• Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing location & super friendly owner - We stayed here for 8 nights and loved it. It's run by an awesome family who lives there so reminded me almost more of a guesthouse than a hotel. We booked a triple room which on the website showed windows and a balcony but when we arrived they only had a triple room with no windows or balcony available. This was disappointing but there is a rooftop upstairs with some pretty awesome 360 views that we made the most of, and they were happy to move us into the balcony room as soon as it became available which was just a couple nights later. The triple room with the balcony is amazing, it's a huge balcony with table and chairs so great for bringing meals back to enjoy in private overlooking the main plaza. The location is amazing, 2 min walk to the main Beach and about 10 to los muertos. This does mean that it's loud at night so if you're looking for a quiet place you may not want to stay close to the plaza as there's a lot going on there at night, the noise wasn't the hotels fault it's simply the location. We found with earplugs we slept fine and it was worth it for us to be this close to everything. Overall it was a great stay and I would highly recommend this place to anybody who isn't looking for luxury and wants to be right in the center of town.

• Erin (8/5): Great location for nightlife. Friendly staff - Amazing location to the town square. Little noisy but didn’t bother us. No shampoo in bathroom nor towels. We just used our own. No elevators , stairs were tough with our bags. Staff very very friendly.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Nice Hotel - Center of Downtown and Beach - We enjoyed 4 nights stay. Everything was withing walking distance. There was a festival when we arrived. We could see the downtown center from the roof top. Our hotel room faced the interior therefore it was quiet for sleeping. We enjoyed sitting in the center park across the street.

• pedro (8/5): Don Miguel Plaza - 1. la ubicacion es excelente pues se encuentra en el centro del poblado con todos los servicios 2. el aseo de las habitaciones deja mucho que desear. 3. algunas habitaciones no cuentan con iluminacion y ventilacion naturales pues dan hacia los pasillos 4. en terminos generales es muy factible hacerlo mas comodo con alguna remodelacion que faciite circulaciones y ventilaciones directas

• ivan de jesus (2/5): muy mala atencion - la verdad, es primera vez que me hospedo en este hotel, pense que seria diferente, para empezar tube que llamar por telefono al encargado porque nadie esta en puerta. me dieron la habitacion la cual no contaba ni con TV al siguiente dia de llegar al hotel nos querian sacar porque ellos no tenian registrado que durariamos varios dias, al terminar la estancia tubimos que buscar una persona del hotel para entregar la habitacion.

Also people will be cautious about the the long hallway to get to your room looks are very deceiving. Once inside the patios to all 3 floors very nice. Only hope are more friendly and professional looking.

• ROBERTO (2/5): EL PEOR HOTEL DE SAYULITA/ THE WORST HOTEL - Hicimos la reservación con mas de 3 meses de anticipación y al momento nos cobraron todo. Hablamos una semana antes para confirmar y nunca te respondían, tienen el peor trato, el hotel esta horrible y el encargado es nefasto y grosero. Nos cancelaron la reservación y lo unció que quería hacer era devolvernos el dinero arruinando nuestro viaje. La verdad yo pensaría dos veces antes de reservar en esto que dice llamarse Hotel. SI QUIEREN PASAR UNAS VACACIONES AGRADABLES, NUNCA SE QUEDEN EN ESTE HOTEL./ We made the reservation 3 months before our arrive, at the time we were charged everything. We spoke a week before to confirm and they never responded, they have the worst deal, the hotel is horrible and the manager is terrible and rude. The hotel canceled our reservation and they wanted to do a refund of the money ruining our trip. The truth is I would think twice before booking in this Hotel. IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A NICE HOLIDAY, NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

• bob (2/5): Absolute worst hotel ever - The taxi driver and I had to carry my luggage Up 3 flights of stairs. The room was filthy with dust and cobwebs everywhere. There was a 4 inch crack in the door that anyone could look through. I had an almost sleepless night due to the hard bed and Noise. There was a restaurant just below and all the cooking orders came right into my room. I requested an early checkout expressing my extreme dissatisfaction but was unable to ever contact anyone from the hotel with the exception of the maid who said she could not help and could not get in touch with anyone who could. I left anyway and am disputing the charges with my credit card company. I would not even want my dog to stay here

• Diane (6/5): Convenient and clean hotel. - The Don Miguel Hotel is located just off of the main town square in Sayulita. It must have been a very beautiful hotel at one time. It is now very plain, no amenities Hotel; however, our room was always very clean. The price was perfect for a quick get away, the location is a bit noisy at night; but, you can always use ear plugs , or go with the sounds and let them lull you to sleep. the staff is very friendly; and, so willing to try to accommodate. We would stay here again, just because our room was clean and convenient.

Two blocks from the beach. Bed Is mattress on frame & VERY hard.........So if you like some softness in a mattress, go elsewhere to get a good night's rest.

• Mike & Alex (6/5): Quick stop - We only stayed 1 night. It was pleasant enough for the price even though there is an extra charge for Air Con. But overall it was clean so no complaints. Proper small town Mexico with cobbled streets and a bit of a surfers town. Plenty of places to eat and drink and a nice enough beach. A point to note google maps is slightly wrong as its further up the road and a bit difficult to find....as you look st the map it is more to the left. Just off the main square.
