• marshall (1/5): Shit - Nothing - checked out after five hours - booked a standard double room, the bed was that small me and my partner could not fit on it and I’m 5ft 1. - clump of hair found in the bedding - booked a room with air con - air con wasn’t working and provided with a plug in air con machine. My breathe was colder than the machine. - checked out and booked another hotel due to staff not being at the reception and wanted to resolve issues the following day even though we physically couldn’t fit on the bed to sleep never mind the heat, asked us to come to reception at 9am the next day even though we had plans early morning and shouldn’t have to change our plans to make sure we had the correct room that was booked months in advance. - refused to provide a refund even though we checked out before midnight on the day of checking in.
• Julian (9/5): Great value for money but Laureta's service made it a great choice. - I arrived early, needed to leave a bag before onward travel. Laureta was very helpful and courteous. It was the same in the morning when I needed to check out but leave a bag for a while. I will definitely be staying again on my next trip. The location was excellent for reaching ExCel and later into London itself.

Un poco decepcionada la verdad. pica en la habitación y no en el baño... Tenías que lavarte los dientes delante de la cama En 2 noches no han recogido la habitación ni un día, desde un hotel de 4* y el precio pagado, me esperaba mejor servicio; de 3 papeleras solo recogieron la del baño, las otras dos no. Cabezal de la cama, y superficies y calentador de agua llenas de polvo ( y no de uno o dos días). Cama muy pequeña, inferior a lo estándar, una cama para dos personas entiendo que se podía asociar una cama de 150, no de 131; cómoda pero muy pequeña. La zona.... Deja mucho que desear sobre todo por limpieza y tranquilidad. Lo siento por el personal que es muy amable pero no volvería ni lo recomendaría.
• Mark (6/5): - The staff were amazingly helpful, including Mert and Loretta. They went above and beyond, even helping us with where to pick up local transport. 5* customer service. Didn't like that there were no provisions to have breakfast at the hotel, only in a cafe over the road. Also, there was no wash basin in the bathroom, only in the bedroom, which we found inconvenient after needing to wash our hands after using the toilet. The hot water took ages to come through the taps and shower, and run cold for quite a while before it warmed up. Whilst the room and bed itself were clean, our bedroom floor wasn't very clean and made our socks dirty and wasn't ideal with bare feet.. We know the bathroom was designed as a wet room, but the water was very slow to drain after a shower which meant that you got wet feet when using the toilet afterwards. .We must admit that we did find the accommodation a bit disappointing, and felt that it did not meet with our expectations for a 4* rating.

Pulizia, letto scomodo, assenza di box doccia (la doccia è di fianco al gabinetto e si allaga tutto il bagno), lavandino separato dal bagno e attaccato al letto, letto scomodo, rumore intenso proveniente dalla strada (le finestre isolano molto poco).

• Wells (9/5): Great stay for price - Our stay was lovely , Laureta at the front desk was so helpful and kind she made check in smooth and showed us up to our room and explained how everything works, we would come back again Nothing we didnt like but having the sink outside the bathroom confused us a little as thats different to where we have stayed before and at home

Even a fridge and safe. We’ve stayed here a few times and will always use it when visiting our old home… LONDON. Thanks guys

• Narayan (7/5): - I mean if you are looking for something basic this place is fine. It's certainly a three star hotel. The service was great - the staff were nice and also the location is good just 6 mins walking from the Whitechapel station. There are key missing aspects in these hotel rooms. The shower head is really bad because it makes you almost stand in an unsafe position where you can slip and injure yourself. For a two person room you only get two towels which is appalling - You would at least appreciate a towel for the feet in the bathroom so you don't slip once you get out of the shower.

• Fariha (2/5): - It was in a convenient location The room was so hot it was like a sauna. The temperature couldn’t be changed and the AC didn’t work. The windows were also difficult to open and as a result I couldn’t sleep all night. Also the tv wasn’t working and there was no one at reception to help as I noticed this late night past 11pm. It’s ok for a cheap stay but no space to move in the room.

• Nizana (8/5): Good value, easy access, welcoming staff! - Easy access (10 mins walk) from Whitechapel station with attractions like Brick lane and Spitalfields Market nearby. Cosy room with good facilities, good value for the price. Able to store bags with the reception after check out. Thank you Laureta for making us feel so welcomed during our stay! Area is not the safest at night. Front door to the hotel not locked or guarded by security after 11pm (but the lifts were secured by room key verification). The shower panel didn’t really help with stopping the water from spraying out, and slow drain.

• Jarvin Jayce Cabasag (10/5): Excellent 10/10 - I recently booked a stay at The Whitechapel Hotel for my parents, and I cannot thank the staff enough for making them feel so welcome. From the moment they arrived, the service was top-notch. A special thank you to Elmas, who handled their check-in so smoothly and set a wonderful tone for their stay, and to Laureta, who was incredibly kind and a pleasure to speak with. We also met three other receptionists whose names I didn’t catch, but they were all equally professional and helpful. Beyond the front desk, the rest of the staff were wonderful, always friendly and professional. We were also very impressed with the housekeeping. the rooms were cleaned every day, and both the room and the hotel itself were spotless and accessible. The hotel is perfectly located for visiting family in the area. We’ll definitely be booking directly with you next time! 10/10 experience. none

Kon al vroeg mijn kamer op, kreeg op alle vragen een goed antwoord en kreeg een stekker om mijn apparaten op te laden. Proche de Brick Lane et Tower Bridge. La chambre un peu exiguë, le lavabo dans la chambre, et non dans la salle de bain, ce qui est peu pratique. L’environnement proche de l’hôtel est peu engageant, surtout le soir.

I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, but there is a great place for breakfast just across the street. Comfortable bed. The room was fairly quiet. The street is relatively dark at night. The surrounding area is not very clean. At my arrival, I surprisingly found a shirt in my room. I asked for it to be removed, but no one took care of it during my entire stay

A szállás nem túl nagy épület, szépen karbantartott, modern felszereltségű. Szinte bármelyik szállásra elmondható, és sajnos itt is jellemző: nincs elegendő polc a kipakoláshoz. Ketten érkeztünk, kettő kisebb bőrönddel. Az egyikhez volt állvány, de a másik már csak a földre kerülhetett. Van egy kisebb szekrény hat vállfával, de nincs sehol egy fogas. Még a vizes törölközőt sem lehet sehova sem kiteríteni száradni.

• Florian629 (5/5): Leider wurden unsere Erwartungen enttäuscht. - Es war nicht wirklich sauber, schon bei der Ankunft war das Toilettenpapier leer und der Hygieneeimer im Bad war voll mit den Hinterlassenschaften der letzten 2 Damen. Zudem waren die Vorhänge schmutzig und defekt und hingen daneben. Die Klimaanlage war zwar laut aber funktionierte nicht wirklich. Zimmer war anders als die Bilder erwarten ließen alt und abgewohnt, das Duschen in der Wanne gestaltete sich schwierig und sitzen auf der Toilette ohne sich die Knie an der Wanne zu stoßen war nicht möglich.

Area is a bit of a worry, if we were coming back after dark I’d get an uber to the front door rather than walk - our first taxi driver told us to be careful and not be too flashy.
