À l’arrivée, la réception m’a indiqué que les chiens n’étaient acceptés que dans une cabane déjà occupée. L’accueil a été désagréable et aucune solution satisfaisante n’a été proposée. Informations trompeuses et manque de professionnalisme.

• Esther (6/5): Gute Lage und bequeme Betten. - Die Lage ist sehr gut, mit einem schönen Weitblick auf das Wasser. Ca. 10 Gehminuten vom Städtchen. Die Betten waren sehr gut und es hat auch guten Stauraum im Zimmer. Das Zimmer war gut beheizt. Der Handtuchwärmer ist genial. Die allgemeinen Räume wie Essraum oder Aufenthaltsraum waren sehr frisch und die Räume sind extrem überfüllt. Weniger wäre mehr. Am Abend hatte es im Fernsehzimmer ein Feuer, das etwas wärmte. Das Badezimmer hat nicht viel Ablageflächen.
• Melanie (9/5): Mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet - leckeres Frühstück und gemütliche Zimmer - Das Haus ist super süß eingerichtet, viele kleine schöne Details. Der Empfang war herzlich und freundlich, das Personal insgesamt super nett und zugewandt. Das Bett war sehr bequem, das Zimmer ausreichend groß. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker - kann man nur empfehlen. Was anders war als bei anderen B&Bs (was ich so nicht kenne) war, dass man für ein Full Irish Breakfast o.ä. extra zahlen musste.

• Di Well-Mill (10/5): Comfort in Cobh - Robin Hill is a lovely guesthouse on the hill overlooking Cobh harbour. Deidre is a warm, welcoming, kind host. The room was comfortable and cozy and the breakfast was delicious. We liked everything.

• Juliet (10/5): - This was the most memorable stay of my trip! It's a beautiful historic house in a quiet part of Cobh, lovingly run by a woman named Dee. The common areas are cosy and well-decorated, and the room was as cleanly and comfy as any hotel. The towel-warming bars in the bathroom worked! -unlike several other places I stayed. Tea and small biscuits were provided in the room. We were unsure where to go for dinner, but Dee recommended us a place that was actually having its opening night - The Last Drop, which is right on the water and somewhat upscale - terrific meal and lavish dessert! In the morning, we had Dee's exceptional breakfast service at the house for just 15 euro each; I had a vegetarian Irish breakfast, as well as my pick of what the continental breakfast included - tea, pain au chocolate, fruit, cereal, and Dee's homemade jam. Would 100% stay here again! It may change hands, but Dee is looking to sell it to someone who is dedicated to keeping it up in the same manner - they'd better! What a lovely place.
• Alexandra Nicole (9/5): A Cosy, Dog-Friendly Cabin Escape in Beautiful Cobh 🐾 - I recently stayed in a charming dog-friendly cabin in Cobh, Cork, and it was exactly the peaceful escape I needed. The cabin was cosy yet spacious, with beautiful views and a warm, welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The host, Deirdre, was incredibly friendly and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. It felt private and relaxing, while still being close enough to enjoy local cafés and attractions. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, dog-friendly getaway in Cork. If I had to pick something, it would maybe only be that the breakfast could be improved.

• Ryann (7/5): Beautiful house - Robin Hill House is a beautiful place to stay with quaint charm and a lovely garden over looking the sea. It was a fantastic spot to watch magpies and enjoy the Irish weather. Ignoring Google maps, you can walk straight down to the shore and it's a beautiful walk into town. The owner of the house, Dierdre, is a delight! She had wonderful tips for the area and was very friendly whenever we saw her. We found the organization to be a bit scattered. If we had a question about something, it was sometimes hard to find someone to ask. We felt like some of the finer details of our stay were lost. For example, they didn't give us more toilet paper when our room was serviced. Also, for a bed and breakfast, unless you paid extra, the breakfast was a little sparse.

Molto bella la zona comune della struttura, con caminetto a legna che poteva essere anche gestito dagli ospiti. Quando siamo arrivati, uno degli ospiti si trovava proprio nella zona comune, accanto al camino acceso, leggendo un libro. Gran bella atmosfera. Non si tratta di un punto negativo, dipende dalle persone. Si tratta di una villetta storica ristrutturata, quindi gli interni (bagni/arredamento) sono un po' retrò.
• Mark (6/5): We had to find a place at the last minute, and they had a room open. - Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good. Within walking distance to the train and the cruise terminal... but very steep hills to get there. Definitely not handicap accessible. You must be able bodied to stay here. Watch your step at the entrance to the cottage as it is strangely angled. The bedroom was very small. The bed is against 3 walls, so if used by two persons, the inner person can't get out without both getting out. There were two of us, so I opted to sleep on the couch. I'm only 5'7", but didn't fit, so slept on the cushions and pillows from the couch placed on the floor. WiFi is available, but only in the main room of the main building. The WiFi router is ancient and under-powered... they really need a mesh system that can reach the ENTIRE property, even the cottage and outdoors areas. (Mesh systems are no longer expensive.)
• Lorie (8/5): - Quaint, charming BnB in older building. Room and common areas very homey. (Room a bit crowded with extra furniture - could pare down to one chair so that there is room for suitcases) Nice simple breakfast.

• Gail (5/5): - Location, easy walking distance to town center and view. Misrepresentation of goods and services offered. When booking with booking.com we were offered a complimentary robe, toiletries, and welcome drink upon arrival. We were provided toiletries however no robes were offered and when offered the welcome drink and after we confirmed they were complimentary with Susana we were charged at the end of our stay. When questioned by Dierdre and Susana why we did not pay, we provided the statement on booking.com that it was complimentary and told them we confirmed with Susana that this was so they responded by claiming that they never have offered complimentary drinks. Our friends who were travelng with us recieved a similar confrontation but were threatened with negative reviews and hostility. They were attempting to charge both if our parites for the drinks adding up to 10 drinks when we only recieved 5. We did ultimatemy pay the for the 5 drinks that we did consume but felt like we were being harrassed, and threatened. Although the place was nice the staff were not.

• Ann (8/5): We only stayed one night so it fit our needs - adequate parking, comfortable beds, easy check in. - The location was good and Deidre was great. Breakfast was good. There were a few too many nick knacks and candles around for my taste!
• Teresa (9/5): Unique guest house - This guest house is absolutely stunning, offering a unique experience in every way. Its location is ideal, and the staff are extremely friendly. The breakfast spread is also excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from.
• Belinda (9/5): Owned by a wonderful host, who is warm friendly and generous. - Beautiful gardens, and beautiful house. So warm and cosy with a log fire burning in the gorgeous living room. We had the most comfortable and enjoyable stay, sadly our last night in beautiful Ireland.

• Janet (10/5): Lovely little place. - Lovely place, we stayed in the cabin which was beautifully furnished, lovely finishing touches, great private space to relax in. Everything we needed and much more. Amazing breakfast choices in the main house. Cobh is a lovely little town.

• Sharon (10/5): Strange breakfasts - Everything was really nice. Deidre was so friendly and kind. She made dinner reservations for us and gave us walking directions to the restaurant. Breakfast time was a little strange, we opted for the continental breakfast both days, and because we weren’t in the dining room at a certain time, someone came and knocked on our door wondering where we were, granted we were ten minutes past the time we wrote on breakfast request form, but we didn’t require any prepared food, just coffee and a croissant. The server was lovely though. The second morning it was just odd, we were treated like an inconvenience, like they didn’t expect us, even though we returned our breakfast form with all three names on it, requesting again, just continental breakfast. The two that were working were just unpleasant and made our last morning there very uncomfortable. Every table in the dining area was dirty, so it’s not like we were keeping them from closing the room. The B&B itself was nice, secluded and quiet with a great view. It is a little rundown however, and could definitely use some detailing.

• Peggy (8/5): Schönes stilvoll eingerichtetes B&B. - Sehr ruhig gelegenes B&B auf dem Berg. Man hat eine gute Aussicht und der Garten ist sehr schön. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett. Tolles Frühstück, wir bekamen sogar eine heiße Schokolade mit Marshmallow. Für den Fußweg in die Stadt braucht man ca. 20 min. Die muss man abends auch wieder den Berg hoch. Wer nicht so gut zu Fuß ist, sollte das Auto/ Taxi hier nutzen.

Situado a 15 minutos a pie del centro del precioso pueblo de Cobh El precio incluye desayuno continental básico. Si quieres un irish breakfast o algo caliente, se tiene que pagar un suplemento de 5 e . Creo que el precio de la habitación debería ya incluir todas las opciones.

• Till (10/5): Great cabin with friendly and helpful staff - We stayed in the dog-friendly cabin which is clean, has everything you need and is very spacious. It gives a kind of cosy cabin in the woods vibe. The staff was friendly and helpful. The dog isn’t allowed in the main house for breakfast but that was no issue for us. The shower doesn’t have a lot of pressure (my wife has long hair so this matters😉). It is about a 30min walk from the town centre.
