of his way to support us with sending our luggage to the next destination - we would’ve been lost without his helps and his translations with the delivery man. The accommodation itself is super clean and we found sleeping on tatami mats very pleasant. The other guests were also respectful and we never ran into any issues with someone being loud late at night or early in the morning. The location was really close to both a tram and two convenience stores and only 10min away from a metro station, making it super easy to get everywhere. We were very sad to leave our little home for the week, since it truly felt so noce and cozy :) This place does have shared amenities and thinner walls, so you have to be mindful of others at all times. This didn’t bother us one bit, but it could be difficult for some

Would totally recommend to young travellers not looking to pay exorbitant fees for a hotel and we would definitely stay here again. Location was a little bit out of the way, but it was also nice to get out of the craziness of Tokyo. The street the hostel is on is very cool as well, so all-in-all the location is still totally fine

The room was nice, the futons slept great and the place was very clean. And the staff were so friendly, Yuta, Nana and their daughter Anna - they are the best! The neighbourhood is little bit far from the city center (but close to Senso-ji temple and Akihabara) but easy to travel by the very organized transportsystem of Tokyo. I would highly recommend this place!! Arrigatooooo! Nothing, everything was perfect. :)

The hosts and family are very nice! They are very responsive, very keen to engage with guests in downtime and are always around to assist should you need help! They also helped carry my luggage up and down the stairs, thank you so much!! The place is incredibly clean, comfortable rest spots for you to relax in the evening. It's situated in an alleyway shopping mall which was unique and had a nice atmosphere, I have nice memories eating out around this area because it gives a very close knit community vibes! The beds were comfy with space underneath my bed to store my belongings. There's two showers but I never felt a clash or wait time whenever I wanted to go. 3 toilets as well which again, I didn't notice any problems waiting All in all I'd happily stay here again :) There's no lift but the family are so happy to help without me even asking, this made me feel happy!! But I felt a bit bad inconveniencing them, so maybe don't come here with your year's worth of belongings lol. Honestly no issues, everything was great! The other guests were also respectful of the quiet lights out time so I had a relaxing stay.

• Diego (10/5): Lovely staff y really nice place to stay! - The place itself was really clean and well kept. The staff was really eager to help you and guide you around the place and gave tips on the travel. Good location and overall best experience on a hostel that I've ever had. The fact that the staff knows English is a big plus! The bed could use some improvement, its not the best for a "long" stay. Nevertheless, for the price was quite good.
• Lindsey (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing amazing family. They're so sweet and helpful. Such a cute place in a quiet part of tokyo. You'll get to see a normal day to day life for the locals. Two train stations nearby to easily access the rest of tokyo.
