- Verified traveler (10/5): 출장목적 - 중국어를 하지 않는 사람이 장춘에 묵기 편한 호텔이었습니다. 호텔 스텝들이 대체적으로 영어를 잘 했고 친절하여서 머무는 동안 불편함이 없었습니다. 호텔 내 레스토랑이 두개여서 (하나는 조식 레스토랑, 하나는 중국 레스토랑) 장기 투숙시 좀 선택의 폭이 적은 것과 주변에 상가들이 부족한 부분 외에는 큰 불편은 없었습니다. 대각선 맞은편에 IFC 몰이 완공되고 나면 부족한 상가부분을 채워줄수 있을 듯합니다.

- Stephanie (8/5): They're trying. I'll return. - I must say, it is my favorite lodging in Changchun. Compared to the shangri-la I prefer both the rooms and the quieter atmosphere. It is closer to the nightlife area of guilin. On the other hand for a Hyatt as well as the most expensive hotel in the city, I'd say they do the typical 90% is good enough. Focusing on the little things is important, but focusing on the unimportant things is far too little in this case. The staff is genuine and friendly. I stayed on the club level and while I was greeted with smiles I felt as if I was being watched and didn't belong. More than once, over attentive staff followed me around as I went from area to area making me feel as if they were concerned for the silverware in the lounge. Relax Hyatt staff, if I need something. I'll ask. If not, leave me to my own devices. Check in was fine. I was a bit early 1230pm so I waited in the lounge for my room to be prepped. Other than that check in was smooth enough. My room was prepaid, I think asking me to pay more than the room cost for a deposit was a bit rediculous but when I mentioned it, she lowered it by half without hesitation. The room was nice, real nice actually. Beds are comfy. But the ac on all 3 of my stays just won't go low. It's almost like a swamp cooler not an ac unit. I wasn't exactly hot, but I certainly wasn't comfortable either. Room service leaves much to be desired. In this area, they are indeed prompt. Wrong food, the food they did bring just simply isn't up to hyatt standard.

- Yukimura (8/5): 43階建てホテル - 泊まった部屋が41階だったので、部屋からの眺めが良かった。朝食は中華が中心だが、パンやサラダもあり、美味しい。部屋は大きく綺麗。ホテルを出るとすぐに地下鉄の解放大路駅がある。問題があるとすれば、大きなホテルなのに受付の人が1人～2人なので、チェックイン、チェックアウトととも何分間か待たされたことか。 以下、Hotels.comへ。Hotels.comに載っている地図が間違っています。『地球の歩き方』の地図と照合して間違いに気が付いたから良かったものの、Hotels.comの地図を信じていたら、言葉の通じない街で真夜中に迷子になるところでした。地図が間違っている可能性を出発前に指摘したはずですが、まだ訂正されていません。

- やもる２ (8/5): 天井の高いタワーホテル - 部屋が広々としていて天井が高く、バスとシャワーブースとトイレが別々。眺望がすばらしく快適に過ごせました。 フロント以外のスタッフに英語が通じにくい、ロビーバーが喫煙可、しかも分煙されていない、朝食のシリアルに小石が入っていた、雷雨の時すごい勢いで窓から雨漏りがした、など問題は多々ありますが、若いスタッフたちが一生懸命なのと宿泊料がリーズナブルなのでまあ、いいかと・・・ホテルの問題というより中国という国のシステムの問題だと思いました。

And the breakfast buffet was great. The hotel is located outside the city center and next to a park. Didn't see any interesting restaurants nearby.

There were two problems: (1) the pool was very dirty by internatiinal standards, and did not have any chlorine in it; and (2) the restaurants only had a B rating from the local hygiene authorities. I didn't notice anyroblems with cleanliness in the guest rooms but a luxury hotel should be 100% perfectly clean in every area as a basic starting point.

The staff have deliberately rigged the air-condition to have a temperature no less than 24 degree, no matter what you do. Even when you call them to come take a look at it, they set it up to the maximum cooling yet it cannot reach less than 24 C. what a shame!!

- Zhihua (10/5): Amazing new hotel in the heart of changchun - I loved my stay at the Hyatt Regency Changchun. The hotel was extremely new (recently built) and the service was by far the best I've received. For the teenager like me, I think the only thing that this hotel is missing is a bar, since the lobby bar is fairly quiet (but I was told that it's being built right now). The food is also amazing at the hotel I will definitely go back!

- Jeanette (10/5): Business trip to Changchun - The hotel is apparently very new, opened in February this year. I was in Changchun for work, but chose this hotel because it was one of the few hotels with a gym and was closest to the university I was visiting. I really enjoyed the gym as it was spacious and usually I was the only person in there. I had a king size bed room, and the room was spacious also with a big bathroom, one side was a shower, and the other side was a giant bathtub. The room was very clean and had everything I needed. The only problem I had with the room was that the shower drain was clogged so by the second day I showered, the water drained very slowly and I had to turn off the water towards the end for a little while just to let it finish draining before continuing to shower. Everything else was great. Unfortunately I was so busy with work that I didn't explore the areas around the hotel, but there were plenty of restaurants around as far as I could tell. Breakfast was included with my room, and it was one of the best breakfast buffets I've had. The restaurant where breakfast was served each morning was also lovely, with sun coming through the windows, making it a pleasant place for a leisurely breakfast.
