- Anne-Marie (10/5): A perfect B&B - Our idea of a perfect b&b. Michael and Sally were great hosts and have created a warm and welcoming B&B. We loved the beautiful, peaceful location and watching an amazing amount of birds coming to their bird feeder over breakfast of fresh eggs from their chickens. Thank you for a lovely stay

Nothing ,we both devoured all on our plates Everything was beautifully cooked and delicious to eat.

- Mic (10/5): travelled for an 80th birthday so know the area from 20+ years ago so good to reminisce - best breakfast ever
- Anonymous (10/5): A wonderful restful home from home in beautiful surroundings of the Sussex countryside. - The breakfast was excellent. Fresh fruit! Lovely cooked breakfast, all farm fresh ingredients. Bedroom very comfortable and our host and hostess couldn't have been more accommodating. There even was a sitting room downstairs with a tv in it, so an alternative spot to staying in the bedroom. Lovely garden and plenty of parking. Our hosts gave us information about local places and even booked a table for us in the local pub! Lovely grounds with hens and shrubs galore. Bwcause the location is a good walk from nearby eateries and shops, we were dependent on driving for meals etc. Fine in summer, but maybe harder after dark.
- Judith (9/5): Superb -

- JILL (10/5): Highly Recommended - We contacted the B&B to arrange a very early check in which was agreed with no problem.
There was a dedicated parking space close to the guest entrance which made taking luggage to the room easier.
We stayed whilst the worst of Storm Darragh was passing, so the short walk to the entrance was very welcome.
The room was spacious enough with shower, comfortable bed and, despite Storm Darragh doing its worst outside, very quiet.
Breakfast was very tasty with all produce locally bought, or made in house (I recommend the marmalade!) with a selection of cereal, fresh fruit and Greek yoghurt, a cooked breakfast which you can tweak to your liking.
Sally and Michael Marley-Ward, the owners were very friendly and accommodating to our needs.
We were staying to visit family and were quite late going to our room and did not explore the area which looked very rural and very interesting.
Highly recommended.

- Irene (9/5): Lovely B&B - Nice hosts, sweet dogs, great breakfast. They even have sausages for vegetarians. We had a lovely stay, very tranquil. Don't bring a huge suitcase as the room size is limited
- Robert (9/5): A most enjoyable experience. - It was interesting to stay in a farm location. I enjoyed the chickens and horses.

- Shaunp (10/5): A gem of a B&B! - Sally and Michael are very welcoming and great hosts. The location is rural, peaceful and simply beautiful. The room was comfortable, clean and had all the facilities one would require. Guests also have use of a separate downstairs living room that is very homely. Breakfast was amazing and amongst the best I've had while working away - you really are spoilt! Fresh fruit with Greek yoghurts, homemade jam, plentiful coffee/juice and fully cooked high quality breakfast! I will certainly return but hopefully not for work next time as there is lots to do in the surrounding area, especially if you like walking and other outdoor activities.
- Julia (10/5): Exceptional - Sally & Mike gave us a warm welcome as soon as we arrived, our room was lovely, clean & comfortable with a gorgeous en-suite shower room.
Nothing was too much trouble breakfast was plentiful & delicious.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will very much look forward to when we can book a return visit. Thank you for making our special weekend wonderful 💕 Having to leave!
- Annie (10/5): Sally and Mike were very nice and happy to help with suitcases and questions - Excellent room breakfast just great All was excellent just great
- Alan (9/5): Ideal -
- Nienke (10/5): - A very attractive place. The dogs, cat and people on the farm were all very welcoming. The rooms upstairs were a little hot, but it was 32 °C outside. The garden, especially the big tree, were a blessing. We enjoyed our last full English breakfast, before we headed back home.
- Jeffery (9/5): super stay - The breakfasts were really good -excellent selection -well cooked. We were fortunate, some really nice people staying at the same time , so swapped breakfast stories etc, plus 'where to visit' info etc . Very quiet locality and near to all of the National Trust places we were hoping to visit. Nothing really. -Not the fault of the B & B -but the roads/tracks !! -full of pot holes and worse.
- Peter (8/5): A relaxed and friendly environment with excellent food. - Friendly and relaxed reception. Helpful and attentive owners.
- Ghalyah (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts were very sweet and breakfast was made with love. Nothing.
- Lynda (10/5): LOVELY PLACE TO STAY - RECOMMEND - Location for exploring the area good. In the countryside but near amenities. Very friendly hosts and the room was very clean and comfortable, if a bit quirky getting down into bathroom through a hole in a wall!!!!! Lovely breakfast, with plenty of choice. There was a guests lounge with tv if you wanted to chill out, plus table and chairs outside overlooking lovely garden. Easy drive to places to eat. All in all a great stay and would recommend. The bed was a bit too firm and was quite noisy!! (It creaked badly!!)
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jim (10/5): Tidebrook Tales - Sally and Michael were excellent hosts and provided the perfect environment for us following a busy five weeks in the UK, Ireland and Sicily. Relaxing walks around the farm, interacting with their dogs and horses and being entertained at breakfast by a family of woodpeckers outside the dining room was just what we needed. Within easy driving distance to many historical sites including Battle and Hever Castle and Gardens.
The Middle House restaurant in nearby Mayfield was a particular dining highlight.
Our three day break was just what we needed.
- Lisa (10/5): Lovely little B and B - Very friendly owners. Great breakfasts. Lovely rooms, clean and quaint.
- Elizabeth (9/5): Comfortable accommodation - The owners were friendly, very attentive to my needs and helpful with information as to where to eat out nearby as well as making themselves available by mobile phone if they were not at the property. It was good to be given key to the house to be able to come and go as I needed.
Breakfast was cooked to order and was excellent. It was lovely to have fresh fruit available.
The room was very clean and comfortable. In my room there wasn't a shower I could stand up in because the en-suite had a sloping room. There was, however, a bath with a shower attachment/head over it.
Guest parking area was quite small but owners were helpful offering parking elsewhere if needed.
- Chris (9/5): Superb - Gorgeous location, lovely people
- Andrew (10/5): Whether you seek relaxation or adventure, this gem provides the perfect base - Little Tidebrook Farm near Wadhurst, East Sussex, is a hidden paradise that deserves every bit of praise. The hosts' hospitality is exceptional, ensuring a warm and comfortable stay. The charmingly decorated rooms are cozy and immaculate, guaranteeing a peaceful night's rest. Waking up to the tranquil countryside and being treated to a fresh cooked breakfast made was simply delightful.
- Colin (9/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay - We received a very friendly welcome from Sally and Mike and were immediately made to feel at home. The accommodation was characterful, well maintained and very peaceful. The breakfast was excellent and sitting with fellow guests at the large farmhouse table each morning was good fun. I would recommend staying here and would stay again if I was to revisit the area in the future. There was nothing that we didn’t like. We had hoped to have a bath in our room as the photos on the website showed one. There was instead an excellent walk in shower. The site says either bath of shower so I know now in future to clarify this with the hosts before hand.
- Derek (9/5): Despite the water cuts, which were nothing to do with the hosts, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. - Great breakfast and lovely hosts. Very peaceful. Parking
- Davey (9/5): Superb -
- Avril (10/5): Wonderful hosts and great stay recommend +++ - Lovely setting with an excellent guests lounge, dining area en-suite bedroom and use of the garden. all wonderful perhaps the Wi-Fi could be a bit quicker.
- Steve (10/5): A Farm Worth a Stay - The location is great. A real farm with character. Sally and Michael are exemplary hosts. We felt welcome and comfortable with them. They made us feel at home. The house and our room were comfortable and warm. The bed was comfortable. Everything worked and was well maintained. Breakfast was delicious. A comfortable drive to Sissinghurst and Scotney Castle and many other attractions. We would stay at Little Tidebrook Farm again. Nothing to dislike
- L (10/5): Beautiful, Walking countryside location, quiet site, welcoming and very helpful hosts - Breakfast was plentiful and appetising with much choice. The location was rural with narrow roads, but the bonus of beautiful countryside for walking and wild flowers and quiet. Can’t think of anything could’ve been better
- Sandra (9/5): perfect for what we required. and the owners had lovley dogs. - didn’t realise that that the accommodation had separate access. dining/sitting area. pleasantly surprised. home from home. ideal for the party travelling.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Third visit, Sally and Mike are lovely hosts. Very peaceful place, nice garden view from breakfast table. All we needed was there. Nothing to complain!
- Nada (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jeroen (10/5): Exceptional - Nice and quiet place to stay
- Gert (9/5): Lovely stay in a wonderful area. - When we arrived we got a warm welcome. The owners were also very flexible towards arriving on a later time. Breakfast was plentiful and really good. The B&B is located in a lovely area. Beautiful for walking and exploring the neighbouring towns. The room we had was less comfortable for us as we are pretty big (both 1m85) and the ensuite bathroom was located under a slanted roof. Which meant that we could only stand upright in the middle. The bed was too hard for our comfort.
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samantha (8/5): Very good - Great breakfast and location
- Tim (8/5): Lovely and cosy, nice wood heater. Situated in a quiet place, ideal for relaxing. - Breakfast was great, well cooked and a great start to the day.
The hosts were fantastic and gave some wonderful suggestions for things to see.
- Jo (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay was perfect, the location, cleanliness, the room was lovely and breakfast was amazing. It was everything we wanted and more. Sally and Mike were amazing hosts.and we can't wait to visit again next year.
