• Uroš (7/5): Sprejemljivo, če iščete preprosto nastanitev s polpenzionom - Prijazno osebje Hrana je zelo povprečna. Sobe v pritličju ob bazenu oz. lokalu nimajo nobene zasebnosti. Ker je spalnica v polkleti je zelo slab mobilni signal, wi-fi signala pa sploh ni. Iz prezračevanja v kopalnici prihajajo vonjave iz kuhinje.

• Odermatt (9/5): - Die lage war super und haben ein gratis upgrade erhalten. WC spülung hat nicht immer funktioniert. Das licht im Flur konnten wir nicht einschalten und als es an war konnten wir es nicht mehr ausschalten.
• Jane (5/5): Anderes Hotel als das Sunset Beach vor Ort zugewiesen bekommen - Über Booking com haben wir extra genau dieses Hotel gebucht, da wir dort schon einmal waren. Vor Ort haben wir dann ein anderes Hotel zugewiesen bekommen, welches ca. 200 m entfernt war und auch keinen eigenen Pool hatte. Auch die Sicht zum Sunset war eingeschränkt. Zum Frühstück mussten wir dann auch in das eigentlich gebuchte Hotel. Das fanden wir sehr unglücklich. Hätten wir das vorher gewusst, hätten wir nicht dieses Hotel gebucht.
• Gregory (6/5): Mi sarei aspettato qualcosa in più - La vista sul mare i ragazzi del bar molto disponibili lettini bordo piscina molto comodi. La pulizia non è all ordine del giorno… Poi non sono per nulla flessibili con gli orari di colazione e di cena … Siccome avendo avuto il volo la sera siamo arrivati all 1 di notte e non abbiamo trovato nessuno ad accoglierci abbiamo trovato un foglio attaccato alla porta che ci indicava dove fosse la chiave per entrare in struttura penso che se ci fosse stato qualcuno era meglio. Arrivati in camera non abbiamo trovato nemmeno una bottiglia d’acqua (nulla) Il giorno seguente andiamo al buffet per fare colazione che partiva dalle 7:30 alle 9:30 noi siamo arrivati alle 9:20 e c’era già il personale che stava già tirando su le pietanze praticamente di fretta e furia 9:35 non c’era più nessun vassoio. Va bene che gli orari vanno rispettati ma un po’ di comprensione ci vuole visto e considerato che la persone sono in vacanza. Per la piscina peccato per gli orari dalle 10:00 alle 18:00 molto fiscali 17:58 la piscina era già chiusa. Avendo il mare sottostante ma molto agitato non era il massimo quindi se l’orario era un po’ più prolungato non era una brutta idea. Per fare un bagno al mare tra l’altro la scala che porta in acqua è molto pericolosa. Per la cena ci vorrebbe un po’ più finezza tavoli senza tovaglie praticamente situazione pic nic Mancherebbe un po’ di intrattenimento visto che la località non ha molto come intrattenimento. • Mara (5/5): - Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, die Hotelzimmer sind gut ausgestattet und das Personal ist freundlich. Wir haben Halbpension gebucht, das Essen ist allerdings wirklich nicht gut. Das Frühstück besteht aus Weißbrot, Käse und Wurstsorten. Das Toast schmeckt wirklich überhaupt nicht, die Butter war bereits abgelaufen und bröselig. Der Essbereich drinnen ist super ungemütlich beleuchtet, es stehen mehrere Tische aneinander und es gibt nicht mal Tischdecken um ein etwas schöneres Ambiente zu schaffen. Wir haben das Abendessen gar nicht erst probiert, da das Frühstück uns schon so enttäuscht hat. Als Vegetarier gab es dort nur Kartoffeln/ Erbsen und Möhren. Ich würde die Unterkunft ohne Verpflegung nochmal buchen, jedoch ist das Angebot bezüglich Nahrung fast schon eine absolute Frechheit.

La chambre est suffisamment spacieuse et d'une grande propreté. Le petit déjeuner est copieux. Le buffet pour les repas en demi-pension présente une grande diversités de plats de cuisine traditionnelle grecque, c'est un régal ! On trouve plusieurs plages de sable à proximité, ainsi qu'un arrêt de bus qui permet de sillonner la Crète.

• Susan (10/5): Ein schöne Woche in einem super gelegenen familiären Hotel. - Die Lage direkt am Meer ist super, auch die Anbindung an den ÖPNV. Es ist eine kleine feine Anlage, in der man sich vom ersten Moment wohl fühlt. Das Personal in allen Bereichen (Rezeption, Housekeeping, Restaurant, Bar) ist sehr zuverkommend, immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. nichts

• Suzanne (7/5): Review based on only one night - We travelled with our 17 and 19 year old kids and were only there for one night so it is hard to write a thorough review. We had a very long travel day and just wanted something near the airport for a night once we arrived on Crete. The breakfast was very yummy and the room clean with an excellent view. We swam in the morning before we left for Chania and the water was wavy and perfect. It was very easy to catch the bus from this location into the center of Heraklion. The bus was super close to the property.
• Linda (7/5): This was a very basic hotel with minimal interaction with staff and average accommodations. - Bed was okay and view from room was good. No beachfront. No reception in the afternoon so you needed to go to the bar area if you had a need.

You can go down the steps directly into the water but no sand which is far away. The food is bad and very less options. It's a very basic facility. Not worth the money I paid

There is no beach directly in front of the hotel, but you can still get into the sea via stairs! the breakfast was good and the staff friendly!

We waited for someone from stuff to check us in for about half an hour. Room design is pour. View from the room - main city road. Very crowded and small outdoor pool.

• Oksana (9/5): Superb - The view from the window was incredible! We could watch the sun set into the sea from our balcony! The breakfast was not very diverse, but everything was fresh and tasty. The hotel beach is a little sad, it is almost non-existent, but if you walk a little to the side, there is a beautiful beach near taverns and other hotels with umbrellas and sunbeds.

• Indie (10/5): A lovely hotel overlooking the beach - I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is in a perfect location overlooking the beach and close to amenities. The accommodation was recently renovated and was very good. The staff were lovely - very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good.
• Red Neck (6/5): Just a stone's throw from the Airport - Just a stone's throw from Heraklion Airport, that's why we chose it, 15 Min by car, and TUI shuttle. Generally OK, but direct below the approach line of the planes. Stuff friendly obviously also Russian speaking, which could be an asset according to the provenance of the majority of guests . We got a little breakfast prepared before the off. hours, Room: Small (sufficient for our purpose) no windows, and door leads direct to the inner yard and restaurant area. I'd recommend it for the last night before the flight, not to spend your holidays.
• Galina (4/5): - Ok for 1-2 night stay after / before the flight if your flight take you to Heraklion. Staying longer is a waist of time. There are much better places. About sunset- total lies. There is none. I wonder what made people elaborate on beautiful sunsets. 100% lie. As for the staff, there were just 3 people there. Cleaning person was nice. Front desk person, Xenia, was also ok. Third person, Nicololay, was rather rude. Good breakfast, bad dinner- very limited food choices, no drinks provided, not even water. Water is not drinkable there, and they charge you 2.50 euros for each bottle. On a positive side, it's very close to the airport. It's also on a bus line, and it takes 20 minutes to get to Heraklion (but I recommend saving your time for more interesting places). We stayed there for 3 nights, and then went to the west of the island. I regret staying that long.

• Catherine (10/5): A relaxing, family run hotel on the water front - I was looking for a relaxing beach holiday, with a room that overlooked the sea, and that is exactly what I got. I had a double room, with a large balcony that had beautiful sea views. I also liked that my room had separate living and sleeping rooms, so I felt that had plenty of space. The staff were friendly and laid back, and the hotel had a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. When I arrived, I upgraded to half-board, and the evening meals were always tasty and had a good variety of meat and veggie options. The hotel is close to bus stops that can take you to various sights. It was 20 minutes by bus to Heraklion and only 15 minutes to get to the airport, which was very convenient. I was able to catch the bus back to the airport for only 2 euros.
• Jamie,Suzy,Fred (10/5): Fabulous beachfront location - We have just returned from a 10 day stay at Sunset Beach hotel and are already looking forward to returning next year. We arrived and were greated by Nikos who was very friendly and could not do enough to help us and that continued throughout our stay. The sea and beachfront location could not be beaten and the sunsets were spectacular. The rooms were very spacious and cleaned every day by the hard working cleaner. We had a room by the pool which suited us as having a young son we could pop in and out when we wanted which was very convenient. Throughout our 10 day stay both Nikos's made our holiday. They both went out of their way to ensure we had a good time.
• jacek and wendy (8/5): Nice hotel , close to beach - We booked double room with sea view and balcony ( before booked we watched on fotos rooms what we want ) First day had big schock because we had absolutely very bad room Was on the ground , oposite sweeming pool and area for resting and enjoy customer from hotel , at all time must be closed courtain because people look to bedroom and daily room . We was ready on next day look on different hotel in kokkini hani . I and my Wendy spoke with reception staff about this bad situation Reception staff had consultation with owner and gave for us normal , nice room on first floor with balcony After all was absolutly excellent and our holiday was fabulous Owner , staffs was to us very friendly , food amazing. • Verified traveler (4/5): Ein nettes Hotel mit vielen Fragen - Leider war das gebuchte Familien-Zimmer mit 2 Räumen und Meerblick nicht mehr da. Hotelmitarbeiterin hat mit dem Manager unendlich lang telefoniert allerdings ohne Erfolg. Dann sollte ich zum Nachbarhotel Marilisa fahren und dort vor Ort direkt mit dem Manager sprechen. Es wurde eine Alternative dort angeboten aber weit weg davon, was ursprünglich gebucht wurde, daraus ist ebenfalls nichts geworden. Letztendlich bekam ich für den ersten Tag ein Zimmer mit dem Blick auf die laute Hauptstraße. Das Einchecke hat 2 Stunden gedauert! Am nächsten Tag erhielt ich doch Zimmer mit Meerblick aber das Zimmer hatte alle Wünsche offen gelassen: Es fehlte das Telefon, im Schlafraum gab es neben dem Bett keine Steckdosen, das Zimmer ist so klein, daß die Tür geht gar nicht auf und-zu, weil das Bett auf dem Weg steht. Das Badezimmer inkl. WC ist sehr winzig. Duschen in diesem Hotel ist eine Zumutung, die Duschkabine ist so klein, dass es gar keine Möglichkeit dort gibt sich zu bewegen. Wenn Putzfrau frische Handtücher bringt, lässt sie diese im Vorraum, weil es im Bad kein Platz dafür da ist. Essen ist sehr durchschnittlich. Man hungert zwar nicht aber die Auswahl der Gerichte ist zu klein. Wenn ein Gericht oder Brötchen am Frühstücksbuffet zu Ende ist dann gibt es keinen Nachschub. Ein Vegetarier oder kein Fleischesser kommt hier zu kurz. Getränke kommen aus einem Automaten und sind nicht zu genießen. Im Großen und Ganzen eine Enttäuschung!
