Guest Reviews
- Mary (8/5): - I dint like the room so small i think there should be hand rails at the 2 steps to get in front door.
- Jarrod (10/5): - It was a wonderful relaxing time spent there!! We were treated very well and the breakfast was delicious!! Definitely plan on going back!!
- Jane (10/5): Excellent - Terrific B&B. Lovely property to take a morning walk. The innkeeper and his family made us very welcome. Delicious breakfast. We had a fire in the fire pit for a couple of nights. For a B&B it was very private.
- Dede (10/5): - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful and tranquil - very relaxing to sit and watch the ducks, chickens and goats. Our room had a private entrance with a patio where we enjoyed a pit fire on the cool evenings and delicious homemade breakfasts in the mornings. The owners were wonderfully nice and accommodating. We’d highly recommend The Lost Pearl! Central to many wineries and covered bridges. Cleveland is within a short drive to go see the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
- Bill (10/5): - Wonderful little BNB. Goats on the property were a blast. Room was very quaint and quiet. Firepit outside our room was most enjoyable. Minutes from most wineries in the region. would stay there again.
- Richard (10/5): Weekend Get Away - The Lost Pearl is a real gem, close to everything you would want to do, yet quiet so you can kick back. Watching the goats was a treat. Daniel is very nice and helpful would come back without a doubt.
- Melanie (10/5): Romantic Getaway - Wonderful weekend getaway for my husband and I at The Lost Pearl. Our room was period decorated including unique antiques. We enjoyed the firepit right off our back patio. The quaint farmhouse feel was lovely with goats, ducks, and a walking path through the woods. Our breakfast was delicious and rivaled any gourmet restaurant. Location was central to all the local wineries.
- Tom (10/5): Nice Stay - It was a Great stay. Very comfortable setting. Great Breakfast both days.
- Kevin (10/5): - Property is beautiful and very well kept. Room was very clean and owners are extremely nice and welcoming. Breakfast was amazing both days. Located close to all of the wineries and short drive to Geneva on the lake. Perfect location. Would highly recommend to anyone.
- MarkR (10/5): - The Lost Pearl could be named the Hidden Treasure, because that's what it is! The owner is extremely nice and goes out of his way to make your stay enjoyable. We stayed here over the 4th of July. We enjoyed the many nearby wineries (and a distillery!) while also spending a day and enjoying the fireworks at Geneva on the Lake. After a hot, humid day, it was nice to return to this cool oasis in the country. The landscaping and gardens are beautiful with many areas to sit or stroll. We especially enjoyed the goats at the back of the property. The room was unique and very comfortable, decorated in many antiques. The jetted tub felt especially good after a long day. We'll be coming back.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful, I especially loved the ducks, goats and real honey made on premises.
- Rowland (10/5): The Details of a Magical B AND B! - When I saw the reviews online, I thought “ they must be paying these people! Nothing can be THAT GOOD! “ especially at their great prices. We were truly enchanted with our stay in the Pirate’s room! The amount of engineering, taste and wonderful decor could never be understated... beautiful and high tech all the way through...! We enjoyed the breakfasts and varieties of beverages and delicious pastries etc. offered. Their maple syrup is also great. What I like is that your hosts do not hover over you, but have learned the well balanced dance of giving space and service . If you go, you will love the gentleman’s estate, where ducks ( who provide your breakfast eggs) entertain with their cacophony of hilarious honks and squeeks abd waddles! The goats will perform for you as well. Cat and dogs are around if you need a cuddle and if you feel like “ living large” , the outdoor chess game will remind you of Alice in Wonderland. You must walk by the red caboose ( unless you’re lucky enough to sleep in it..😉) The whole place at the Lost Pearl has been created with love and talent and divine inspiration. I am coming back in the Fall!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We loved staying here!!Our room was really pretty and clean!!Love the jetted tub!!Breakfast was amazing!!Owners are really nice and hospitable to your needs!!If you love wineries there everywhere in the area!!We had alot of fun staying there!!
- William (10/5): Look no further. Perfect - We stayed two nights during our visit to the WWPA Waterpolo Championships at the Spire Institute in Geneva. The Lost Pearl was close to the venue and vineyards. Its small and very unique. All the rooms are themed and we stayed in the Pirate Room. The decore was detailed right down to the his and her pirate costumes and hats. The owner is currently building a room that resembles a train caboose and it is absolutely beautiful. This is a perfect weekend getaway especially for anyone looking for a place that is convienant and romantic. The hosts were attentive and made you feel at ease and at home. Breakfast was fantastic. This was well worth the price and money well spent. We would recommend the Lost Pearl to all our friends and anyone visiting the Geneva area. Cannot say enought about the charm, warmth, comfort and atmosphere. They also have a carriage house for the family. Unfortunately for us it was occupied. Would have loved to have had a chance to see it. I have no doubt its the perfect fit for a family get away or friends on a wine country getaway. A real treasure!
- Donna (10/5): - Very clean cozy and comfortable. Innkeeper, Daniel, was gracious and friendly. Highly recommend for a cozy get away
- Rosie (10/5): - Wonderful country location but close to many activities.
The owners are friendly and more than anxious to please their guests.
I highly recommend this B & B.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Lovely anniversary retreat. - Room was small but very comfortable and attractively decorated. The en suite bathroom was modern and well-equipped. It was a quiet retreat for our one night stay near the wineries we wanted to visit. And it was my first experience using Alexa! Lovely grounds surrounding the Lost Pearl and was fun to see the goats and ducks.
- Jaime (10/5): - The pirate theme in our room was a lot of fun. I felt like I was in "Pirates of the Caribbean!" Daniel and his son, Sam, were very attentive. We appreciated the explanation of local sights in the area. It was also wonderful to have such a great selection of breakfast foods and to be able to enjoy it in the front garden.
- Beth (10/5): - My husband and I enjoyed a couple day get away and we're blessed to be able to spend them here. The Lost Pearl was lovely and very relaxing. We were not able to utilize all the B&B had to offer, but the room was cozy, the facility was spotless and the food was excellent. The host and hostess were very welcoming, while honoring your privacy as well. It was a lovely experience.
- Jack (8/5): - Very cozy quiet place to stay...rich in histiry.. and close to both Cleveland "things to do" as well as all the beaches along the southern shore if Lake Erie
