• Douglas (10/5): The best place in Phnom Penh for a men only experience. - The property is elegant, beautifully designed and decorated, an exceedingly comfortable. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The food is great. The beds and pillows are as good as any hotel in the world. The only thing I didn’t like about the hotel was having to leave it.

It is overtly geared towards a male, LGBTQ crowd, yet it remains very discreet. We found everyone very kind, genuine, and welcoming. It’s hard to think of anything that could’ve been better. We had an excellent time!

• Elliott (9/5): Relaxing and exciting stay in a very attractive boutique hotel with great staff wonderful rooms and a superb massage/ - The hotel is very charming-a beautiful pool surrounded by a lush tropical garden, wonderfully equipped spacious and very comfortable rooms, and excellent and quite active spa/sauna integrated into the hotel but open to non-guests; and very very good masseurs. The staff is very friendly and helpful and always willing to chat. The hotel is only a few minutes away on foot from the bustling area where there are restaurants and clubs and lots of night-time activity. It was easy to get to great restaurants on foot The only complaint I had were the mosquitos that lay in wait in the breakfast area, but only at breakfast.

Men only, clearly gay focus, wonderful for either relaxed and quiet hotel stay or active fun dark room play. Do as little or as much as you want. Friendly local men at the bar, pool area, sauna, etc. Excellent breakfast with French press coffee. Highly recommend. We will visit again. All was good!

Breakfast was served by the owner (Thibaud), who is very attentive to my needs with juice and a few options. The A&P boys were very friendly, they gave me a warm welcome and greeted me every time I left the room or came back to the hotel. I had a great service from Valery and Matthieu. They gave me the best experience in Phnom Penh, with great service and always attentive to my needs. Definitely be back with A&P! • Eric (9/5): superbe hôtel avec un personnel attentif à ses clients - Superbe hôtel, dans l'esprit des années 30 avec un superbe escalier en colimaçon. Il y a environ 5 chambres (de dimensions différentes). Nous y sommes restés à notre arrivée à Phnom Pen 4 nuits et, compte tenu de la qualité, nous y sommes retournés avant notre retour en France 3 nuits. La décoration est vraiment top et moderne. La literie est parfaite et la wifi très bonne. Thibault le patron nous renseigne très bien sur ce pays qu'il connaît bien. Les petits déjeuners sont très copieux et délicieux notamment le pain et la viennoiserie. Nous avons beaucoup échangé avec Guy le barman qui est d'excellent conseil. On se sent un peu comme à la maison. Des externes à l'hôtel viennent pour le SPA l'après-midi et le soir. Cela permettait d'échanger autour de la piscine avec des cambodgiens. Les cocktails étaient très bons et Guy nous a même préparé un cocktail dont nous lui avons donné la recette (le ti punch). Superbe hôtel qui mérite ses 5 ⭐ et un personnel très à l'écoute. tout a été parfait

Also their restaurant was really good - had dinner there twice. You choose the breakfast from given options but it is good a varied from 6.30 till noon. Would return here again if visiting the city.

В этом отеле есть также гей-сауна, в которую приходят посетители не из отеля. Отель берет 6,5$ за вход в сауну, что очень много по меркам Камбоджи. При этом нигде нет бесплатной питьевой воды, даже кулера. Неужели хозяину отеля стоит больших денег поставить кулер с водой? Вода в баре стоит 1$, что в 4 раза выше магазинных цен! Отель развешивает сертификаты ЛГБТ-ассоциаций, гордится своими регалиями, но при этом делает деньги на здоровье посетителей. В 21 веке это ужасный стыд и лицемерие!

• Nathaniel (10/5): A gay oasis in the centre of Phnom Penh - I had a very enjoyable stay at Arthur & Paul in February 2025. Check-in was simple and straightforward, and my luggage was carried to my room. The room was very comfortable and clean and I enjoyed using the outdoor balcony. The included sauna and steam room are a fun place to relax in the evening. The swimming pool is a pleasure to use as is the hot tub where it is mandatory to be naked. The included breakfast was delicious. I did not take up the offer of a massage however there are several good looking young men providing this service if you require it. I like the artwork on display, although it’s definitely not for the easily offended! The hotel rooms do not have numbers but are individually named after famous gay couples.

The staff and the owner are really friendly, the food is good, the hotel is really clean, they can arrange transport for you. It’s a must. We had a pleasant stay and would recommend 100%. Plus, for those who like to have fun, after 8PM there’s plenty to look at or to play with.

Big hug to his handsome boys from day one till departure looked after me. The room was clean hotel spotless. breakfast was great I went 9am days. . Menu for evening meal a lot to choose from and I did. . Thibaud boys helped me out with loco taxi. Room great. Food great. And yes handsome boy to start your day massage you will enjoy. Stairs are slippery and not always highlighted during the night.

Fantastic atmosphere and great chance to meet other stay-in guests and locals at night in the sauna area. There were quite a lot of ants in the room this time and a cockroach appeared one night, perhaps need to increase frequency of pest control during summer time.

Good variety of breakfast options. Thibaud was a pleasant host! Most of the staff were friendly. I like that there are many good and interesting books everywhere on the property. At night there are many mosquitos =\. The wifi signal in my room was not so good - weak and kept getting cut off - everywhere else on the property was fine. They also provide a massage service but I felt like the massages I got elsewhere were better. Also wondering how hygienic it is when the property opens to the public as a sauna at 4pm, and most guys get in the pool in their underwear…

• Richard (9/5): Stylish spacious accommodation with attentive staff and an excellent breakfast. Spa fun. - Breakfast was lovely and prepared with care. Little touches like the butter and cheese being at room temperature rather than being served straight from the fridge. The deep swimming pool was perfect for exercising as well as relaxing. The on-site massage was excellent. The bed was comfortable with quality linens and the decor was stylish. The in house spa facilities were popular with local clientele which added interest for a solo traveller. The bar and restaurant prices were reasonable, especially for wine. I struggled a bit with the lighting at night, especially on the spiral staircase. If at all possible, some discreet overhead lighting on the staircase to make the steps more visible would have enhanced my stay, as would some brighter accent lighting in the bar area. I do respect the aesthetic however.

The staff introduced us to the facilities and services that the hotel offered and they always greeted us with a smile. The spa and pool facilities were clean and well maintained, the minibar in the room was well-stocked, and the room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-designed. We had access to the sauna, swimming pool and massage services (Pepe was a really professional massuer). For sure we want to come back when we visit Cambodia again. We can easily reccomend this place. WiFi sometimes was good sometimes worse.
• Daniel (10/5): The hotel exceeds expectations in every way - We had a truly wonderful stay at Arthur & Paul. From check-in to check-out, it was a pleasure at every step. The staff are well-trained, attentive and responsive to all our requests. The property is clean and well maintained. The bright and sunny room was quiet, comfortable and larger than expected. The bed was one of the best hotel beds I have ever slept on. Fine linens, fluffy towels, generous bathroom amenities, strong hot shower, multiple charging outlets, loads of hangers, in-room kettle with coffee and tea, writing desk, fast Wi-fi and beautifully decorated rooms. Large pool area with loads of towels on deck. The special relaxation spaces really worked for us and completely revived our senses. The bar area was a great place to meet new and friendly faces. What a treat to chat with M. Thibaud to get his tips on local attractions. Thank you to the management and staff at A&P. We will absolutely return the next time our travels take us to Phnom Penh. The dining area was a little dark for breakfast but I think that it is welcome during the hotter seasons!

• Scott (10/5): Great solo stay, a retreat in the city - After staying here with my partner and having an amazing time, I decided to stay on for 1 week solo. Honestly it was so nice I didn't want to leave. I was working during the week and the wifi was great, I had lots of zoom calls and never had any issue with connection for working. I never got bored of breakfast, the room was very comfortable, the staff were all super friendly and helpful. The owner was around to help me with anything I needed and was a genuinely nice person who you can tell cares a great deal about his hotel and maintaining an exceptional standard. I also felt very safe throughout my stay, it was classy and sexy. Lots of nice guys to meet in the evenings. There was often guys at the bar having drinks to chat with or lots of space where I could go off and do my own thing. Having the spa there everynight for a jacuzzi or steam, sauna, was also amazing. You won't regret staying here.

I almost didn't because I initially wanted to stay closer to the riverside, but it turns out the location was perfect and a close Tuk Tuk everywhere. I also wasn't sure from the pics online if it would be lacking in charm because it was very modern looking, but the opposite was true and the room and public spaces were incredibly welcoming and extremely well decorated and interesting. The breakfast was perfect and I often couldn't finish because it was too much, delicious pastries, eggs, charcuterie, fruits etc. and just well prepared and served. French food in the restaurant was delicious and the perfect alternative to the days and nights when we tried many delicious Khmer dishes out and about in the city. Everything we ate at A&P was great. Me and my partner are both big guys and the bed was incredibly comfortable for us both with giant amazing pillows. The room was always well cleaned and smelled very fresh and clean always, which I loved. There were other couples staying there and everyone seemed very nice. During the day it was very relaxing by the pool, which got sun from 10am to 2pm, perfect for tanning. Also in the evenings when the spa opened to the public there were other tourists and locals that were there and it was a fun lively spa with a very good vibe, great music, nice people. Well worth it and we will be back and will recommend. Nothing, we liked everything.

• Henrik (10/5): its a 5 star home with a 5 star team . Its like a little paradise in the middle of Phnom Pen . For me its like comming - Thibaud and his team are outstanding.

• Tim (10/5): A top quality Gay hotel - try it - it’s FAB ! - We loved it at Arthur and Paul - a very nicely appointed boutique hotel. Our room was spacious with a great bathroom and the housekeeping service was very good each day A great breakfast with a French style , food and bar drinks choice was good too. Loved the pool and spa facilities and met some lovely people as guests and evening visitors to the spa. Service was brilliant with Thibaud’s excellent team - special mention to Florent who was really welcoming, friendly and funny too and very interesting to talk to. Also yo Guy at the bar who was lovely. We added two nights to our stay as we enjoyed the hotel so much.
• Rome (10/5): - Looked like the owners built this hotel with love and passion as all little details of the room, and the hotel's facilities were amazing. Best of all, staff were siperfriendly. Will stay again, and can recommend this hotel to any gay travellers.
• Rome (10/5): - An oasis for gay men in Phnom Penh. Even though it was less than half full due to low season, everything such as the fans, lightings, fresh flower arrangement and the pool was fully run. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful I had to skip lunch. Dinner portions were also large. Cruisingwise, guests could hook up if chemistry was right. In the evening, the locals came in to join the fun in the steam room. Some locals, while they were looking for fun with each other, expected a small "help" from foreigners to pay for a "tuk tuk" to get home. Overall, it was a good stay.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - Great hotel. Only issue right now is the major construction right next door. This is not the fault of the hotel (although there is no pre-warning). There is jack-hammering and loud construction noise during the day every day. This makes it very difficult to relax at all by the pool. There is also no privacy with construction workers sitting and staring into the pool area and into rooms facing the construction. Recommend you specifically request room not facing the construction (ask for room at back).
