• Marco (4/5): Besser gleich bis in die Keys runter fahren - Schöner Pool Die Unterkunft hat zu viel der Kreditkarte belastet. Es ist ein einfaches Motel, kein Hotel oder gar ein Resort. Es hat nicht mal eine Reception. Zu wenig Badetücher erhalten. Es hätte auch zu wenig Besteck falls es benötigt würde. Niemand reagiert auf Anfragen. Der Meereszugang ist eine Baustelle, nicht schön.

• Sorri (10/5): Amazing! - We stayed in room 19 which was its own upstairs room. It was beautiful with its own porch overlooking the beach, pool and ocean. The room was big and the separate bedroom with a very comfortable king bed was amazing! We loved the French doors that opened up to the ocean to get that fresh ocean air. We drove through the keys from Miami and this was our favorite spot. Very quiet and you could rent a boat next store. The only thing that I could complain about is the strong smell from the seaweed. We thought it was a bad gas leak somewhere.

Its close to the highway for convenience but far enough away that we didn't hear any traffic. the out of hours check in procedure was so easy, we got an email with check in details and how to get into the rrom. The view was exceptional.

I arrived after hours and my key was not in the pickup box as indicated in the email. Had to call the after hours line (no one picked up) Knocked in the door till someone answered finally. • Holly (9/5): This is a pleasant little place and I would probably book it again. - The property is in a great location and has cute little rooms that were clean. There’s a cute little beach-y area and places to sit and relax around the property. There are several restaurants/bars within a short walk. We checked in and out outside of office hours without any problem. The dryer wasn’t working while we were there so we weren’t able to dry any of our wet clothes/towels. Also our smoke detector’s battery alarm went off the second evening and they came in and just removed it rather than replacing the battery.

• Scott (7/5): - The room was clean and the accommodations were visually great! When we booked, our search was for somewhere in Islamorada with a king bed and a hot tub. Booking.com listed Sands of Islamorada with both. Unfortunately, the hot tub apparently was destroyed in a hurricane in 2021 and nobody bothered to update the listing on ANY booking site.

• Jacquelynn (1/5): Disappointed in service - The room pictured and listed in my reservation was not the one that I was placed in. I requested help with this at resort and no one was able to help me. I asked to be escalated to management, and no one can be bothered to get back with me. I booked the room solely based on the fact that it had a private balcony and was placed in a room with a shared front porch. Resort seemed nice but customer service was absolutely terrible.

I did not like at all the fact that the room was super hot the mini A/C splits that they have in the rooms is not enough to get the room to a cool temperature. Not even the ceiling fan was good , I had to sleep without covers and even then was hot throughout the night. Apart from the mosquitoes who devoured our skin.

When I questioned it, manager was not very nice. Manager not on site. Staff who spoke limited English were on property but they had to phone an actual manager. Room was nice but had no chair and bathroom didn’t even have a shelf to put toothbrush or shaving stuff on. Awkward. AC did not work properly. Lots of rules with the threats of extra charges. Overprice for what the property offers.

This was not referred to in advance and not mentioned on booking.com. It was quite expensive anyway for one night. The notes for guests were abrupt in tone, bordering on aggressive; e.g. numerous possible additional charges which seemed excessive considering the main cost.
