• Denny (10/5): Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt im schönen Stonehaven - Paul war ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber! Man fühlt sich sofort wohl, sobald man angekommen ist. Die Lage ist phänomenal im wunderschönen Hafen von Stonehaven. Sehr schöne Restaurants in der Nähe. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden und bis zum Dunnottar Castle ist es nicht weit entfernt. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls klasse!!! Alles super!

The rooms were very clean and the showers had good pressure and were hot. We have nothing negative to say about this property.
• Jürgen (8/5): Der Aufenthalt war prima, gerne wieder - Die Lage ist hervorragend, man geht quasi zur Tür raus und ist sofort am Hafenbecken. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Im Gegensatz zu einigen anderen vergleichbaren Unterkünften muss man hier jedoch ein wenig aktiver sein beim Frühstück und sich die Zutaten selber in der Küche Zusammensuchen, um sie dann im Speiseraum zu verzieren. Aber damit kann man leben. Es hat uns alles prima gefallen wir würden die Unterkunft empfehlen und auch wiederkommen

• Murcho (10/5): It's a unique, picturesque place to stay, with bars and restaurants (Inc. Ship In) in the street. - It was the perfect B&B even though we weren't expecting breakfast. We thought we were staying at a holiday home, but Paul was on site, and supplied everything you would want for a continental breakfast, and asked us for anything extra we desired, and would pick it up during the day. The only thing I can think of is, it would be good to have a bar fridge in your room, even though you have all the fridge space you need in the kitchen on the second floor.

We didn’t want to leave! - We chose to stay in the area of Stonehaven mainly to visit the Dunnottar Castle, which was amazing, but we experienced much more than that during our stay here. Shorehead Guesthouse is beautiful and in a fantastic location, right on the little harbour. Our host, Paul is friendly and offered suggestions for dining and adventures in the area. The breakfast was great, we helped ourselves to an array of quality food and beverages and Paul was on hand for anything we required. The view from the dining/living room was stunning.

• Scott (9/5): Stunning in Stonehaven - Location was superb, it was a well appointed room with a very comfortable bed, breakfast was lovely as was the host.
• Elanor (10/5): Warm and welcoming home right by the water. - Shorehead guesthouse is in a stunning location in Stonehaven right across from the bay and next to at several restaurant/pubs and the trailhead to Dunnottar Castle. Our room and en suite bathroom were very clean and comfortable, but the most notable feature here was the full living room/breakfast room and the extensive help yourself breakfast complete with bakery bread and French press. Paul, our host, was on-site and extremely accomodating and helpful. Honestly I can't think of any drawbacks except that I wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful lounge with great views over the marina. While the included breakfast was "only" continental, it was more than satisfactory. Wish we could have stayed in the town an extra couple of days! A bit limited for restaurants an easy walk away but we had a fantastic dinner 2 minute walk away at the Tolbooth.

• Giulia (8/5): È stato un soggiorno piacevole, Stonehaven è un paesino portuale molto caratteristico - Tutto, l'host gentilissimo e disponibile. Mette anche a disposizione il locale cucina per prepararsi i pasti e la colazione. Il frigo è super fornito!! Le stanze sono un po'piccoline, ma la struttura è una guest house quindi immagino non sia così facile migliorare questo aspetto. In ogni caso per un soggiorno di qualche notte va benissimo!

• Michaela (10/5): Skvělé ubytování v přístavu - Skvělý podkrovní pokoj s výhledem na přístav v krásném kamenném domě přímo v přístavu. Celý dům i pokoj byly velmi čisté a vkusně zařízené. Postele byly pohodlné, dobře se v nich spalo. Koupelna sice maličká, to je dáno dispozicí podkroví, ale dostačující. Huňaté, měkké ručníky a osušky. Ocenili jsme příjemný a pohodlný obývací pokoj s krbem a jídelnou, který je společný pro všechny hosty v domě. Ráno snídaně připomínala domov, neboť jsme si mohli v kuchyni vzít k jídlu, co jsme našli a na co jsme měli chuť, všeho bylo dost. Výborný chleba s křupavou kůrkou. V neposlední řadě musím vyzdvihnout osobnost majitele Paula, který je skvělý, starostlivý a díky němu jsme se zde cítili výborně. Parkování hned před domem na nábřeží zdarma nebyl problém. Několik skvělých restaurací je pár metrů od domu. Výchozí bod pro procházku k hradu Dunnottar. Modrá obloha a jasné slunce byly bonus na závěr.

• Stephanie (10/5): - Die Lage war perfekt und das Guesthouse total einladend und sauber. Unser Zimmer war riesig und hatte eine grandiose Aussicht auf den Hafen! Wir wurden von Paul super herzlich empfangen und er hat uns immer wieder Tips für Ausflüge gegeben.

Vi hadde en reise på natten før vi kom til stonehaven hvor vi så og si ikke hadde sovet, så værten jobbet så raskt han kunne for å få rommet vårt raskt ferdig. Vi fikk dessuten tilbud om å bytte til et ledig rom slik at vi kunne hvile oss. Det kaller jeg service! Ingen ting!

• Filippo S (9/5): - Guest House molto carina con una fantastica posizione sul porto di Stonehaven. Comoda per visitare la città o per andare a piedi al castello di Dunnottar. Camera piccola ma molto graziosa e curata. Parcheggio per l'auto comodo di fronte alla struttura sulla strada, dove non si deve pagare. Essendo una guest house c'è una bella cucina a disposizione fornita di tutto il necessario per prepararsi da soli una bella colazione. Latte, té, caffè, succo di frutta, pane tostato, burro, marmellata, biscotti, formaggi e prosciutto ecc. Molto carina la sala dove fare colazione o rilassarsi alla sera.

Ich muss mich glutenfrei ernähren, Paul war dabei sehr zuvorkommend Brot zu organisieren. Vielen Dank dafür! --

• Carola (9/5): - Direkt am kleinen urigen Hafen, wir hatten Zimmer mit Blick auf's Wasser, Ankunftsbier und Morgenkaffee draußen genossen, einfach nur schön. Das ist Urlaub. Parkplatz vor dem Haus. Freundlicher Gastgeber. Die Variante, sich das (kontinental) Frühstück selber zusammenzustellen, war mal eine neue Erfahrung, d.h. man konnte sich in der Küche bzw am Kühlschrank bedienen. Jeder nimmt nur das, was er braucht, ergibt keinen Abfall. Perfekt. Kein extra Personal notwendig. Genügend Restaurants sind auch vorhanden. Ggf sollte man rechtzeitig einen Tisch reservieren.
