Guest Reviews
- m (10/5): Perfect for me - Perfect for me. Great little place . Definitely be staying again
- jemma (8/5): - Lovely place to stay convenient for the dance competition we were attending. It was cheap and cheerful
- Verified traveler (8/5): Cheap & cheerful - Accommodation was very basic & a bit outdated ie carpet / furnishings
But was clean
- C (8/5): Great location and great host! - We were there for Rebellion and the hotel is in the perfect location, just 5 minute walk to the Wintergardens venue. Gail was lovely and made us feel very welcome and made sure we had a big cooked breakfast every morning. As the parking outside is free but only for 1 hour, Gail said to park in a hotel just around the corner and they gave us a discount when we said she had sent us - we paid £30 for Weds to Monday and happy with that as it's a safe car park with CCTV. For what we paid and for what we needed this hotel ticked all the boxes and will be booking again next year if we go again.
- Susan (2/5): - Run down, needed a full refurb, it was clean but wont be staying there again,
- Alex (10/5): Brilliant cheap little stay - Booked 2 nights as a last minute trip. Got a decent cheap room here at The Lanes.
Gail, the owner, is lovely. She messaged the day before to confirm my arrival, had my room ready a bit earlier. Very quick check-in process. Decent room for its price, comfortable bed. Tea and coffee stuff, en suite and located only a 5 minute walk from Coral Island, the beachfront and Tower tram stop. Paid £80 for 2 nights December 2021.
Nothing really to complain about. Obviously it's not the Ritz, but it's lovely and cosy.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Terrible - There was no free parking available, the Landlady was never available. Tea making facilities was only sufficient for one day. Breakfast and bar was non existant.
No housekeeping, just a bed and shower.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Hotels.com states this hotel has free parking there isn't found a secure car park near by that wasn't expensive
- Lee (8/5): - Excellent stay!
- Matthew (10/5): Blackpool stay - Standard size room but didn't bother me as we were only in the room to sleep. The owner Gail was a lovely lady who would go out of her way for you. She said i didn't need to rush out of the room on the day we were leaving as she had nobody going into the room would have stayed longer in the room but was booked on the train home.
- Swaddell (8/5): - There was a warm welcome when we arrived and a small mix up with room only and breakfast inclusive but was sorted promptly by our host and was given keys early as hotel was quiet we had a small breakfast as what we asked for close to all our needs in Blackpool hotel is ok for what we needed thank you
- CAROLE (10/5): - I arrived early and asked if i could place my luggage inside with having a bad back. The lady was very obliging and I was also upgraded to an ensuite .The bed was very comfortable and the shower was hot.
The breakfast was the best I had tasted in all the b and b's I had visited over the years and I would definitely book again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Ok for one or two nights. - I was on the top floor with just a sink in my room, the light in the toilet on the floor didn't work, and if I had wanted a shower I'd have to go hunting on a totally different floor.
The WiFi didn't work as it came up with the 'connected no WiFi ' message.
The owner is very friendly and breakfast was lovely but a lot of common areas were cold ,and the radiator in my room wasn't on despite it being a cold period.
I just felt that other hotels offer more for about the same money.I came away feeling like a good shower as I'd lived in a sink three days.
- Andy (8/5): Excellent value - Great location friendly staff good breakfast
- Elkiana (8/5): Close to everything - I was very happy because the hotel was not expensive, 5 min from the tower, sea and loads of shops, the owner is very friendly and helpful. my only “problem” was parking the car.
- Andy (10/5): - Been before verygood
- martin (6/5): Not so nice hotel close to the beach - It smelt like some one had bin living in the Rome fore a long time with out cleaning carpet curtains stank I Needed to Freebreeze it
- Verified traveler (2/5): Fawlty towers - Words fail me to describe this hotel - my recommendation is to just stay away if you have expectations on cleanliness and health and safety
- Andy (8/5): Recommended - Great location right in town, friendly hosts and good breakfast :)
- frankie (10/5): Excellent owner and excellent food. - Absolutely fantastic thankyou.
