The spa facilities were top-notch, and we loved the spacious pool along with the variety of saunas and jacuzzi options. The massage was brilliant, truly relaxing. We especially appreciated the well-organized setup and the focus on safety. Plus, the cleanliness was impeccable, there was always someone tidying up, and looking after things. The customer service both at the hotel and the club, was excellent throughout we enjoyed an all-around fantastic visit! Liked everything! … would have loved to enjoy the relaxing spa and pool music throughout the day, rather than during the mornings :)

- Annette (9/5): We really enjoyed our stay. - Beautiful surroundings and grounds. Really helpful staff. Our room was changed due to the noise. We were given another room with a free upgrade which was excellent. The food in the restaurant was very good and the staff were lovely. Our room was next to 2 large air conditioning units outside. It was very noisy and we were unable to sleep for the first night.

Sunday dinner was very good & having a drink on the terrace in the sun was so nice. Just to note the hotel does not have a lift which might be awkward with heavy luggage etc.

We forgot our toothpaste but your receptionist was great and we got a new toothpaste. This was an excellent service. Thanks again to the receptionist who provided us with the tube. Please check the wall lights in room 220. And also the shower head needs a new washer between head and flexible hose. Nevertheless this did not disturb our stay with you.

- Wharton (9/5): Lovely hotel - will visit again {with different room!} - nice location and grounds, spa available to guests, well maintained bedroom and comfy bed, all staff friendly and helpful, on a Dinner, bed and breakfast rate which was great value with a lovely evening meal and breakfast. was in room 215 although a 1st floor room felt overlooked by the lodges, which we felt were too near the hotel, perhaps hotel could consider net curtains at the windows of the rooms overlooking the lodges for privacy of both hotel and lodge occupants, also not got a problem with children enjoying their holiday but playing football on the grass under our window at 8am is not conducive to a restful break away
- Rachel (1/5): Very disappointing for the price. Will not return. - Lovely location, beautiful gardens/surroundings. Nowhere to park, despite giant empty car parks reserved only for golfers. Took 15 minutes driving around to find somewhere. The toilet in our room did not flush, meaning not a very romantic stay. The toilet was constantly trying to flush throughout the stay, so no sleep due to constant running water. Bathroom was tired and dated in general. Didn’t dare shower. (Only 1x 5ml shower gel for 2 adults provided). Very limited room refreshments/toiletries, not even water. All staff apart from breakfast staff seemed miserable and we felt like a hindrance. Breakfast was poor quality. For nearly £130 per night it was extortionate. Grateful to have only had to stay for one night.

Breakfast can only be described as chaotic, 2 staff to serve all breakfast guests so we had to wait to be seated as they didn't have time to serve guests and clear tables. Very friendly polite staff but run off their feet. No plates, had to ask for these. Very little left in terms of fresh fruit, ham, cheese, yogurt etc at 9.30am but I think you could ask for more. No pastries but a hot breakfast buffet which was ok. Hotel is very hot and stuffy! Especially in the hallways and breakfast room. At least you can open the bedroom windows to help a little with this. Hotel room was very big which was great but decor is very tired. Basic toiletries offered (2 x shampoo and bar of soap). Spa is lovely but again a little tired in places with missing tiles around the outdoor Jacuzzi.

Didn't have time to use facilities but looked nice from our observations of the restaurant, bar and outside areas. Parking was difficult at the time we arrived, overflow directions could have be more clear. Room was spacious and comfortable, the shower was very poor. The TV didn't work, reported, staff tried to resolve without success. Shower very poor

I was very happy to receive a free upgrade to a deluxe room, which turned out to be very well appointed including state of the art air conditioning. The staff were, to a person, friendly and welcoming. They make this hotel very welcoming and I thank them. The facilities around the complex are superb and the location great for exploring Lincolnshire. Nothing. Surprised there wasn't any shower gel in the shower as I left mine at home!

- Shaun (10/5): - This old fashioned building by the side of a golf course. Good facilities. You will need transport if you are going into the local town of Louth. 1600hrs check in and 1000hrs check out.
- Sandra (4/5): It was not the Best but ok. - Lovely looking property from the outside and great location for where we needed to be Very dated wallpaper coming away in need of redecoration in our room. The curtains had a lot of dust on them like they haven’t been cleaned for an extremely long time.
- Melanie (8/5): fantastic break away - lodge was very nice and clean, lovely sitting area outside to have a drink. acess to the spa was a nice extra too. the evening meal was very good standard and drink prices reasonable. nothing negative, had a lovely stay and will be back again

- john (8/5): Generally a comfortable stay with good staff. - Breakfast and meals generally good value. On the first day, the plates at breakfast were cold but on subsequent days they were hot. Parking also good I did ask for a quiet room, but the one i was allocated was next to a staff stairway, so was quite noisy at times. It was also much smaller than my colleague's!

- Lizzie (5/5): Wouldnt go back - Close to where we needed to be and shower was great. Stains allover the carpet some bleach stains some looked like uhm something else. Something sticky allover the remote and inbetween the buttons. Stains on the bed. When i reported it to them they had a load of excuses. I asked for the manager to call me back and they never did. Really dissapointing.

- Shan (9/5): Exceeded expectations and we would love to return. - The property was in a good location and in great condition. Spotless throughout. The sofas were not long enough for lounging on but this is just a personal preference.

- Kathleen (8/5): A mini break. - The location is good. The staff are very helpful. The only soap in the shower is a small piece of soap. There were no tissues in the room. These were however minor issues.

- Jean (6/5): Have stayed a few times, standards slipping a little, It's a local stay for me which is good. - Easy booking in and out. Use of spa. Good place to stay near home with Granddaughter. Booked a deluxe room, not worth paying extra for. On pillowcase didn't look too clean (reported at reception). I had a child with me but only one hand towel, shampoo and conditioner in room, the room was for two. Think children still need to wash hand and hair. Again mentioned at reception on leaving. Not all spa facilities were in use.
