Guest Reviews
- Gareth (8/5): - The location was just what we were looking for : isolated but close enough to a lovely town (Llandovery)
- Sean (7/5): -
- Waqarun (9/5): We had a lovely stay here and relaxed which is just what we wanted. The games room was ideal for our teenagers and kept - Beautiful location with amazing views - peaceful and quiet as remote location We did have to drive quite far for tourist attractions but we also loved the remoteness of the cottage
- David (10/5): Perfect place for a digital detox; peaceful and charming. - The peace and quiet.
Stunning vistas.
- Harriet (8/5): Beautiful house with stunning views - The property was roomy and clean. The location was fantastic, breathtaking views to be seen. So quiet and peaceful. The nearest town was only about 10 mins away for when you needed some supplies or fancied having a wander around. There is plenty to do within the area also. The host was friendly and extremely accommodating. Thank you The only thing would be the WiFi, it didn’t seem to work, had to connect the tv to our phones 4g signal.

- Kristen (10/5): Amazing place to stay well recommended - Loved it as it was in the middle of nowhere quiet and peaceful had lovely views Nothing all perfect
- Michael (8/5): A lovely holiday in a beautiful part of Wales. - Location was great, property was comfortable and clean. Games room was good. We had a great holiday. No problems really.

- Aditya (10/5): Warm, cosy and rustic dwelling nestled in the rolling hills of a private farm land with lovely walks - The remoteness and tranquility of the location made for excellent walks and experience. Cottage itself was cosy and rustic while having all modern amenities.
The views all around were spectacular. We did not see any one during our stay or on our walks. We loved our stay. The creaky floorboards and thin walls added to the rustic experience of a cottage in the hills.
- Natalie (10/5): Exceptional - Very cosy. Great amenities. Spacious and great location
- Elsie (10/5): Exceptional - Well equipped comfortable pretty cottage in very beautiful location. Perfect week. Was sad to leave Nothing was spot on
- Darren (9/5): Superb - Extremely quiet . Ideal to relax and get away from the usual busy day to day life .
The owner was Extremely helpful and I couldn't of asked for more . Will definitely be booking again
- Agnes (9/5): Superb - Lovely, peaceful surroundings, exactly what we wanted. The cottage was warm and cozy with beautiful views.
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hadia (10/5): We loved every minute of our stay - Everything! Nothing - it was perfect for a family
- Zaher (8/5): Very good -
- Manish (9/5): Perfect getaway - We were here towards the end of June as a group of friends, taking a break from work and home. The cottages were very comfortable with lots of comfy seating. The kitchens were very spacious and well ventilated, with a lot of natural light through the windows. Both the kitchens had dishwashers, which was excellent. All the furniture was great without anything getting in the way. The games room is a nice touch and especially useful on rainy days. At the property, there's good 4G coverage from EE, apart from the lower rooms in High Barn. We were able to stream a whole T20 cricket match. There are plenty of bathrooms, which is extremely useful. The tap water was excellent, almost as good as Plymouth, if not better.
The host was kind and friendly.
Will definitely return, probably in winter, the next time.
- Kez (10/5): Exceptional -

- Silviu (10/5): Great location, great scenery, great accommodations, great host, great pretty much everything… -
- Maud (8/5): Very good -
- Hazel (9/5): Superb -
- Ian (8/5): The premises was comfortable and well-equipped - Spacious with lovely views Distance from main road along single track road (our own fault for not checking before hand). Could do with hand rails to assist in getting in and out of the bath/shower. No Wi-fi.
- John (8/5): Perfect place to chill out - Did our own breakfast but had to buy a frying pan which was disappointing Wi fi
- Rob (10/5): Fantastic - A wonderful location and clean and tidy accommodation which is very well presented. Highly recommended! N/A
- Teresa (10/5): Exceptional - Peice and quite lived every minute will return excellent break views are stunning
- James (9/5): Very peaceful break in superb countryside - superb position; comfortable well equipped cottage. Spring tranquility.
- Christopher (8/5): a good place to centre your stay in South wales - location was great loved the views. there were lots of flies and I mean lots of them 30 plus in the main bedroom every day more. the frying pan was very dangerous as it the handle just allows the pan to spin freely leading to hot food falling on the floor and being ruined.

- Angela (10/5): Ideal base for a peaceful getaway - Merlin barn was amazing!! Middle of nowhere, so peaceful and views to die for. We stayed with our 3 children who loved seeing the chickens pecking about every morning and had lots of fun in the games room. Everything was clean and all the facilities you would need. Beds were comfy and the barn was very cosy. Not too far from brecon beacons and plenty to explore there. Very tranquil, peaceful place for a relaxing getaway. Nothing negative to report at all
- Noreen (8/5): Beautiful place - Beautiful views of wales lovely secluded spot. Nothing host was very helpful Cottage was great.
- Rafiul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Octavia (9/5): Superb -
- Shilpi (9/5): Superb -
- Jeremy (10/5): Lovely remote cottage - Lovely remote cottage in beautiful countryside. David was very helpfull with walks and a late checkout!
- Fabrice (10/5): Lovely place in the heart of Wales - Only negative point was the WiFi not usable... that actually turned out to be a positive point as well as this how holidays are supposed to be. But can be hard for most people I guess.
- Richard (8/5): Wonderful, peaceful countryside location. - We stayed in the High Barn and the location and condition of the accommodation was wonderful. The only disappointing element was that the wi-fi was not working but in hindsight this was not even that bad as it enabled a real escape and full relaxation. The town of LLandovery had all amenities needed and was only 15 minutes away. With young children the games room was a fantastic added benefit and the pool table was even level!!
