• Cesar (7/5): Not worth the price - Great location The shower was dirty. The owner sent it clean but still the bases were filthy. The shower door os loose at the bottom and very dangerous The owner asked me to pay €7 euros for the city tax but I dispute it since it is only €6. That is no nice since I am traveling with my wife and two adult kids 4 nights 4 people it is an additional € 16

În baie este umezeală foarte mare. Nu face față ventilatorul. Gălăgia din cauza traficului celorlalte persoane cazate în restul camerelor.

• Sara (5/5): - L’appartamento è in un quartiere tranquillo, la stanza è grande e spaziosa andrebbero riviste alcune cose però. Il proprietario è stato molto gentile a farci la salire le valige prima dell’check in e dopo il check out La porta d’ingresso non siamo riuscite ad aprirla ma chiamando il proprietario che ha risposto subito siamo riuscite a risolvere con una chiave di scorta, ma forse sarebbe il caso di rivedere la serratura. Al nostro ingresso la stanza aveva un odore cattivo che ha mantenuto per tutto il tempo della nostra permanenza nonostante le finestre aperte. Anche gli asciugamani erano umidi e non proprio puliti. La pulizia in generale lasciava un po’ a desiderare. Purtroppo la stanza non è dotata di alcun tipo di sapone nè per le mani nè per il corpo e nemmeno del phone.

The first stop is Vatican and you just continue to explore Rome from there. The host is very kind and approachable, whatever I needed, he immediately responded!

• Francesco (5/5): Niente di che. - Posizione, Via Gregorio VII è perfetta. Arrivo in aereo alle 08.00, mi adatto tranquillamente al check-in delle 14.30, avviso di arrivare per le 16. Una volta arrivato la mia camera era occupata, mi dicono che avrebbero provveduto a farmi sistemare una nuova camera, ma avrei dovuto aspettare una mezzoretta per l'arrivo dell'incaricato, piu il tempo della pulizia, nel frattempo mi viene suggerito di fare "un giro" lasciando i bagagli. Giravo già dalle 8 però. In più non ci sono i kit di benvenuto, ho dovuto aspettare le 18 per la stanza, 1 ora ulteriore per la carta igienica. Camera fredda, inverter che stacca ogni 2 minuti, riscaldamento condominiale temporaneamente fuori uso, gabinetto incollato alla doccia. Letto matrimoniale composto da due letti singoli, ma almeno un topper potreste metterlo, visto che ogni mezzora si finiva nella "scarpata" tra i 2 materassi.
• tapia cortes (1/5): Mi peor experiencia tengo videos y pruebas - Nada todo mal pésimo Junto con mi esposa nos alojamos en este hotel con expectativas bastante altas, ya que necesitábamos un descanso realmente reparador después de llevar un mes viajando por Europa. Al principio, la habitación parecía cómoda y adecuada; sin embargo, al llegar la noche comenzaron los problemas y el malestar por las deficientes condiciones del lugar. La cama aparentaba ser matrimonial, pero en realidad eran dos camas separadas que constantemente se abrían en el centro, dejando un espacio muy incómodo que impedía descansar bien. Además, el aire acondicionado no funcionaba correctamente y emitía un ruido insoportable. La calefacción también era deficiente, por lo que tuvimos que pasar tres noches con frío. La situación de la ducha fue igualmente inaceptable: el agua salía helada, pese a que insistimos varias veces al anfitrión para que nos diera una solución. Lamentablemente, nunca logró resolver el problema, por lo que durante tres días tuvimos que ducharnos en malas condiciones, algo especialmente desagradable considerando que cuando uno viaja debe levantarse temprano para realizar tours y actividades. Por otra parte, al tirar la cadena del baño se escuchaba un ruido muy fuerte, similar al de una lavadora, de manera constante. Incluso salía agua por debajo del baño. A esto se sumaba la falta de aseo adecuado y los constantes ruidos provenientes de otras habitaciones, lo que hacía imposible descansar con tranquilidad. Debido a esta muy mala experiencia, no recomiendo este lugar a turistas que realmente necesiten un descanso digno y reparador. Las condiciones del alojamiento fueron indignas y están muy lejos de lo que uno espera al hospedarse en un hotel!!
• stephanie (6/5): Vraiment dommage pour le prix - Le logement est très bien situé, à 20 min de marche du Vatican et à environ 1h de tous les autres monuments Le descriptif bed and breakfast ne devrait plus être sur l’annonce puisque rien n’est mis à disposition, la porte douche était cassée, impossible à fermer et le pommeau de douche était brisé quand nous sommes arrivés c’est à se demander si la douche a été nettoyée, le mini frigo de la chambre était sale, c’est vraiment dommage car ça peut être un très beau logement

Bucataria (comuna mai multor camere) este bine dotata, relativ spatioasa, usor accesibila. baia este surpriza neplacuta. Dusul este oribil, lipsesc dotari minimale (savoniera, de exemplu), perdeaua de la cabina de dus este rupta si murdara. De asemenea, nu am primit factura nici la trei saptamani dupa sejur, desi am solicitat-o de trei ori. Am avut ceva probleme cu identificarea spatiului de cazare Dreams of Rome, un apartament cu mai multe camere, aflat intr-un imobil mai mare.

Electricity was out on the first night.completely dark. We were so tired and had to wait til midnight until the owner showed up and moved us.. It's so uncomfortable. The tv broken and never been fixed eventought the owner promise to fix . None. The communication was not good with owner. The next morning I was so shocked😱somebody open our door and said "who told you to stay in this room????! 😟😠no compensation at all from owner for all the troubles and inconvenience 😞😞

• Jennifer (6/5): Wir hatten eine gute Zeit - Unterkunft liegt stadtnah und es sind genug Supermärkte im Umkreis vorhanden. Die Gemeinschaftsküche war gut ausgestattet und das Zimmer sauber. Das Frühstück dürfte etwas mehr Auswahl bieten. Kuchen und Kekse waren für uns leider nicht der optimale Start in den Tag. Wir hätten uns zumindest etwas Obst oder Brot gewünscht, welches wir uns dann aber direkt selber bei einem Supermarkt um die Ecke besorgt hatten.

• Mildred (4/5): - Clean and large room for a family of 5. The property isn’t located conveniently. Metro is far away from the property. A bus needs to be taken to get there.

Mattresses - 2, very hard Pillows - 2, very firm Outside noise - 8, very quiet street Inside noise - 1 LOUD construction noise right over our room right after 8 am, also our neighbors talking/using kitchen late at night Shower - 6 half a glass panel, window on ground level, shower handle holder is loose so you can't adjust it Bath - 10 nice deep bathtub Kitchen - 8 access to dishes which is nice. No oven. Hair dryer - 8 very good Reception - 7 the cleaning lady is very nice and did her best to handle reception duties with some English. I was able to get in late at night thanks to talking to owner on Whatsapp but he didn't respond to texts so I called him. There was a struggle with paying at the end. Breakfast - 6 pre-packaged dessert pastries, milk, juice, yogurt, fruits Cleaning - 10 day two we had linens re-tucked and fresh towels put in A/C - 8 works but it's cyclically loud Window shades - 10 electronic full blackout shades Location - 8 pretty close to bus stop on foot Our biggest problem was payment. The receptionist was on and off the phone with the owner who kept breaking up, probably on vacation. The computer showed I had paid, but I wasn't sure as I already had issues with Expedia not honoring "Pay at Stay" at other places. I had to check every bank account I had but I had not yet paid. She took my payment and we then left.

Also, we found it the word breakfast included it means "there's stuff in the kitchen help yourself"and not much of it

My only issue was that is provides as a bed a breakfast which usually implies breakfast is served I would assume something, however they give you a kitchen with a expresso maker I couldn’t figure out how to use, a toaster and no use of stove and a locked fridge. There’s a small dorm like fridge in the room but it holds very little. Considering my 7 day stay was almost as much as a monthly rent in the states , having access to breakfast or even the ability to cook would have been nice. Outside of that I had zero complaints and my stay was comfortable and pleasant

• Explore660754 (2/5): Worst place I’ve ever stayed in - We met in this place after few years of not seeing each other to explore Rome. I booked a double bed and a single bed and as advertised bed and breakfast but a month before we’re due to arrived I was informed that the hotel doesn’t serve breakfast anymore. So I tried to contact the apartment directly to check. I called them few consecutive days but nobody answers the phone so I contacted Expedia to help me out and unfortunately they have same luck as me. 2 weeks before our arrival I mange to get hold of the reception and asked about bed and breakfast I explained that we have activities booked as early as 9am so basically we would like to have breakfast before going of. The person Anna Maria said they could do the breakfast in the bar so I said that fine. Arrived in the apartment and I was told by Alexandra that they don’t serve breakfast for months so I tried to explain to her slowly about what I’m happy about the wrong room she put us in a double bed and the breakfast issue but despite my gentle way of explaining to her I felt that she gets annoyed and put phone down on me. I told her it’s not nice to put phone down on people then few minutes after thinking an excuse she told me she was driving and yet no apology received. Aside from the fact that place as you approach it was full improperly disposed garbage the noise early morning around 4-5 am. I don’t know where it’s coming from some sorts of banging as if like people are going out and trying to dispose of garbage but because our room was the first one as you come in I kept on waking up around such time except when after few days of walking and I was completely flat out. Bed sheets are only changed after 3 days. Our kettle has white bits insure that no matter how many times you rinse it when the water boils it comes out so I kept on borrowing my friends kettle next door but I never highlighted that to the devotion because I can’t be bothered anymore after the other hassles. And oh, initially I was told that she was the owner because that’s what her son said he was son of the owner then after all those. Issues highlighted she turned round and said she was only a worker?!? Came back after the not so relaxing week break and spoke to Expedia to highlight same concern so they refunded to me the breakfast expenses and they told me to email them about the rest of the issues I rest. They tried to contact the hotel to raise my issue but a couple of times whilst I was on hold they told Expedia that they can only speak to someone who can speak Italian! That’s a lot of crap!! Not recommending and going to be my first and last on this one!Never again.

• Francisco Javier (2/5): Pesimo, no hospedarse ahi nunca en la vida!!! - Para empezar, este no es un hotel, es un cuarto que te rentan y no ha y recepción 24/7, tienes que llamar a la persona que deja un letrero hasta que uno llega por lo que estuvimos esperando mas de 30 minutos a la persona que nos abriera el cuarto, esto es muy malo porque ibamos de viaje y no teniamos celular en esa ciudad. Reserve mi hospedaje con desayuno incluido y resulta que no ofrecen desayunos y la persona que se llama Alessandra dijo que no daba desayunos incluidos y que desde el año pasado no da desayunos incluidos y le mostré mi reserva con desayuno incluido y dijo que era un problema de hoteles.com y no era su problema. La cama estaba dura, las sabanas rotas, el cuarto hacia frio, no servia la calefaccion y el baño hacia un ruido extraño cada 20 minutos como de una bomba de agua, por lo cual las dos noches reservadas no pudimos ni dormir. Pesimo de hoteles que tengan estos pseudo hoteles reservando, que mienten sobre el desayuno y mienten sobre que es un hotel y no es hotel. Para terminar muy mal que nos cobraron adicional 14 euros por impuestos de la ciudad y en efectivo, por lo que tuve que ir a sacar dinero del banco y nos cobro comisión por no anticipar estos cobros adicionales en efectivo por parte de hoteles. Muy mal muy molesto por esta situación que pasa uno de viaje.

• Petra (8/5): - Rom ist eine Reise wert und die Unterkunft gut gelegen. Mehrere Buslinien waren in kurzer Entfernung zu erreichen. Diese fuhren zum Vatikan und ins Zentrum.
• Natale (8/5): Confortevole, pulito e familiare - Ci siamo trovati molto bene, posizione strategica, stanze moderne e pulite. La sera fa un po' freddo, ma con il condizionatore addizionale, e una coperta extra da richiedere, si risolve.
• Rock-me-Amadeus-Fox (8/5): Friendly and welcoming, clean and quiet but not near the main attractions. - Dreams of Rome is a converted apartment on the ground floor of a large and pleasant apartment complex. We stayed in the family room which had a large double bed and two single beds in a spacious room. It was modern and clean with a good bathroom with two sinks and a shower (no bath) and towels are provided along with some toiletries. The room is air conditioned which was great because Rome is HOT in the summer! There is a useful fridge and access to a communal kitchen area with plates and cutlery and a microwave. The owner was very welcoming and accommodating and spoke good English. We were served a light breakfast in our room (croissant and coffee) at a time of our choosing. It probably won't be enough for some people, however it set us up nicely until we could get out for our morning coffee. Locally there are some good restaurants and a couple of supermarkets 2 minutes walk away. It is about 20 minutes walk from Vatican City but over an hour from the Palatine Hill where most of the Roman buildings are located. There is a bus stop 2 minutes way which takes you to the centre in about half and hour. We came direct from the airport at night which took about 20 minutes (of terrifying Italian driving!), however in the day time this journey can be up to an hour or more. TOP TIP: when exiting the airport do not accept lifts from people offering 'taxis', you will pay more and the taxi will not be registered - go to the taxi rank outside where you can get a proper Rome taxi (white cars with black writing on the side) which will take you to Rome for a fixed price. Because we arrived late at Dreams of Rome we paid a late arrival surcharge - this is made clear on their website. However, the room was still great value compared to many other places, clean and secure.
• epops61 (10/5): Heaven - Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Bed was extremely comfortable, Breakfast was good and all amenities clean and 100% Would highly recommend to all. Staff are fantastic. Location is good for restaurants of all types. Will stay here again.

• ClarisseB182 (8/5): Comfortable and well furnished room - I spent 6 nights in Roma with my family. First be careful because Dreams of Rome is a B&B and not an hotel ( whereas it is indicated on website research....). The room was comfortable and well furnished. The air cond was very nice (it was 40 degres in Roma). Room and bathroom were very clean. The breakfast is correct but not more: a very small cup of jam, a strange orange juice... and a very small table in the room for 4 people and only 3 chairs. A woman came every morning to prepare the breakfast and as soon as she arrived, she made some noise so you couldn't spleep anymore. A good place for 2 or 3 days. Good localisation near vatican and a bus station (but take care: most often you didn't have any bus or have to wait about 1 hour)
• Verified traveler (10/5): Hidden Jewel next to the Vatican - The staff is very nice and accommodating, the room is very spacious (3 beds), it has private new and spacious bathroom, AC.... Just everything we needed for our stay in Rome. It is a very nice please to stay. I can't say enough.
• divigem (8/5): Awesome hospitality - Very well maintained rooms, awesome hospitality, good locality. Only minor drawback being it is approx 1 km from the metro station, which is not a lot if you do not have too much of luggage with you. We reached pretty late in the night and all we had to do was to inform them over the mail and they were awake to welcome us.
• 551conniel (8/5): Nice stay, very clean, close to the Vatican - The staff was great. English was a bit of challenge but overall they were very good. Same breakfast every day, couldn't really change it much, but small continental style served to you in your room. No buffet to choose from. Rooms were small but very clean. We had 3 of the 4 rooms so it was really just like having an apartment. The staff left by noon, so we were needed to ask for anything before they left. Had an incident with a popped circuit breaker and call the emergency number with very quick and kind response that fixed the issue. We walked everywhere. Very nice location.
• 134brunom (10/5): Central location, excellent staff! - My wife and I stayed in Rome on mixed business and leisure recently, and this hotel was perfect for our needs. Walking distance to the centre of Rome and to the Vatican which meant everything the cities have to offer are right on your doorstep! The Dreams of Rome could not accomodate us for our whole stay, but they have a sister hotel called the Heart of Rome. This was less than five minutes walk away, so shared all the benefits of the Dreams. The staff even helped us to carry over our luggage. Free wifi was also offered, and the hotel staff did everything they could to help including booking taxi's when we needed them. Would definitely stay here again, and would recommend to anyone.
• 461mk (10/5): Great experience - My husband and I just checked out of dreams of rome from a four night stay. We came to Rome for our honeymoon and had a great experience. I had emailed the hotel and asked for the most romantic room possible or available and they have us the "passion" room, decorated with towels folded like swans, roses and champagne ready for us when we got there- wonderful! We took advantage of the airport transfer they offered which was very helpful- the driver was waiting for us with a sign and the price was better than a taxi would have been. The breakfast was simple and satisfying, and you do get to choose your menu. The bathroom was private, clean, and renovated. I felt like we had a much more authentic experience than if we had stayed at a larger hotel. The neighborhood is a short walk to the Vatican and a short bus ride from anywhere else you might want to go in Rome. Bus stops are just across the street and most of the buses that stop there will take you into the city. Overall, we had a great stay and if we ever get to come back to Rome we will be staying here again!

Our only worry was that check-in closed at 9pm when we didn't book until 10pm, so weren't sure if anyone would be there to let us in. But after a phone call to them they showed up within minutes to let us in. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Walking distance to town and all the historic places.
• rjnewman111 (8/5): Lovely place, difficult location - I recently stayed at Dreams of Rome and found it to be lovely. The only thing that is preventing me from giving it a perfect review is the location. It is a very, very nice neighborhood, but in order to get anywhere but the Vatican requires a bus to the metro or a cab ride. And let's just say that there are more honest cab drivers in the world than those in Rome. And I speak Italian, so lack of understanding is no excuse. My room was clean and pleasant. The proprietors were extremely helpful, and the simple breakfast was great for me. My only quibble with the facility, itself, was the lack of space between the toilet and the shower. To be quite frank, I am tall, and it was a challenge for me to find a place for my knees. Nevertheless, I was really comfortable at Dreams of Rome, and I do recommend it.
• Queencitas (10/5): A little miracle - This is an amazing bed and breakfast in a fair location, close to the Vatican. The rooms are spacious, comfortable. impeclably clean and have a nice modern style, with everything you can possibly need in a hotel room. The WIFI is excellent, the shower is delicious.The best part is the breakfast they serve: they make yoy choose what you will want for breakfast upon check in and pick the time you will want it, and then everyday they deliver it to your room! Great service, great facilities, good location (a few blocks from many attarctions in Rome). I highly recommend this place!!!
• 828angelam828 (10/5): Great B&B - I traveled to Rome with my family when they were visiting Europe for the first time. This hotel was very good for what we were looking for. Mauro and Silvia are very nice and warm people always willing to help and give suggestions. Breakfast was good, the room was clean and always in good condition. Very near (walking distance) to the Vatican and to public buses to go to the center of Rome. My parents and I really liked our stay there.
• JasperrNL (10/5): Great B&B, outstanding value! - We stayed at Dreams of Rome for 4 nights, and are very happy we did! Our room (the "Love..." one) was spacious, clean, and new. Almost hotel-like, with a ditto bathroom, air conditioning, mini-fridge, etc.. The room has a large set of windowed doors which open for some fresh air, and comes with a courtyard view, providing a very open, light and pleasant atmosphere. The B&B itself is located in a gated condominium complex (with a day-time guard; guests receive a gate key) in a somewhat off-center part of Rome, slightly South-West of the Vatican (ca. 1.5 km). Not a bad location by any means, and the B&B has several bus stops right around the corner (buses taking you to downtown Rome or to the Metro). We even walked to the closest Metro station (ca. 10-15 minutes, slightly uphill). The two-headed staff of Dreams of Rome was incredibly friendly, helpful and linguistically innovative, and made us feel very welcome. They also provided great service (check-in and check-out was done very professionally, quick and easy, and after our shower head broke one morning, it had been replaced by the time we got back in the afternoon), and always had a smile on their face. Being able to personally decide both the in-room delivery time as well as the content of our breakfast was also a great feature, as it made planning our day in Rome much easier (and we never got anything for breakfast that we did not like). All in all, we would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Rome, as it was by far the best place we've ever stayed at in this city. The room, the staff, the price and the service put the crown on a great vacation for us.
