- Nov3nika (10/5): Village Cave Suite Hotel - Gorem best location. Loved having my coffee in the . I also loved the look of the facade view - HI, I've been in a cave hotel in Matera Italy. This one you can not compare is a magic place every morning you wake up. A good location a fantastic view the owner Onur will do anything he can you to feel comfortable and well come. I was impressed with their service 'no need to go into details' one thing i can say you feel home. The Air Balloons booking was done in advance by him and assured I have my reserved day. The hotel location is in the centre city of Gorem where by walking you can walk either for a gelato or a snack or just wondering around and look to those big huge mushrooms, something rarely to see unique places. My trip was to locate a good cave hotel which I did and the Air Balloons trip which successfully accomplished. I feel very lucky to able to do this trip.

- camilla2809 (10/5): Best stay in Capadoccia - Fantastic stay! We stayed there as a girls trip and we wanted to visit Capadoccia to see the hot air balloons. The staff is so helpful and wonderful! The bedroom is wonderful and I highly recommend the hotel! Breakfast was also delicious and I highly recommend the Turkish coffee of Aytep. It was the best Turkish coffee I ever had !!!!

Could watch the balloons every morning right from our front porch, or if you want a short 5-10 minute walk uphill to sunset point. Would highly recommend this place. A true cave hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff.
- NA181920 (10/5): Valued for money and close to city centre with breathtaking sunset view! - We stayed here for 4 days 3 nights and had a cosy and welcoming stay throughout. The room is spacious and it feels cooling even in the summer. The perks of staying in a cave hotel. The bed has the right firmness for me and comfortable bedding. Every night was a good night rest for me. Communication with Mr Onur via WhatsApp was a breeze. It was easy to arrange airport transfer and it costs 360 TL per way for each person. The pickup service was a shared service with others from different hotels which are mostly close by. The hotel is on an elevated hill which offers a spectacular view of the major streets in Goreme. The highlight of the hotel is definitely the different levels and types of outdoor seatings in the terrace to take in the breathtaking view. On a side note, the toilet bowl was lacking water and ants were found building nest in the lavatory. Which the hotel was informed and I believe they will take further actions to resolve it. Not forgetting the breakfast selection is decent and flavorful. The hotel is quite close to the city centre, approximately 5 minutes downhill walk. In all, the hotel is valued for money and a relaxing stay.

- AsiaFanCalifornia (6/5): Wonderful Views - If you plan to photograph the balloons this hotel is perfectly located. The exterior walls of the structure are covered with terraces which offer outstanding views. The balloons are front-lit from this side of the valley, showing their best color and they seem to drift right over your room. It's an easy walk to many good restaurants. Unfortunately the staff seemed unable to fix the faulty WiFi or to remember to ask the owner to reset the router. However, the thoughtful hotel owner provided “taxi service” to a second hotel in Goreme . (Local taxis don’t drive around town. 🤷♀️ )

The views are incredible and the location is right by the city center, shops, restaurants and more. It is a REAL cave hotel and has many terraces to view the balloons in the morning. It does not get crowded! It was so easy to communicate with the hotel prior to my arrival and they helped me book my balloon flight, which was the best! The owner Onur offered incredible hospitality along with Hakan, they were always attentive and ready to help with anything I needed. Look no further and book your stay!! I cant wait to be back!

- franckbP9441SD (10/5): Wonderful experience in Göreme. - We had an oustanding 5-day stay at Village Cave House. This true family hotel located just below Sunset View hill boasts amazing rooms carved in the rocks with access to terraces overlooking Göreme. Owner Onur went out of his way to help us secure a balloon flight during our stay despite a weather-related cancellation on our scheduled date. He also gave us plenty of tips and explanations and what to do and see, as Cappadocia has a lot to offer beyond the main touristic points, like Soganli valley, Gümüsler monastery or Açik Saray in Gülsehir. Coming back at this hotel after a day of discoveries had a homy feeling that is worth a lot!
- Penny0705 (8/5): A Cave With A View - This was a very unique hotel that blended with the history of the area. The staff were very hard working, friendly and helpful. There is no elevator so luggage has to be carried up to the rooms. The bed was not a modern bed. Our bathroom had a shower only, no tub. Breakfast was included but no cook to order hot food. This hotel had the very best views of the town, the hot air balloons that pass by in the morning, and sunset. We could see the town from the balcony of our room. It was a wonderful experience staying here!

An ideal location ten minutes from the center and just as many from one of the panoramic views. Pleasant and very helpful staff. Even though the balloon flights were canceled due to weather conditions, they immediately responded to our request and booked us on a flight to another location (1 hour from Goreme). At the last minute, we asked to go on the red tour, to which Onur immediately responded and booked us places. When we asked for a rent a car, we had a vehicle available in 15 minutes. I fully recommend it to anyone looking for authentic rooms, beautiful views and very helpful staff.

The service was great too. We were able to book our airport transportation through the hotel and our balloon ride. Highly recommend!

They never acknowledged my messages and did not provide any transportation. The hotel claims to have a restaurant, which is false: there is no restaurant or bar on the premises. The room had no closet, just two hangers on the wall, and no proper lights. Breakfast was rather poor. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

The guy who checked us in made us a reservation at a wonderful restaurant just down the hill. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Lots of steep stairs but the view from our room was great!

- Habib (10/5): First time in Cappadocia - We booked the village cave house for our stay in cappadoccia for two days and it was the most amazing experience ever - when we arrived from our airport we were greeted by Tahir who helped us with everything that we needed for our stay- and made sure we were comfortable. Over all the hotel has a comfortable dreamlike atmosphere - from the cave rooms to the veranda for breakfast. We were very pleased with our stay here and would definetly recommend it.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - My boyfriend and I had an amazing, once in a lifetime experience at the Village Cave House Hotel! It is a such beautiful, ideally located, family-owned (including an adorable puppy!) property with everything you could ask for. Our room had a fantastic soaker jacuzzi tub that served us very well after the sunset horseback ride that we were able to book through reception. We were also able to book and attend a traditional Whirling Dervish show, which was well worth it. The included breakfast was the same every day, but I quite enjoyed all the cheeses, fruits, and little pastries, as well as the lovely Turkish tea that was offered. The hotel is located right below the panoramic viewpoint of Goreme, meaning that simply walking out onto our room's terrace gave us the best views of the city, including the magical daily sunrise hot air balloon flights. The owner's father doesn't speak much English, but he was kind enough to drive us past the panoramic viewpoint to a vineyard that he manages, where we got even better views of the surrounding rock formations, as well as some tidbits of information on the area! One night, he also invited us for some delicious locally made wine, which we enjoyed while chatting about all the different artifacts that they have in the hotel, including two 200-year old muskets! I think it was these extra little touches that made our stay so incredibly impactful. We highly recommend the hotel and would love to return in the future!

- Wing (10/5): unique cave hotel - We had a good time staying in village cave house hotel. The hotel has a very good atmosphere and nice environment. The room is very spacious and clean. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Overall, we enjoy our stay and would definitely come back if we visit Cappadocia again.

- Didzis (10/5): - We had a great experience staying in the Cave House Hotel. The room was comfortable, location was very close to the center and staff very super friendly and helpful. For the cave room, it literally is a cave, thus with a small window expect to have a very little daylight. Nevertheless, seating on the terrace offers all the daylight and a great view over the city. While the breakfast was overall good, hot food wasn't served in a heat preserving setting, thus got cold very quickly. Overall, recommend this hotel for a stay.
- Vilma (10/5): Better then expected!!! - This hotel is well situated in Goreme town and is a couple meters walk from restaurants, tour agencies and shops. It is a real cave hotel and it makes the stay there very exciting. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpfull. They even let me to check in a lot earlier then I was supposed to and gave me breakfast. The receptionist kindly helped me to arrange a day tour around Cappadocia. My stay in this hotel was even better then i expected and I am really looking forward to come back there again!!!
- Kuriakose (8/5): Really nice cave hotel! - Really enjoyed our stay here. Staff was very helpful with things like getting a shuttle to/from airport and recommendations for local things to do.
