- Titanji (8/5): - This is my second time staying at hotel la malaise. Their airport shuttle is very reliable. There was a driver waiting for me to pick me up when I came out of the airport with a sign so I could easily identify him. My room was clean, air conditioned and comfortable with hot running water, clean toilets and toiletries provided. The staff are welcoming and friendly.I recommend highly staying here and requesting the complimentary shuttle service for airport pick up or drop off as needed. It is good value for money.

- JEAN-MARIE (8/5): Week-end du 17/18 janvier 2026. - La position géographique au centre de la ville, nous a permis d'atteindre avec ponctualité nos objectifs de déplacements multiples pour participer à toutes les étapes des cérémonies auxquelles nous étions invités. La gestionnaire a pris compte dans la facturation, l'absence de certains utilités dans la chambre pour toutes les personnes signalées lors de la réservation en ligne. Le personnel est calme et sympathique. L'état du parking souterrain n°1, avec des déchets d'équipements de sport et d'emballages divers a rendu difficile le stationnement de la voiture. La qualité du son et des images de la télévision visiblement technologiquement obsolète.

- Placide (10/5): sur une note de 1 à 10, je dirais 9 - super, avec un personnel accueillant et disponible. Très à l'écoute et surtout prêt à me renseigner en cas de besoin. Le professionnalisme y était et la communication horizontale était bien mise en avant car c'est un point que je ne rigole pas avec et, le personnel a fait preuve de celà comme il se doit. La chaleur dans le couloir pour accéder à la chambre car ledit couloir n'avait l'air conditionné. Je me suis renseigné et un employé m'a dit que c'était temporaire. Heureusemment la chambre et les autres pièces étaient climatisées.

Todo impecable, seguro, limpio y bien mantenido. Las habitaciones son cómodas, amplias y limpias. Los empleados y los encargados muy atentos y cordiales. Felicito a Emile Jérôme, Ermond, Sylvie, Viviane por su amabilidad y su profesionalismo. También a los encargados de la limpieza, de la restauración y de la seguridad!!! Todo ha sido excelente!

- Boghuma (7/5): It was pleasant and perfect for the purposes of airport pick-up and brief overnight transit stay - I especially like the complimentary airport pick up. I was met at the airport by the driver who was easy to spot and had the sign of the hotel in hand. He took me to the hotel. I felt safe. The refrigerator in room had a leak that needed to be cleaned up when I arrived as there was a lot of water on the floor. The staff prompt cleaned up the mess but it was late and I wish I did not need to wait for this clean to be able to get some rest. They could have spotted this issue before housing a guest in that room

- george (8/5): Very mature staff. - Great hotel in a great location. The receptionists are amazing and made my check-in seem less. The rooms are very clean, the only downside is that the bathroom is too small and there's no space to seat on the toilet pot.

Personally for me, the number of towels in the room could be increased. Should try and add more items in the fridge inside the room even if they are chargeable it's very okay.

I did visit 3 rooms before I chose mine, located in a high floor for better view of the city. The staff is very polite and helpful. Located in one of the active areas of Douala close to local joints for food and other activities.

Though we ended up eating somewhere else, we stopped by the cool hotel bar for a night cap, and were once again pleased by the politeness and friendliness of our servers.
