- Vermaak (9/5): Fabulous!! - Miriam was so friendly and kind on arrival. The room was gorgeously decorated; clean and smelt amazing. The outside shower was a huge hit. My boys even had a quick dip in the pool even tho it was raining. The bed was comfortable and the aircon was an added bonus. The breakfast was also delicious and the “Tannie” hosting us in the dining room was also so sweet. We will definitely be back to visit!

- Kiran (10/5): An amazing place, it’s quiet and relaxing. Wish we booked more days - It was clean, modern and had everything we needed including a braai and a pool. I will certainly book again. The strange door locks with the code. We forgot the keys inside and got locked out but we were assisted immediately, no hassle.
- Jonathan (1/5): This has been the WORST guest house experience we have ever had, and I would strongly advise anyone - NOTHING I would absolutely NOT recommend this guest house under any circumstances. Based on our experience, we lost money and received no proper service or resolution.
Please do not use this guest house at all. Their service is completely unacceptable and shockingly poor.
Do not be fooled by appearances or promises. This has been the WORST guest house experience we have ever had, and I would strongly advise anyone to stay far away.
Terrible Service... Extremely arrogant and unprofessional staff.

- Daniel (10/5): A True Gem in Bela Bela – Klip en Kristal Guest House - Klip en Kristal is without doubt one of the most beautiful and well-kept guest houses I’ve ever stayed in. From the moment you arrive, you are welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality that immediately makes you feel at home.
The rooms are elegant, spotless, and tastefully decorated with a touch of luxury that makes every stay feel special. The attention to detail is exceptional – from the comfortable beds and quality linen to the little extras that make you feel truly cared for.
The outdoor setting is breathtaking, with a sparkling pool and lush garden that create the perfect space to relax and unwind. The guest house is peaceful, private, and designed to make you forget about the rush of everyday life.
Breakfast is a highlight – fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The staff go above and beyond to ensure every guest is looked after, and their service is both professional and personal.
Whether you’re visiting Bela Bela for business or leisure, Klip en Kristal is the perfect choice. It’s more than just accommodation – it’s an experience of comfort, beauty, and warm South African hospitality.
Highly recommended – I will definitely be back! Room for improvement: from the Diamond Room you can hear some staff talking in the kitchen, and there was no shampoo or shower gel provided (perhaps an oversight).

- Albert (10/5): Very comfortable stay at a classy venue - Location excellent, on-site parking excellent . Bed was very comfortable, and shower superb.
Also very surprised they had a full dstv package available . Sport , movies etc. The structure of the house , is such that if you are allocated rooms at.the back , you have to walk through the dining area - this could be disruptive to the rest of the guests
- Mpho (5/5): -
- Alan (9/5): Very satisfied with my stay and be more than happy to recommend it to anyone. Will stay there again - Great room with beautiful soft white bed linnen. Ample space in the room and with an area to work at a desk. Friendly staff that make yoo feel very welcome. Great value for money. Can't mention anything, was relly happy with my stay.

- Mashabela (8/5): Very good - Place is neat and workers are friendly I think they can improve the breakfast. I was not impressed
- Buhle (6/5): Pleasant - The bed is comfortable. Spacious bathroom, but the shower is small. There is good WiFi connectivity. The breakfast was bad. I couldn't even eat the omelette.
- Nadia (10/5): Perfect!! - MERIAM and Kristal very lovely and helpful and kind. Saffier room was very nice and big and full equiped Nothing was bad.
- Rohrmoser (1/5): Awful - Never ever booking here again, but the room was nice, the beds were comfortable and decent facilities. As someone who travels a lot as a sales representative all over South Africa, I have never had such a terrible experience as I did staying at this place.
There were very noisey inconsiderate guests who arrived at 02:30 in the morning, blaring their music from their car, speaking loudy, then still half drunk go and proceed to argue with the "care taker" of the property to allow unpaying guests to stay over...for over an hour.
After the additional persons left, they continued to make noise, having no regard for other paying guests till 05:00 in the morning. This behavior was allowed by the establishment and could have been nipped in the bud, but they chose to prioritize these rude individuals over all of their other guests. I thought people book accommodation to SLEEP over. Cleary, I was mistaken. After having no sleep, my finace and I got up and got out there.
Definitely, not worth the money. Rather book at any one of the many other accommodations in the area.
- Anthony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hendrik (8/5): Great - Therw is no circulation of air..only two windows..maybe a fan ould work( a ceiling fan)..its for people that can sleep with an aircon. This is only a suggestion...
