• melissa (7/5): Unexpected great stay! - The room was decent. You could tell that they have done some remodeling. There was plenty of HOT water in the shower. great bonus, and the room was cold! Clean and the mattress had a cover great deal. i would stay again! Loved that the had a Indian food truck right next door! I think that the beds need to be updated

They have a food truck that sells the best lamb chops you will ever have. Stayed here for months. Absolutely a gem and for the price just amazing.

• Merrie (2/5): Nasty, filthy, don't stay here! - Located in sketchy part of town. Checked in, door to room was very dirty, opened door to find old room with very tattered furniture, windows were dirty, floor was littered, old nasty carpet, bedspreads dirty, worn out bedskirts, bathroom had obviously not been cleaned, pee on and around toilet, scummy shower curtain had not been laundered in months, bathtub had scum, mirror still spotted from previous guest. Told manager and she said he cleans it every time. Insisted she bring a clean shower curtain and clean the toilet. Was not a comfortable stay at all, neither of us wanted to get in the shower due to the condition of the bathroom. I wouldn't advise anyone to rent here, they have no concept to cleanliness at all.

• Jessica (8/5): Pleasantly surprised - Hubs and I were making a trip from Arizona to San Antonio. I booked this room blindly online. Honestly, it was the most reasonable priced hotel in this cute little town. I knew we would just be sleeping, so I figured, what could it hurt? I was impressed. When we checked in, the staff was so nice and friendly. The room was clean, and the bed was comfy. The room worked perfectly for what we needed. There's even a yummy Indian food truck ( Tandoori ) next to the property if you're hungry. This will definitely be our stop for a room any time we are driving through.

Previous guest dripped some liquid in the fridge, microwave had food residue. Sink area and mirror had water spots, dead roach in the entry. Parking lot is well lite, but do have some road noise. Overall i would stay here again.

• ElliotFan (6/5): Maybe bad housekeeping staff forgot to clean this room! - This place is very low-priced, and the reviews that stated small & simple but clean attracted us. Our room was definitely not clean. You could tell that overall, it's a nice, clean, no-frills mom-and-pop place. But maybe they're having staffing problems. The bathroom had hair on the floor, the sink, fixtures, and mirror were just as the last user left them. Floor around the toilet not wiped. There was a plastic bag of (pretty gross) trash still in the room. The microwave had dried rice on the turntable. Grime on the doors. I try to be fair and understanding, and I almost never write a negative review, bur until you read that the owner/manager has remedied the situation I would not risk it. I am hoping this is read by the person in charge and the person who did not do their job is dismissed. The gentleman in the lobby was apologetic and offered to clean it himself, but I had already attacked everything with Clorox wipes.
• Grady (2/5): - We stayed in room 101. • There was no soap in the soap dispenser in the shower, which was found out only after getting all wet. • The towels were frayed. • No stopper in the bathroom sink which is where the top to my toothpaste almost went. • The bathroom mirror was not clean. • No facial tissue. • There was a coffee maker but no coffee pot. • The ice bucket did not have a plastic lining. • The ice machine lid did not stay up unless you held it up with your head. • There were urine stains on the wall near the bathroom. • The lights in the parking lot flickered like strobe lights. Very irritating. • The TV did not work. I had to go to the office to get someone who could do something about it. • No clock in the room but perhaps that is standard now a days.

• JAMES (8/5): - A hidden gem for a good night’s sleep, great bed. If you’re looking for luxury this place isn’t for you. We stayed here about 10 years ago and were impressed so gave it another try. Just passing through so all we needed was a place to sleep. And the price couldn’t be beat.
