- Lucian Florentin (1/5): - Curățenia Doamna care ne-a făcut check-in. Pe lângă că ne-a reproșat că am întârziat foarte puțin, ne-a spus că nu suntem pe lista ei cu rezervări. I-am arătat confirmarea rezervării noastre primită de la Booking.com pe mail și în aplicație. Cu toate acestea a întârziat să ne cazeze susținând că nu avem rezervare la motel. Eram obosiți după un drum lung și am mai stat o oră jumătate tot încercând să spunem că problema nu e la noi. E între ea și Booking.com. Un adevărat profesionist ar fi încercat să discute cu siteul de rezervări. În schimb ne-a pus pe noi să sunăm la Booking.com deși aveam confirmarea rezervării. În cele din urmă a contactat-o Booking.com și s-a lămurit problema. De mulți ani de când călătoresc nu am întâlnit așa atitudine urâtă și neprofesionistă. Ne-a făcut să ne simțim ca niște infractori.

- Deborah (9/5): - Very clean and tidy close to town shops etc The fold down shower seat in the shower fell down and hit my leg left a big ruise. Otherwise bathroom good for disabled people or elderly.
- John (9/5): It was our last night on the road of a week of staying in motels/hotels. It was the best of all. - We were met at reception by Robyn, a new employee. After checking us in she proceeded to take the room key and go with me to the door. She opened it and showed me through the room, pointing out things. As we were leaving to go for dinner next door, Robyn came out of the office and handed us a bottle of milk for our coffee. Excellent service. The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that I wanted to book at this excellent establishment next February on certain dates and they were sold out.

It was easy to find, and the parking was good. Staff seemed to be happy and helpful. I wish most places were this well-appointed and managed. We were there only one night, but would have like to stayed longer. Kitchen area is small, but everything was easy to find and use. The clock should be in a better location.(It had a clock in the suite.)

- Tim (8/5): - Pedlars is a long time favourite, and has been pretty much since the motel was first built. It is conveniently located next to the best eating-in establishment in town and beside the Hauraki Plains bike track. Not pretentious but comfortable and, if you get there in time, provides a carpark at your door. Sooner or later every motel requires refurbishment and Pedlars is approaching that point.
