Had help to bring luggage up but on leaving struggled as help was there but late. There was not much air in the living area felt really hot even with fan.
- T (8/5): Very nice place to stay for a large group of people - clean, spacious at a very good price. - Rented this place for both families to reside prior to our wedding - it was of great size, accommodated approx.16 people. There was ample space for everyone to spend some time together with sufficient number of bathrooms for all. All in all a very good find! The apartments were only accessible by stairs so can be quite inconvenient if you have many bags/luggage. AC units are only in the bedrooms - if there were AC in the living area it would have been perfect, however there is a ceiling fan, which is not the same as the AC but it was ok. Parking - there is only one street parking spot for free - you can park on the street but there are parking attendants who will fine. If there was some addition parking space it would be great.

Bathrooms are reasonably clean with hot water available. Host was very helpful and allowed us to stay until 5.30pm after checkout without further charges. Location was great and closer to everything. - Maksym (10/5): Big apartment for big group - The apartment consists of two bedrooms (one with two double beds and a single bed, the other with one double bed and one single bed), two bathrooms and one common room with a kitchen, a dining table, a sofa and an armchair. There is everything you need - air conditioners in each bedroom, ceiling fans in all three rooms, two fridges, plenty of plates, bowls, forks, spoons, knives and pans. They provide with big towels. There is a washing machine in one of the bathrooms(although you need to buy liquid detergent or washing powder to use it). Also there are two balconies where we enjoyed our morning coffee watching chipmunks running on the roofs or listening to birds singing. I'm the kitchen there is a huge cooler with drinking water. The owner is friendly and helpful. The photos are a little bit different from what the apartment actually looks like, but we enjoyed each minute of our stay there. wanted to stay longer

- Prashanth (10/5): Amazing stay in colombo - We arrived after midnight on the 3rd of February with children, my youngest had been sick all over me due to the climate change. The owner&care taker of the property was so helpful we asked for food she ordered it straight away and provided jam as well as it was late&dangerous to walk the streets to go looking for anything. We was very well looked after we had the amazing tea each morning I would highly recommend. Would be coming back to stay later in July. The kitchen sink was blocked, but as soon as I told the owner the next day, the maintenance team came and fixed it.

- Pradeep (1/5): Accommodation in very poor condition - We booked this accommodation for three nights in December 2023. Unfortunately, I have to say that a lot of things were unpleasant from arrival to departure. First of all, I was called by the owner of the accommodation a week before arrival and was told that there had been an overbooking. I should cancel the accommodation via Booking. I was unable to fulfill this request because this notification was at short notice and we were traveling with children. The owner could have rented out the accommodation at a higher price, and she often said this on the phone, which we found very cheeky. Ultimately she accepted the booking and we drove to the accommodation at the time booked. Then, disappointingly, the trouble really started. We were assigned accommodation that didn't match the pictures on Booking at all. The owner has two buildings with several accommodations. A building where she has already renovated her accommodation and a building with accommodation that is in great need of renovation. When we complained she only had a tired smile and excuses. We ultimately accepted this accommodation in very poor condition. What was also annoying was that the accommodation wasn't cleaned once during our stay! Breakfast was included in the price, but we didn't get that either. But with this accommodation you would lose your appetite anyway. What I would also like to point out is that a bag was opened and searched for valuables while we were away!!! I can only advise against this accommodation, it will save you trouble and disgust

But it was a very clean, spacious and comfortable apartment and had everything a family could need for a short stay. Lots of ants everywhere. We don't mind at all, but our younger son is terrified of ants and it caused a few difficulties. Wifi signal was very low inside the rooms. A toaster would have been nice

It was clean and safe, and the hosts provided a FANTASTIC breakfast that was customized for our group and preferences. Internet connection was stable and usable for Zoom calls. Good location with many options within walking distance. Really nothing not to like. This stay was a great value for the money. I was somewhat surprised to see that the host preferred a cash payment in USD, but was able to meet the requirement. This should have been communicated more clearly in the listing.

- Dennis (8/5): Prisvärt och trevligt - Vi kom tidigt, men de fixade frukost när vi kom dit. De erbjöd sig även att byta ut en av frukostarna mot en traditionell middag, vilket vi gjorde. De fixade även bil till tåget sista dagen när vi var stressade. Enda att anmärka på var att det ibland kändes som att det var jobbigt att fixa saker till oss även om vi sa att de inte behövde göra det, och att det ligger en bit bort från centrum och tågstationen (tänk på det om ni ska åka kring rusningstrafik). På det hela taget var det bra tyckte vi, kan klart rekommendera det. Mycket prisvärt

- Søren Møller (10/5): Skøn familielejlighed - Mr og mrs Ganesh er skønne værter. Stedet er dog lidt svært at finde og mangler et skilt på metalporten. De bor i stuen men lejer etagerne over ud. Det ligger 3-4 km syd for centrum og ikke nær en god strand.

- Alejandro (8/5): Not great, but good enough. - The apartment we rented was roomy and had 2 bedrooms, and the staff were extra nice and greeted us with yummy coconut milk. I stayed in the auxiliary room (not the master bedroom) which smelled moldy (the walls were actually full of mold) and didn't have any window shades. Colombo is very humid, so it's possible that mold is a common problem throughout the city. The lack of window shades was a problem because the light coming through the window after sunrise makes it hard to sleep. On a positive note, the apartment was very well equipped, with good wifi and A/C. The surrounding neighborhood is quite dodgy, although we didn't have any issues walking around late at night. I would probably look for a different place if I'm ever back in Colombo, but given that we booked at the last minute and needed accommodation for 3 people, the bottom line is that we were satisfied with what we got.
