- Dr Samantha (10/5): Awesome stay beautiful beach and sunshine and great customer service - Awesome Stay All perfect Everything close to the beach beautiful stay great service and cleanliness with Thanks
To Wilson and the entire team you guys are the best
- Natasha (1/5): Unsatisfied - The location The check-in process was unnecessarily time-consuming due to the setup requiring guests to report to a separate location rather than the facility they were booked in. This caused congestion, with multiple guests attempting to check in simultaneously for different properties. Additionally, the unit itself was not clean—there were visible black stains on the sheets, and the air conditioning was not functioning during our stay.

- Tracy (7/5): Enjoyed our stay and would book again. - We found the rooms quiet and very clean.
Breakfast was nice .
Close to the beach where there were many restaurants and shops.
Walking distance to water taxi in the canal system.
20 minutes from the airport The only negative thing we have to say is when we arrived , we had trouble finding the main desk to check in/check out.
It was not at the building we were staying in since It’s a big complex of many buildings.
There are at least 23 buildings with different names.
You need to check in at:
Hollywood Beach hotels

- Balbuena-obi (7/5): We Made It Work At Hollywood Beach Hotels - Proximity to the beach. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable and beautifully made. Big screen television. Nice shower and enough room to dance. Room was quite big. Nice staff. I asked for towels in writing and at the location. Towels were not delivered. The lady who cooks the breakfast finally gave me the towels. Chairs in the room are a torture from medieval times. There is not a couch. There are no utensils, hand towels or paper towels. There is an itemized bill for thieves. Construction is modern but the furniture is old. The properly next door had people singing, playing dominoes and drinking really late. FYI is their property TOO!
- Anaria (10/5): - 5 stars
- Dr Samantha (10/5): - Amazing Stay Wilson is Top in customer service he went above & beyond Thank you I recommend it breat location beautiful views and top attractions all around
- Dr Samantha (10/5): - Great Stay Goregous beach & Top customer service by Wilson who was amazing as usual took care of my concerns and made my stay the best fun - I recommend staying here for both vacation and conferences etc
- JOSE (10/5): - The lady who serves breakfast is not prepared to serve customers, she has a very bad temper.
- Ailin (10/5): - It is very enjoyable to stay a casa pellegrino was a placer .
- Stefano (10/5): Great and Quaint hotel - Rooms and Hotel recently renovated with an Italian villa vibe. I totally loved it.
Short walk to the beach and close to restaurants and the Hollywood Boardwalk action. I had an issue with the hed being a little soft....I'm sed to having a hard bed, so I woke up with a sore lower back..
- Maria (2/5): Very poor - Never could find the pool. I was under the impression the pool was at the hotel not at one of many hotels handled by this company. Breakfast was horrible
- Le-Anne (10/5): - From the outside the building looks a bit rough but once you are inside the court it is quite cute. Rooms are modest but decent enough. Could use glasses fir drinking, hand towels and kleenex. We were a bit late for breakfast so there wadnt much to chose from but thats our fault. We were early fir check in but they accommodated us. Would stay there again
- raulg542 (6/5): Review of Casa Pellegrino Hotel – A Disappointing Stay with Lots of Untapped Potential - Review of Casa Pellegrino Hotel – A Disappointing Stay with Lots of Untapped Potential
Casa Pellegrino looks like it was once a charming and welcoming place to stay, but unfortunately, a clear lack of maintenance and attention to detail is keeping it from living up to its potential—or to its four-star rating.
We stayed this past weekend, Friday through Sunday, in room #2008. The biggest issue we experienced was the incredibly noisy portable A/C unit in the room. It was so loud that sleeping was nearly impossible—at times, it felt like having a Harley Davidson running indoors. The noise was especially disruptive at night when everything else was quiet. From the way the exhaust is mounted, it’s clear management has no intention of repairing or replacing the original mini split system, which is disappointing and, frankly, unacceptable at this price point.
If it hadn’t been for the sleepless nights, I might not have felt the need to mention the other issues—but combined, they paint a bigger picture:
• The grout in the bathroom is in need of a thorough deep cleaning.
• The shower lacked any kind of shelf for toiletries. You can see the marks where one used to be, but it was never replaced—a simple, inexpensive fix that makes a big difference.
• Right outside our rooms (#2007 & #2008), there was a table and barstools that were covered in dust. I politely asked a housekeeper if she could wipe them down; she agreed, but when we returned several hours later, they were still untouched.
• The outdoor shower spigot for rinsing sand off feet was locked. Only the upper showerhead was functional, and the water pressure was too weak to effectively rinse anything off. Keeping the lower spigot accessible would help both guests and housekeeping by reducing the amount of sand tracked into rooms.
As someone in the property management business myself, I can say that what this hotel needs most is a better eye for the basics—cleanliness, upkeep, and customer comfort. These details matter and directly impact the guest experience.
Lastly, the continental breakfast was underwhelming. The options were limited, the coffee was lukewarm, and the orange juice tasted more like Tang. Even worse, breakfast ended at 9:15 a.m.—on a weekend. Most people on vacation don’t want to set an alarm just to get a pastry and lukewarm coffee. Also, sharing the breakfast area with guests from other affiliated properties made the space feel crowded and impersonal.
I share this feedback as constructive criticism, with the hope that the owners and management take it seriously. This property does have potential, but it needs care, investment, and a real commitment to the guest experience to get back to where it clearly once was.
- Starr (1/5): Cut short I only stayed one night do to the bug bites. And didn’t get refunded - Next to the beach The room was nasty. I woke up with bites all over my body and itching. Breakfast bar right outside my door.
- sebastian (6/5): - Close to the beach and boardwalk. The room is updated but there was mold aroun the ac unit that blew cpld air too well. The descriptipn
- Diane (3/5): Very disappointing couldn’t wait to leave - Old and worn down difficult to find where to check in and where to park. Not clear there were five or more small hotels that were part of and run by one company.
- FRANCO (10/5): - None
- Sandi (8/5): - The area was super beautiful so we loved having the beach so close yet not the noise of the board walk. We loved having breakfast on the property and parking was super easy as well. Although our room was a small one bedroom, we did not mind as we were walking at the beach exploring the sights. For a couple who wants to explore the area and is not concerned about a big room, this is perfect! We enjoyed our stay in Hollywood Beach.
- Christine (10/5): - Great hotel ! Nice location and delicious breakfast
- Ailin (10/5): - So expence revenge was $173 per night total higher at $199 us .
Plus taxes at hotel . Check this reservation .
- Alana (7/5): Clean room. Good experience - Location of breakfast was good.
Food quality and choice was limited.
I am gluten free and very limited choices.
Also using styrofoam dishes is very inappropriate Pools were quite cold and our TV did not work.
- Juliana (6/5): - One block from the beach! When you check in, they charge about $28 a night for a service fee (on top of the price already paid on Expedia). They also require a $100 refundable deposit. The lobby is in a separate building which was a little confusing to find but luckily they have someone there 24/7 to answer the phone if you have trouble finding it.
- Ailin (10/5): - Was great
- Ailin (10/5): - It is great and nice place to enjoy with families
- Ailin (10/5): - Iit is so great the beach and pool are great .
- Katie (2/5): - This place is TERRIBLE. I can’t believe I spent money to stay here! I’ll break down the review into segments:
Check in/customer service: Prepare to wait 30-60 min in line when checking in, or if you have a question, or something is wrong with your room. There is one office that serves this hotel along with the 4 other Hollywood Beach Hotels. There are 2 people working to check in people from 5 hotels, and spend about 15 minutes on each person checking them in.
Room: DIRTY!! Bugs!! I had to ask my room to be switched because I found a bug on my mattress. While my second room’s mattress was clean-ish, there were drain flies in my room, and in the morning I was greeted by a cockroach on my door. My HVAC wasn’t working in my room, so I had to spend even more time waiting for someone to come fix it.
Safety: As a woman traveling solo, I take notice when things feel unsafe. The doors of this hotel open to a courtyard where “breakfast” takes place in the morning (more on that later). There is a gate to this courtyard that is open all the time, so literally anybody walking by this hotel can come in and hang out in the courtyard right next to our doors. These doors don’t even close or seal completely, you can see daylight through the sides of the door. (Probably how that cockroach got in.)
Breakfast: OMG. The trash stays out all day- the breakfast trash is currently strewn around the courtyard. This breakfast was so disgusting, plastic bowl full of nasty hard boiled eggs.
- Ailin (10/5): - Great get a shelter for sleep .
- Peter (4/5): Rough Stay Next to the Beach for Cheap - The room was a little dirty, it smelled moldy, the bathroom sink was coming off the wall, and the bed was really hard.
- Sabrina (8/5): The good and the bad. - Booked a stay for a short get away to the beach. Best part was the proximity to the beach. Staff was friendly. No problems with parking. Found parking right outfront. However, our room had a portable AC unit that was very loud, I guess wall unit was not working. There was no hot water and when i called the front desk no answer.
- Deanna (6/5): Pleasant -
- john (2/5): - There wasn’t much to like.
- Normil (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jenny (10/5): Exceptional -
- Corinne (7/5): Best part proximity to beach & outdoor patio. - Walkable to beach & boardwalk Needs renovation. Concrete step going & & out of room was broken off, very dangerous! No coffee in room & I was told there was. Everything thing in room was wet from humidity!
Staff very curt & not very friendly.
- Barbara (5/5): We overpaid at $245 a night for a room rated 5 or 6 at best. - Continental breakfast was good. Location was good. We could walk to the beach in just a few minutes. The xterior of the building is vintage and cool. Place is well lit at night and we felt safe. Roof did not leak in heavy rainfall. Cleanliness could have been better. I had to clean gunk off of switch in bathroom. The doors around handles are very dirty. The bathroom has a lingering cigarette smoke smell. The vinyl baseboards need to be repaired. Pillows are uncomfortable. Towels are cheap and thin. There are no table lamps or wall art. Really needs to be updated badly. We spent as little time as possible in the room. We were in #2012. There is no view out the window or the door. Breakfast is served in the room next door. Loud music is turned on at 7:45 AM.
- Isai Antonio (10/5): - I loved
- HEISEL (10/5): - Súper bueno
- Jorge (7/5): Close to the beach id the only big plus! - The nearby to the beach, the parking availability The beds are too old, the TV Channel line up is weird and not friendly, get a good line-up. Too noisy the people that uses the outside sitting spaces. Too expensive the parking. The closet too small, the electric plugs do not match the available counter space. The Microwave care of on leg. The dinning table was not level and no pots or a device to heat water.
- Daniel (2/5): Very poor -
- Amber (8/5): Great location clean and quaint - Location and the quaintness. It was very clean They said park was available in the description. However it was not stated that there was a charge per night. Also I wandered around several minutes in the dark at night looking for the check in. It should have been stated where the check in was before
- Alejandro (6/5): - To much noise
- Donald J (6/5): - There were additional charges for cleaning and early check in that seemed a little unreasonable. The breakfast area and office were a few blocks from my room which made it a little inconvenient
- Diana (1/5): Everything about it sucked and I will not use booking.com again because of it. - Nothing. The place is a DUMP in all caps. If it hadn't been so late when we arrived, I would have turned around and left. It dirty, and shabby. The odor of disinfectant burned your nose and eyes. We actually slept with our clothes on. The charges $19.00 for us to VALET park our own car on the side of the road building. Required a $100 deposit to enter there room to ensure payment, that was refunded at check out the next morning. Neighborhood seemed a little seedy so you couldn't shake feeling ill at ease. TV wouldn't pull in anything to watch, weak signal. Vending machines not loaded.
- Lowrey (7/5): Good -
- Barry (6/5): - They lost my reservation, booked me in a second story room with no elevator, nice room but tv didn’t work, coffee maker with no coffee, available at the store expensive. Beds were nice
- Joe (2/5): - Charged $26 dollars resort fee over Expedia cost nothing in room one towel one toilet paper no Kleenex no heat (temperature 40-60). One small breakfast room for multiple hotels line was long and slow couldn’t get second cup of coffee
- John (5/5): Perfect location, but give people a heads up if your going to charge for parking. - Being charged to park.
The Young lady in the morning not being professional and having at "whatever" attitude. I may have caught her on a bad day.
- Eric (1/5): Bad - Bad Over crowded
- Fitim (4/5): - The boardwalk great,
- Butler (5/5): Passable -
- hilda (8/5): - Finding how to check in???
- Ridley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Santibanez (2/5): Very poor -
- Jacqueline (7/5): Nice motel located on the beach - The rooms are quite large and well equipped for a full stay. The location is spot on. Outside grounds are very unappealing.
- Aleksandr (10/5): Exceptional -
- Francois (1/5): Bad - 100$ deposit so I wasn’t allowed to stay here.
- Lisamarie (5/5): Passable -
- Ulloa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dr Samantha (10/5): - Awesome location great service great team
- Samantha (10/5): - Great Stay Great Staff Great location
- ethyn (10/5): - bussn
- Sven (1/5): Don‘t book this Hotel - save your money - nothing Save your money and don’t book this Hotel!
Check-in only at another Hotel possible
Stuff was fully unmotivated,
poor breakfast only from 8-9am
Located at a loud road
… endless list
- Dmitriy (1/5): Bad - THE ONLY GREAT THING ABOUT THIS HOTEL IS ITS LOCATION!!! THE ROOMS (WE WERE OFFERED 2!) ARE DIRTY!!!! THE FLOORS ARE FILTHY!!!! THE WINDOWS ARE DUSTY!!!! SHOWERS HAVE NO SHELVES FOR SOAP OR SHAMPOO!!! THE STUFF IS RUDE AND ACTING VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!
- Patricia (6/5): - Bed was good
- Steven (8/5): Very good -
- Eljuris (2/5): Very poor - Nothing I booked for Casa Pellegrino Boutiques Hotel, when I arrived they had overbooked the rooms and sent me to another hotel. They should control their reservations.
- Elliff (8/5): Thanksgiving trip - Clean and well maintained. Easy to get to beach Parking, cost to park, noise from streets
